Where to stay in Frankfurt am Main

I spend a night at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel just to have the convenience that I won't have to rush myself in the morning for going to the airport. What should I say, it was the best desicion ever. Although it was a relatively short stay, I felt very comfortable and taken care of. Nice, easy walk to/from Terminal 1. My only criticism is that some bathrooms still have "high wall" tubs, with no handholds. I am an older guy with balance issues and almost fell getting in and out. On my next stay, they provided me with a room having a safer, walkin shower. Breakfast is great, both in lounge and restaurant. Staff were great. Definitely, would stay again.

Platinum and above members Can Only have their breakfast at the Lounge which has lesser choice of variety of foods. You do not have access to the standard restaurant for breakfast. Perfect location! Easy access to many places to eat and the train station. On site, there's 3 places you can eat without even leaving the hotel. The rooms are clean and secure. Great location and grateful for the free shuttle. Check in was fairly quick although there was only one counter open when we got there. The room is on the smaller side but it's ok for one night. Air conditioner is not very efficient and it's quite warm and stuffy in the room although everything seems to be clean. I got booked into this hotel when my flight was canceled. The room was comfortable, the location is very good. Not walking distance to terminals but there is a shuttle 24/7 every 20 mins 00, 20 and 40s. The service and staff was in general good, but some were a bit slow. Stopped here for the football. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Spent most of our hotel time in the bar. The bar staff are brilliant. So friendly and accommodating, we had a great laugh with them. The area is a little sketchy, but nothing like the British press had led us to believe.

Once you get checked in, the experience is OK, but you might have to wait a while to get checked in. The bar in the hotel closes at 10 pm , which I thought was a bit early. The room was small but functional, and the breakfast was quite good. The room was very quite, despite being over a major transportation hub.

Great, chilled ambient central lobby which is a great place to chill. Rooms were also lovely. Perfect for a business trip. The only one downside was the loud music from the club on the first floor, but honestly I don't think it's enough for me to reduce my rating to 4 stars.

Well appointed, centrally located hotel. Nice comfortable room, immaculately cleaned. Breakfast was excellent with good tasty fresh food choices. Gym associated to hotel was busy and pool occasionally quite full, but a minor complaint. Breakfast and reception staff pleasant and helpful, especially Selina who checked us both in and out.

We had a fantastic stay here in Sep 2021. The room was well appointed, clean, and modern. The bathroom is quite large by European standards. Exceptional service. Valet parking only for 30+ euros a day but that is standard for the area. Perfect location on a small park if you are traveling with a dog.

Absolutely amazing hotel! Great value, there is ongoing construction at the moment but I didn't feel it, though I was on the top floor. Service can be hit or miss but generally on the good side! My first visit to Frankfurt and it was unforgettable and full of beautiful memories. Very good location, only a couple of minutes walk to Wily Brandt underground station, and right in front of the hotel there is a tram station, taking you to Central train station or inner city. Also within a 5 minute walk to the old city. The hotel and the room were both spotless clean.

The hotel is conveniently located to shopping, sights, the river and the business district. While not large, rooms are fair-sized and well designed.
