Location is a bit out from the city center, but there is a station close by which is only a 10 minute commute! There is a supermarket near by, but not much else to be doing in the area. Decent kitchen, but mildly frustrating having to pay a 20€ deposit everytime you need a pot/pan/plate/fork, but no big deal at the end of the day.

For the price it was actually pretty good - very cheap - but were the hostel was its a no go - we got a room in the 8th floor & took the stairs because the elevator was to slow and small But for the room it was only ok - the room was pretty modern and big - on the ground was stained blood - there was no wardrobe to put clothes in - I had to do myself the bed sheeting - there was no amenities...

Good value for money and very conveniently located. Plenty of street parking is usually available in the surrounding area. It's a short 15-minute walk to the East Side Gallery, where you can see the 'Fraternal Kiss' mural. The property has three buildings, so make sure to ask the front desk which one your room is in before you head up, to save yourself an unnecessary walk.

The hotel was really gut for the amount of money that was spent! Ist provided a very filling breakfast and the rooms were big enough for a family of three! We were pleasantly surprised by this place , it was a last minute decision! The bed was big and the showers were clean!

Greatest location. Room spotlessly clean. For the money good value. Staff were very friendly and super helpful in every way. Slight gripe was air con wasn’t quite able to cope with the 37 degree heat but heat was extreme and it did work. For a budget hotel you cannot go wrong. Easy check in and got me in a room at 10.30am! It was a good thing to be able to book a room at the exhibition. The facilities are budget hotels, which are different from those in China, such as no hair dryer. The breakfast is also average, with few varieties. This is what budget hotels in Europe are like. But the front desk staff are very good, very enthusiastic and friendly.

It was close to the station. It's also convenient that there is a large supermarket next door. It would have been nice if there was a refrigerator in the room.

This hotel is very close to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. Even though the room is small, it’s quite and enough for a single man. In addition, the front desk guy is very nice. He introduced me where to visit in Hamburg and lent me the charger for my phone! Perfect!

Great location close to main railway station and despite the usual clientele around railway stations it is well policed and safe. I must come in that this is a lovely very clean and very welcoming hotel and you won’t go far wrong booking in here especially if you deal with the reception manager Ayub who is fantastic and speaks perfect English and you’d be hard pushed to find about a hotel manager.

Had the cheapest room, the room was good quality. Check in was fast and simple. Only stayed for one night and had to leave before breakfast service started so didn't get to try that.

My partner and I recently stayed here. It was our first trip to hamburg. The staff are friendly, the rooms are what you require for a sight seeing trip. Clean and beds are comfortable. I've been going to this hotel for a number of years and I just love the old style. I also see how much passion, energy and love the family puts into this hotel. The hotelier also takes great care of the hotel guest and is always available for advice and action. We stayed for a night between changing trains. The location was great from the train station and it is next to a small square with plenty of eating options. Rooms was bigger than expected. Ours had a small desk and even a sofa. The room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and hopefully longer. This is a place that you can easily stay in for a longer stay.

Nice and welcoming, young lady at reception was very nice and helpful. Beds are comfy. Penny store across the road. Only thing that spoils it is the noise! Creaky floor, echoing voices from rooms and corridors, loud music from down stairs before 7am, traffic notice (sort of get used to it).

Breakfast for €12.90 is not acceptable at all. The staff do not want any extraordinary communication. When you leave the hotel in the morning, they do not ask how you are. We are used to something different. Dirty towels are left on the floor in every hotel. That means... they can no longer be used. Unfortunately, they were always hung up again. Not very pleasant, as you do not know what your partner...

Situated 20 minutes walk from the Reeperbahn and easily accessible from the airport by train. The hotel is connected to the Best Western and shares the same entrance. Room was of a decent size and comfort. There's was a bit of noise from the train station in the mornings. Staff were polite. Excellent value.
