Reviews
(We booked on “last minute” and was the only thing affordable and available at that time)
First off when we arrived we were hit with 2 problems
1.Their card reader didnt work, they have told us that its because they are having troubles with “cards from Romania” even tho i have Revolut with a premium plan, we managed to withdraw some money under a 5 dollars commission which wasnt a problem, but i still believe that they are doing this to avoid paying taxes although its 2024 and almost no-one foreigner or not uses cards, but this wasnt our biggest problem yet, because even tho we paid for a parking spot they said they are full, up until 3 days later, which i later found out why, they said we can try a parking garage which we paid 60 Levs for 3 DAYS , how convenient right??????
When i asked for my money back for the parking they said i accepted on booking that if they and they didnt have spots to go somewhere else, they are the biggest scammers
The room was ghetto, if you we re telling me id have to stay in a soviet bulit like place for the money i paid for i would’ve laughed in your face. No clean sheets for 5 days on, the ladies we re just making the bed and leaving, and they didnt had no sign of “do not disturb” they woke us up 4 times almost every morning because we slept through the breakfast (we will get to this point in a short time)
The bathroom is really good for multitasking people if you re trying to po*p while taking a shower its fitting for you, but if your next door neighbor its using the bathroom you can do a nice ice shower.
Food: Im not a picky eater but when im in a foreign country i try to pay attention to where or what im eating.Thank God we got only breakfast package because otherwise we would waste even more money either on food places or stomach meds…
At breakfast was a buffet if you can call it that, hard boiled eggs, some butter which had a questionable color, the tomatoes we re dry as sand and hard as rocks, paper thin sliced salami and ham w either a normal taste or questionable, even the bacon tasted like it was cooked in 5 days old oil (which i believe everything was cooked all togheter) you get the idea of how was it, coffee from a vending machine which didnt work i saw people struggling to get their coffee so i took a pass on that, the orange juice tasted like tymbark sitting in the sun for a whole day, the only thing you couldve dranked was water (probably tap water)
Even the elevator was broken it kept on going to almost every floor if someone called it either if you were going up or down
The only reason i gave this place 1 star at best was because of the pool, it was warm most of the time, spotless at all time, the bar wasn’t expensive either mostly market price drinks which was good.
The administration is very friendly. We were checked into our room ahead of check-in time. Towels were changed every 3 days. The room was cleaned before checking in. We had only buffet breakfasts on the voucher, edible but monotonous. But when a lot of people coming at once in the dining-room, there were not enough portions for everybody.
The room is small. The mattresses are more or less comfortable. The air conditioning cools well. The bathroom is very small, there is no hair dryer. The drain in the shower is not very good, constantly clogged with sand. No tumble dryer on the balcony, had to buy string.
The hotel is in confrtable place. There are bus stop, cafee, shops. Cacao and Corona Beach are near 10 minutes to go. From the tenth floor we can see the sea and have a beautiful view. But in neighbouring bars music plays till night, very noisy.
- in the middle of the city
- the pool is nice
- the personal is ok.
Cons:
-the hotel is not renovate from a long time
- the sheets were not cleaned before we arrived from the last customer
-cable has only 6 posts
-at the breakfast they had the same food every day, and you did not have a lot to choose from
In conclusion, I'll never stay there again, it's a big difference between the booking pictures and the real thing.
Family run hotel no bells and whistles but left feeling very got about our visit.
There is always more food than we could eat. GREAT three star hotel.
You should try the full body massage at this hotel it is fantastic. Recommend you to trying to cut the price by 15-20 leva.
