Blue Horizon Hotel

Absolutely loved our stay at Blue Horizon Hotel. The location is ideal for a visit to Vancouver Downtown. We were extremely lucky to have been upgraded as my wife and I were visiting during our honeymoon. The room was spotless, functional and with great facilities. The bed was seriously comfortable and huge! The views from the upper floors were great too. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent experience here! Prime location, clean rooms, great views, added perk of a balcony AND with a bug screen so a rare hotel with fresh air flow while you sleep. All around perfect time here. The cleaning lady was so kind and lovely!

Nice place and friendly staff but the restaurant closes before lunch. Not too big of a deal since there are so many places within walking distance. Liked the filtered water dispensers but the water bottles were proced at $45 so didn't get one.

A 30 minute drive from the airport, the hotel is conveniently located in the tourist district of Vancouver. Open air parking is available and is less than $30CA per day. The hotel has excellent views of Vancouver in all directions. A well maintained pool and gym is available for guests. The free filtered water dispenser in the lobby is quite handy. A small eatery next to the lobby provides a decent breakfast. Meals are ok. But there are better options in the area. There is no self service laundry but you can find a decent one about 15 minutes walk through the neighbourhood. Ask reception for directions. Beds are reasonable and our room was spacious. It’s a good option as a 4 star hotel being near public transport and walking distance to the bay. You can find basic necessities in shops nearby if required. Staff were attentive and helpful when asked.

Very, very clean with surprisingly large rooms. Honestly, the friendliest desk staff I have ever met. Every room has a balcony with fantastic views. Right downtown with tons of restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. I have stayed here twice and will come back next time we visit Vancouver.

Much more enjoyable than any chain hotel I've stayed at. I loved that the rooms had good quality full soap and shampoo dispensers rather than small bars and bottles-it made it feel like home and we weren't worried about running out for our longer stay. Lots of storage for clothes and belongings. Location is perfect. It feels safe and is great for those who don't plan on driving. We walked for every meal, lots of options, even just across the street. Loved the chrome cast option on the TV. Also loved the water bottle refill in the lobby. By photos online, I was slightly concerned that the rooms would be older and less clean, but they felt very comfortable and clean, they just decided to give their rooms more personality than what a chain would do which I appreciate. Felt like one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at, if not the cleanest. Check in and check out was a breeze. I also got to check in early. Big fitness area and decent lap pool that didn't feel cramped when others were present. Overall I was extremely pleased with the hotel and was sad to leave! I'd love to stay here again and I'm sure I will.

Stayed at the Blue Horizon hotel the other week and it was a great experience. Checked in around 7pm and found the process to be seamless and hassle free, this was nice as I had just arrived from an international flight. Rooms were clean and spacious. The best thing about the hotel is the location, it is an easy walk to many sights and it is very easy to catch public transport from the area.
