I am in a full time wheelchair user. There are ramps in and around the property. I stayed in a Deluxe One-Bedroom Apartment and all doors are nice and wide with no steps. The bathroom was very spacious and although the apartment isn't a disabled room i had plenty of space to move around. i could wheel straight into the shower and i transfered onto a plastic patio chair , there are no hand rails around the shower or toilet but i managed to transfer on each without too much of a hassle.
Ayia napa is a very wheelchair friendly place, most pubs/restaurants have a ramp and toilet to access and the Black pearl boat trip is also wheelchair accessible (although i didn't go on it)
We booked a superior studio room, the room was big, the balcony was huge and it looked onto the pool. The shower was great too.
The room was cleaned every day.
I stayed 2nd week in October, it was still busy but it was quiet at night, this probably wouldn’t be the case in peak season.
The location is good, within walking distance of the centre of town and some of the smaller beaches. The bus stops nearby if you want to go further afield.
The only complaint I would have is the sun loungers at the pool, they are the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered.
We stayed at the pool the first 2 days and then our backs were so sore we went to the beach every day after that. Sun loungers are only €2.50 each at the beach which is amazing.
The food at the pool bar was basic but we were self catering so it didn’t bother us as we ate out every day. Sigma bakery is just down the road and it is excellent for breakfast and lunch.
Would definitely stay there again, also great price and nice breakfast
