Reviews
First and foremost - this is NOT a safe hotel, and I say this as a well-built man.
A dispute over a 20 euro phone bill apparently justifies the manager in using threats, assault and damage of property. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and never been grabbed or had a fist raised at me like I have here. No amount of money justifies this, especially not a measly 20 euros.
In all my years of traveling, I can say with certainty this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
1. The room was unclean on arrival, with rubbish on the floor, including somebody’s used tissue.
2. The aircon was useless, and if anything seemed to make an already hot room hotter. The balcony door was stuck shut and couldn’t open.
3. No hot water - not as much of an issue in summer, but you still feel dirty and unclean.
4. Staff were not only rude and unhelpful, but seem to treat paying guests with disdain. I got into a situation with my bank where I couldn’t access my money, and the man at the counter, when trying to use the phone to call out - clearly alone and desperate and in need of help at 2:30am - was rude and dismissive, and couldn’t seem to fathom the concept of customer service.
I note others have listed the same issues in their reviews also - namely the aircon, the dirt and conditions of the rooms, the hot water. Overall, a very negative impression, and I would recommend to anyone to avoid this place. Horrible customer service, poor quality.

Edited to add: I note the owner has replied to my review (after initially trying and failing to have it removed). Respond I must!
◾️Note how they don’t deny grabbing and manhandling customers.
◾️Their claim of me damaging the room is a blatant lie - if anything the room was nicer after I left, after picking up the rubbish left on the floor from previous guests. I can provide photos if need be.
◾️Another lie is the claim of me crossing the buffer zone illegally (?) - my next destination was actually Larnaca so I’m not sure where they got their info from.
To the owner - if you spent your time improving your hotel and service instead of spouting rubbish on google, maybe you’d have more a 3 star rating? Inform whoever you like, I won’t be back!
Outside the hotel everywhere is boarded up or bricked up .
Hotel was clean, with comfy beds and a great breakfast. Would stay again.
We've asked for late check out and to pay it because we would run for the marathon and we didn't know what time will finish and we'd like to have a shower before the check out. But the receptionist denied it and then asked for extra one day in order for us to have the room for only one hour. Certainly we denied it too because we don't have 90eur to spend like this.
