Concorde Hotel Fujairah in Fujairah

It supposed to be a 5 stars hotel, but the reality is like 2 stars.

Room: mattress is really old in different rooms, lamps don’t work at all.
It’s not properly clean, and they skip some days to do the cleaning. I had to wait until night to get clean my room, I got the label to clean my room at 6am when I left to work and I came back at 4 pm and it was not done yet, so I called them and they say they will do it and they never came, I went to the receptionist and they fixed until 11pm at night, what is this?
I requested an iron for my clothes, and they say it was not working, so I had to wait again until they could find something what worked.

Service: staff are nice and friendly, but it takes too long to fix the problems for them, when you call to the receptionist they say they will do it and it never gets done, so I don’t think they do it at all.

Location: the only thing that is good and this hotel.

Breakfast: buffet was nice, fresh food and so many Indian options, so if you are not from here, just get some scrambled eggs and fruits.

Amenities: sauna was dirty, and it took more than one hour to hit up. Jacuzzi was nice, steam room was ok, not good not bad, just available if you want it. The receptionist at the spa told me that I was allowed to be in those amenities for only ONE hour, which is crazy because nobody else was there and it was 5pm, after one hour she came back and I had to leave.
Pool is big, nice view of the mosque and the staff there is friendly.

Would I stay there again? NO, why? Because I paid for a decent experience hotel and I got a cheap experience.

Once it was a great hotel. I previously stayed here, but now they have lost all its glory. I struggled to get water and a towel. Basic cleanliness is not there. I strongly recommend avoiding staying here till they improve their standards. Please don't fall into the trap of smart deals they are offering

I booked to this hotel. My family including my 1 year old daughter stayed here during National Holiday. Once we enter the hotel I knew that there is something wrong. You will notice it on the sofas at the reception, not cleaned. Then in the room it was not cleaned at all. Dust are everywhere. Carpets are disgusting. Then i smelled the pillow, it smells sweat that it was not changed for how many days. Then i request for a new pillow case. It was freshly ironed BUT there are stains on the pillows specially pentelpen stains. About the breakfast buffet, the food is limited. This is the worst hotel I've ever been in UAE. it doesn't matter if the hotel is old or new, what matters is cleanliness & hygiene. I called the reception and ask if they are cleaning in the rooms then he told me "Did you leave the key card?". what is this, other hotels even you did not leave your key card once you leave for a while you will come back with a clean room. There's no towel and you just have to request. TO THE MANAGEMENT of this hotel kindly improve your service to your customers, we decided to stay out for our relaxation and peace not to be stressed.

It’s… fine. Just don’t stroll in expecting anything remotely extraordinary.
The service? Glacial. If you show up at the peak check-in hour (3 p.m.), prepare to age a little while you wait because you’ll be there for hours before a room materializes.

And once you finally get in, don’t be shocked when basic amenities like towels or toothbrushes are MIA. Thinking of calling to request them? Adorable. Good luck getting anyone to pick up the phone.

Most of the staff seem allergic to courtesy minus the rare 1–2 exceptions who somehow slipped through. Breakfast options for vegetarians are laughably limited, and if you dare ask for anything, expect a response served with an extra helping of attitude.

Now, to be fair, the room we got wasn’t the horror show some reviews described but it still wasn’t well-maintained, and definitely not worth the price tag.

If I had the option to give lower than 1 star, I would have given. From entry to reception… none of the reception staff were wearing name badges so that you couldn’t find their name to complain. The rooms were very basic for this price. No towels in washroom, no kettle, room had some stale smell. Upon sharing my feedback at reception to change the room, the response was highly passive, non-interested and non-customer friendly. At one side where this part of the world is extremely sensitive about superlative experience and hospitality, this hotel needs fundamental correction from their staff to service. Had I not paid in advance, I would have not never stepped into this hotel. WOULD NOT recommend to anyone who is spending money for relaxation and hospitality.

1. The bed matress was too fluffy . I woke up with stiff neck.
2. The shower was not working. Only 1 towel. No toiletries were kept in washroom. ( brush, toothpaste, conditioner)
3. Swimming pool was too deep. People with 5ft height cannot even stand in pool.
4. Pool and gym was open only till 8pm .. while we wanted to enjoy till 9 or 10pm … that was the leisure we were expecting.
5. Again it was open next morning 9am. We wanted to enjoy sunrise but it was closed..
