Reviews
The situation was further exacerbated during breakfast when a waitress rudely pointed at my wife and yelled at her because our 4-year-old daughter accidentally dropped an egg on the floor. We were still at the table, and our intention was to clean it up after we finished eating. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from the staff was shocking and completely ruined our meal.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. The absence of essential amenities and the poor treatment from the staff left a lasting negative impression on our family vacation. Save your money and look elsewhere.
The old town and St Mang museum is within walking distance. The hotel (as with all other hotels in Fussen) provide a transportation card which cover free bus transfer from the bus terminal (outside the train station) to the Castles' ticket center, which is just 10-15 minutes from Fussen. The bus schedule is available from the reception upon request. Taxi is also quite cheap and a good option if between 2 - 3 persons. Taxi stand is near train station as well.
The room are of average size though the toilet is quite small. Breakfast is also average but adequate. May be quite crowded.
Take note that you need to hang the "Clean Room" sign on the door daily, if not the room may not get tidy up.
Will be a good option for travelers staying just for 1 or 2 nights with plan to visit the castle due to the close proximity to the train station and bus terminal.
卫生:ok
环境:ok
服务:very good
This day was amazing. The service was top notch. The room was super comfortable.
Also, while the first receptionist was really nice, the 2nd receptionist was quite rude. Additionally, they didn't tell me about the sauna area at all at check in, I just figured it out by myself afterwards.
However, the location, and the cost of this place was pretty good. The gym next to the sauna is accessible, and it was really well equipped! The included breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety.
No fridge
No ice
No air conditioning..tough with 84F weather
Dated (but clean) furniture and carpet
Parking garage smells of urine
Rather pricey given its amenities, probably only because it is just down road from castles and next to train and bus depot. If you are by car, go 10 miles further and look for better accommodations at lower prices.
