Melia Sunny Beach Hotel: where do I start? I contacted the hotel ahead of our arrival with a couple of requests, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The trip was a surprise birthday present for my husband

I want to extend my gratitude to Peter and the rest of the team, who made my husband's birthday very special by providing champagne, a personalized card, flowers, and a cake for the celebration

When we arrived, the reception was busy, but Grabiella did her best to attend to everyone as quickly as possible, showing politeness and professionalism

This was our 1st time visiting this hotel. we had a pool view in block B. my beautiful friend told the hotel. and upon arrival we had 2 beautiful swans (made out of towels) with roses 🌹 on the bed

The stuff works very much so that tourists can have an enjoyable vacation. I admired that 🙏 Large apartments, clean pools, they even have a library 🙂, animation programs for all ages, good food & icecream 🍧

Food is quite nice and deffo tasty. Plenty of sun beds around the pool. Short walk to the beach ( did with a 1 yold and very doable). Overall good experience and would recommend

The pool is big and the children's pool with slides is a must. Walk through the rear gates of complex over a road and straight onto sand and sea

They cleaned it every day, changed the towels. We had a coffee machine and a tea kettle, which I liked. The pool was very big and there were some animation activities

The animation is in English, and even in the kids' club, everything is in English, despite the animators being Bulgarian, and even Bulgarian children are spoken to in English. The evening animation is always the same

I'll allow myself to comment on the good and bad aspects of the hotel. The good: The rooms are very quiet, and overall, it's not noisy. The pool and slides are very nice. The hotel's location is excellent

Pretty decent hotel with a swimming pool and a bar. Not far from the beach. The kitchen good. They're throwing a themed evenings. The paid WIFI.

The hotel is super! Food was always enough, even if coming at the end of all imposed with the mountain. To the beach: 100 m sunbeds free. Room cleaned every day, bed sheets every three days

Fine - very good hotel. Their loungers on the beach. Liked the themed evenings which are sometimes made in the dining room, with the décor and cuisine of different countries.

Best hotel in sunny beach, i am recommending to go there. Good food and also best location, only a few minutes from the beach and also the centre

Second year we have stayed here. Hotel is lovely , pool and entertainment is fab. Gaby, Lubo and Hris were brilliant. Friendly and always stopped to say hello

Bain marie was on, but no heat lamps from the gantry above. Our favourite part of the holiday was your animation team. Gabi and her team were very attentitive to all the guest old and young, everyone was included

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were very accommodating to our life with two small children. Even though this is Sunny Beach, it was very quiet in the room

We travelled as a very large family party. Majority of staff were very accommadating. Some staff members couldn't get drinks correct and gave you what they thought you were asking for

Upon checking out told us to hold onto bands for 2 more hours and have lunch and enjoy the complex bit longer. Staff made the trip more enjoyable especially the young girl at bar in lobby

The animators are very good and cheerful, they don’t let you get bored. And a big plus is the animation for children, our daughter was happy and had fun every day in the mini club and at the disco

Good place, good drinks :D, good foods, excellent programs, nice staff (Ali is my favorite). I will probably come back!

Checked into this hotel for a night and found staff so friendly from start to finish. Room basic but amazing shower and comfy beds. Free access to beach bar and beds on beach

Kept lovely and clean through out the hotel even the pool everyday Loads of sunloungers with 2 good size pools and a pool bar in the centre of them

Perfect for families with children as it is very much the offer is, everything is manageable and everything is clean. Even the toilets by the Pool are cleaned every 30 minutes. We come next year definitely again!

The room is quite large, I have a double bed and a single. I am all inclusive and the drinks are local products with real Coke zero or normal coke. The pool is large and the area clear

A little repetitive buffer,the rooms are not so modern,no free wifi, and a safty box costs 8 leva per day. The pool closes 18 a little early. Otherwise, the pool area is very nice

Was really nice holiday, sincerely I don't know why the rating is so low, it's perfect for family's, food is good, the room was clean and large. The children had a great time.

Stayed here for a week, found it a bit of a let down, the 2 slides are only on at certain times, hardly any staff speak English, Food is cold every night and not a great choice, and everyday during our stay approximately 50 kids turned up for some kind of summer camp about 3 times a day and filled half the pool which spoilt it for the kids who have paid to stay here

At the beginning of June our family had a great week at the hotel Planeta. The food in the restaurant was delicious, fresh and all tastes. Lots of meat and seafood dishes and lots of fresh fruits , vegetables and sweets

Also traditional Bulgarian dishes. The room was comfortable and clean, stuff friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time there ! P. Greetings to the guys at the pool bar !!!

This hotel Is good and funny, The room Is beauty and confortabile. And the pool Is good with the games room,spa and all. But the service isn't very good because they don't ask indication and don't give help at the people

The food was amazing, and the people who took care of the children were incredible. Many thanks to Laguna, the animators, the chefs, the housekeepers — everyone! We’ll definitely come again

Family of 6 - myself and partner, my parents and my 2 kids. Location 5/5 - can’t get any better unless you go for right on the beach front. 5-10 mins walk gets you to restaurants/bars/beach in either direction

If anything, it would be nice to see around the main pool areas getting hosed down maybe once or twice a week to ward off ants etc from spilled food/drink (relatively small issue)

Amazing family hotel with 5 star service. We had food allergies in the family but received excellent help and food to choose from. The staff is very friendly, and Mimi in the animations team makes every day extra

The various relaxation areas, including the indoor garden and pool, cater to different preferences. The drink selection is impressive, and the kids' club provides a fantastic space for children to play and socialize

It was extremely positive that we were able to check in and occupy the room by 11 am. An advice to make the experience even better: the bottom of the pools could be a bit cleaner

The outdoor pool is a bit cold in September, but the indoor pool is still hot and there is a sauna. The beach is about 3 minutes away, right next to the strip

The meals are as varied as possible, snack bar during the day plus breakfast, lunch and dinner. Surprisingly good quality of everything, sometimes the meat was raw though

Great hotel, very clean and tidy. Food is tasty, fresh and quite diverse. I like the pool and the fact that there are many sunbeds. It is a nice surprise that the drinks are actually very strong!

At the pool it is forbidden to reserve the sunbeds but people do it anyway. The staff members try to remove towels but not enough. We stayed 7 days but only managed to get a subbed at the pool 1 day

They serve almost the same everyday but that’s what you expect when booking all inclusive. The animations team is amazing and have been entertaining us the entire week

There was always very long line for food during lunch and dinner. The alcohol drinks were joke, it is just an alcohol with dye served in small plastic cups, which were everywhere glasses would be much more pleasant

This is a good place for both families, couples and friends. They do lots of activities and shows for everyone. The hotel, however, does seem too small to the amount of guests staying here

Beautifully renovated and a huge buffet. The food is tasty but doesn’t offer many healthy options. Everything seems to be either pizza, pasta, fried food or swimming in gravy

Very nice place to go with family. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Good food and very nice atmosphere during the time. The Flying Team are so good with children to organise their time. We had very good time .

The restaurant food is not catered for English guests and at best is Luke warm did try eating here twice and gave up , ended up eating out the rest of the week, pool bar staff are mostly good

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mena Palace Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish

The room had a washing machine - a first for us on holiday - meant I came home with literally no laundry as everything got washed and dried in the Bulgarian sun! The pools are great / slides perfect for kids, plenty of loungers (although some more comfortable that others) - and the animation team great

We flagged it and they continued to serve it to people! (The pool was significantly quieter the next day) like other mentioned there was no refilling of trays either - almost a once it’s gone it’s gone

Bed was broken, room was dusty. A lot of food but the same every day. Great location, close to beach, 3 pools with loads of chairs, very nice park, loads of plants

We’ve been to Bulgaria before and loved it- opted for this hotel this time because of the water slides (son aged 10) First impressions gave us the ick instantly hotel didn’t look as good as photos - but were frequent travellers so wasn’t put off at this and know that a holiday is what you make it

Getting into our room not so much- it was unclear from the card we were given what room we were actually in and after trying the various different room numbers written on the cardboard (yes there was multiple) it was back to reception to get some help

This made the hotel all the more frustrating as if all the restaurants were eating at was getting it right we couldn’t understand how the hotel was getting it so wrong! We were served raw chicken twice - and I’m talking large complete raw chunks
