Very kind and professional staff. Great quality breakfast and diner in the restaurant of the hotel. You have a lot of options, (also as a vegitarian and if you don't drink alcohol there are a lot of alternatives).
The wellness is excellent and it is just a short walk to the city centre.

Very friendly staff. Wellness area optically nice, but often not properly in function (sauna not warm, steam bath cold benches) and for others eventually okay , but around 26 degrees for the pool having massage jets is at least 4 degrees to low for me, If the wellness area would be as good feeling as it looks, I would also come back privatly and not only for business.

A lovely hotel- full of grandeur. Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful.
Location - easy 10 min walk into city.

Nice hotel on the outside of Aachen. Beautiful old building but the rooms are also a bit outdated. Spacious enough and very clean though. Parking below ground costs 16€ per day and when the hotel is fully booked I can see it being a bit too small.

Beautiful hotel with worldly charm.
This is our 3rd stay and we enjoyed it just as much as the previous 2, if not more. The renovations in the lounge and hallway areas are fantastic and a big improvement.
On a lesser note we had a small incident in the restaurant where a mouse was running back and forth under the table. We quickly moved away to the front of the restaurant. We understand it is a very old building but even so this is something we don’t want to experience when dining. For this reason was give the overall score of 9.

Hi, the hotel and rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. In the swimming pool too less beds were available to relax and really enjoy the pool. The diner at the restaurant is not of a high quailty what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. You can better go to the Aachen centrum for dinner, it is cheaper and better quality. The employees in the restaurant are totally disorganized and are not well informed on for example allergies. All in all an okay stay, but do not use the restaurant. Compared to other 5 stars hotel, this is on the lower end.

It’s a beautiful hotel with lovely staff, and I can whole-heartedly recommend a stay here.
- the bed is extremely comfortable. We sank into the pillows and didn’t want to leave again, ever. 😉
- the towels! Had I ever considered stealing towels, which I didn’t, it would’ve been those: thick, lush, luxurious. They were just perfect.
- the little details in the bathroom - the toiletries - everything is of high quality. And OMG the shower - they do have a proper waterfall shower.
- the staff is lovely. When stranded after a gig at a venue in Wuerselen and not being able to get a taxi, the hotel managed to send one to pick us up.
- the breakfast! Delicious and, again, of high quality.
- I caught Covid while being there, and the staff did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely be back when we’re able to fully enjoy this beautiful hotel.

Lovely, older but grand property close to inner city as well as CHIO. Staff was exceptionally pleasant. Room was large and comfortable, not the most modern but had a lot of character and old world charm. Delicious breakfast and lovely outdoor terrace. Spa was very nice and reasonable for a hotel spa. I will definitely book here again!

Excellent hotel! Not near the city centre, you’ll have to walk for about 15 minutes, but we knew that when we booked our room. There’s a garage for maybe 20 cars, but also an outside parking lot. The gardens around the property are beautiful and the building itself is also imposing in a majestic way.
Our room was wonderful (307): very big, comfortable and clean. There’s also a mini balcony if you want fresh air. We had 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub (which unfortunately had the valve system broken) and one with a huge shower (so, not really an issue, the bathtub, and the staff tried to fix it). The provided toiletries were also of good quality.
Since the hotel was a little far from the centre and we were tired from our daytime trips, we decided to have dinner at the hotel twice and we were glad we did, as the restaurant was wonderful. The food was also delicious and the staff very, very friendly but professional.
The breakfast buffet was also generous.

Hotel or palace? The architecture, the size of the rooms, the decoration, a big "wow!"
Oversized room, large closets, real desk, safe, coffee maker... staff (reception, maintenance, service) at the top, equipment (pool, gym, sauna, rest room...) well beyond some hotels of the same price (the photos of the site are very realistic!), the breakfast is gargantuan, if the weather is nice, breakfast on the terrace with view on the park makes a great start in the day.
