Jacaranda Hotel Apartments in Protaras

The star rating is quite relative and here's why... On the main points: - there was no talk about sets of towels from the start: there was one small towel for two (for the feet or face, we couldn't figure out); - the light bulb above the bed burned out, creating discomfort during evening reading, at the reception they said "tumorrow" - they changed it only when I, apparently, had already become really annoying to them (I kept reminding them for 2-3 days); - on the fourth day a cockroach came - they called him Zhora, they didn't kill him; - during a WEEK of stay (in the rooms, which are a separate apartment - "bungalow") the floor was NEVER washed (they specially checked for dust particles and "markers" from a piece of cabbage for Zhora on the floor); - on the day of arrival, the linen really raised doubts: it smelled fresh, but was slightly hairy; - met fellow countrymen who lived in a building with separate rooms, they said that they had ants (I did not check the information and did not notice any insects except Zhora); - when a lot of people come to "graze" on the Wi-Fi in the common hall - it becomes impossible to use the Internet; - in response to most of the problems described above, the reception slyly said "tumorrow" and pretended not to know any languages at all (sign language, apparently, too). On the plus side: - there were no questions about the food: edible, tasty, got boring after a week, but it was still possible to diversify; - about cleanliness there were no issues with the pool either, they cleaned it regularly. Bottom line: You can sleep, wait out the heat by the pool, wash yourself - in this hotel. And not die of hunger. But if you expect a high level of service, then this is definitely not the place. Shops are nearby... There was no huge difference in prices with a large chain store in the depths of Protoras (we spent more on restoring energy with food after the walk =D). P.S.: Don't forget to take an adapter for European sockets) Warm sea and clear skies to you!

Worst experience ever. No electric appliances in the room. The fridge was losing water in the first five minutes of arrival and they had to fix it. TV took me back in 80s when the antenna signal had to be recalibrated to have a clear picture. The building seems an abandoned place.I'm still here just to share some happyness with my children as in a few days schools are opening and we haven't been able to have any holidays this summer. But I do really feel that my choice for this place was completely wrong.
