I'm not sure if I would call this a 4 star hotel - maybe a 3 star? The bathroom looked pretty old, and they literally gave me just 1 set of towels... weird thing to skimp out on, is this a hostel? I did like the layout of the room, but the bed was hard and the sheets were scratchy. The room also did get quite hot, so I had to have my window open, but since it was a large window with access to the balcony, I was a bit concerned about safety as a single female traveler. They have a luggage storage area, but anybody can walk in and grab things, which I thought was a bit unsafe.
Also, while the first receptionist was really nice, the 2nd receptionist was quite rude. Additionally, they didn't tell me about the sauna area at all at check in, I just figured it out by myself afterwards.
However, the location, and the cost of this place was pretty good. The gym next to the sauna is accessible, and it was really well equipped! The included breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety.

The room is ok. There are very few electrical outlets. We traveled for 16 days mostly in Germany. A couple days in Vienna ( which was fabulous). This was the only hotel where the service at the reception was very bad!!! He was not friendly or helpful. I asked for help getting to the Zugspitz he looked at me like I was asking a crazy question. I asked him for local hikes and he handed me a map with no explanations. Then, when we checked in, he gave us a public transportation pass that we could have used earlier. They were the only hotel out of 9 different hotels we stayed at that wouldn't let us check in a couple hours early. They didn't offer to store our luggage either. We were warmly welcomed everywhere else, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Neuenkirchen, Marburg, Trier, Haslach. Fussen was the only place where we encountered rude service, specifically the Luitpoldpark Hotel.

This is almost a 3 star hotel by American standards BUT
No fridge
No ice
No air conditioning..tough with 84F weather
Dated (but clean) furniture and carpet
Parking garage smells of urine
Rather pricey given its amenities, probably only because it is just down road from castles and next to train and bus depot. If you are by car, go 10 miles further and look for better accommodations at lower prices.

This is our second 2 nights stay.
We choose it mainly because of the location.
What could be improved?
• Improved ventilation in the room
• Better WiFi
• English TV channels
• Even better TV, which would allow us to stream our favorite movies from our mobiles.
• And, yes, please expose the plug points... These days 2 people needs to charge their phones at night 😆

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel! The room was very large and the windows opened up to the view of the mountains.
It's conveniently located - the train station is less than a 2 minute walk, close to shopping and restaurants, and the staff is A++.
The breakfast is included and it was probably one of the best breakfast spreads we experienced in Bavaria.
Try out the restaurant for dinner while you're here - it was excellent!
I'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Room and bed is clean and good.
Staff is friendly and nice.
Location is super. Just a stone throw away from train station and bus terminal! The old town is also very near.
The light to the corridor is run under motion sensor to safe energy, so it might be a little dark while walking back at dark, I hope the lights could be better lit. this is something the hotel should consider changing.
Will come back and stay here again if I come back again. Would also recommend this place!

Excellent hotel right in the centre of town. Good dinner and breakfast options. Lots of room choices including very large suites if you want them. Helpful, engaging staff. They have a sauna and also an underground secure car park.

Omg! I found the best dish ever. If I weren’t leaving Füssen tomorrow, I’d be back for every meal. I got the Flamkuchen and my hubby got the Currywurst. Both were terrific! The little Biergarten is so cute and the service is fantastic.
The only thing missing is a huge “we are open” sign out front. They are open during the afternoon when most places are closed. It is cute, great service and amazing food. They need to advertise since they are a bit off the street!

Way too hot. Location is central so that’s good. Outdated rooms. The building looks nice but that’s about it. Service is really good and the people are are all nice. Expensive for no real reason

The hotel looks beautifull but its skin deep. The rooms are a smelly sauna smelling of wet dog and never cooling down. The hotel had too little fans for all the rooms and no airco. Diner is verry limited due to lack of personal and not allowed to sit outside so enjoy more heat in the dining sauna. Do not go here it ruined the end of my holliday
