The location of the hotel was perfect! Everything was very clean and tidy, but the best thing was the instalations and the staff that was always so friendly and polite, especially Mai!

I dont see anything wrong with this place. Rooms were good, bathroom was good, maybe a little small, but it is a big city. Shower was also decent. Beds were good and the rooftop was also great. Price was also fair and breakfast was decent. Most of the time the place was quiet, someone were up in the middle of the night and were a little loud, but some staff told them to keep it quiet. The hostel offers a charming blend of modern comfort and welcoming atmosphere with clean rooms, and I must commend Omar ,his warmth and efficiency at the reception were remarkable, creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. Staff were helpful. Their facilities and tech could be updated, there was a long wait time to just be able to change from a mix dorm to an all female dorm. Some rooms had more room than others. Fairly basic, the clue is in the name, but brand new and clean as a hospital. Very limited breakfast, and had to ask for an iron at the reception. Also reception often not staffed, but very comfy beds, very good shower. Great for the money

For a budget hotel, theres literally nothing more you could want. The rooms are clean and have plenty of power ports all over the room. A family of three visiting a friend in Hamburg. For our budget this hotel was great. Good location, ease to walk into old town and to tube stations. Our room was on the first floor looking out to a green communal garden. It was quiet, clean and fit for purpose. Staff were friendly and great places to eat very close by.

It is what it is. The bed was comfortable and the pillows no worse than usual for Germany. Coming from the UK, the water pressure in the compact shower was excellent. The room was quiet, the aircon worked and the windows also opened. The staff were friendly and happy to supply towels and pillows upon request. Not a 5 star experience, but it was as expected.

Receptionists were nice and helpful. -One downside was a bad tidiness in hotel room and on the hallway. -Breakfast was decent. -Perfect location especially for tourists (close to Reeperbahnstraße) We did stay at three person room for 4 nights. Felt more like a youth hostel with the bunk beds. Never had a shower in the same room with a bed before. It's ok for sleeping, but the beds were hard as hell. As such sleeping comfort was lacking.

The overall experience was good. Easy check in, staff was friendly, room was clean and cosy. The nearest bus stop is 1 minute away. The breakfast is not impressive and paying 10 euros per night for breakfast was not worth it, there was a small breakfast window and the queue was long and also Breakfast options were very limited. Nearly center train station and there are Turkish restaurant in the street. Hotel normally condition for 3 stars in Europe standarts. Price normally 50 euro as per day for Sunday.

This hotel is very close to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. Even though the room is small, it’s quite and enough for a single man. In addition, the front desk guy is very nice. He introduced me where to visit in Hamburg and lent me the charger for my phone! Perfect!

Functional basic hotel beside central railway station. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great location close to main railway station and despite the usual clientele around railway stations it is well policed and safe. Rooms are basic as reflects the price but are spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Recommended for people on a budget.

Basic lodgings in need of a revamp

Simple hotel with small, clean, comfortable rooms. Nothing special but budget friendly, well located and staff is very nice and welcoming.

We liked our stay at Hotel B&B Hamburg Nord. Room was clean and we felt welcome. Free parking area near hotel was nice. Breakfast room felt more or or less oldfashioned, still the breakfast itself was pretty much ok. U-bahn was nearby, it was easy to visit city center.

Excellent hotel, a little pricey for its value, as I paid 124 euro for one room with two seperate beds a night plus breakfast, but it is very clean, quiet, and its location with the 9 euro train ticket was perfect. They have their own private free parking, which is a huge plus in the beautiful Hamburg. I would think about renting it again, if I am ever in Hamburg.

Small rooms, with nothing more than you absolutely need. The bathroom was small and the showerdoor had an opening on the bottom, so that water leaked on the floor.

Very nice hotel! The room was spacious and clean. There was an elevator. The parking was big - one needs a ticket from the reception although it is for free. The guy at the reception was very nice. Overall, great experience, and would love to stay there again.

Spent a week in Hamburg using this as our base to sleep and have breakfast. Close to everything you need to entertain a family, and within walking distance of trains, tubes and buses serving the whole city. Staff are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and always willing to help. Your standard b&b hotel with clean comfortable beds. One thing that was extra good though is that was really quick to check in and out since you can get the code to your room via text. All in all a good experience if youre only spending the night in hamburg.

There are no flights during the night because the airport is not allowed to have planes start or land when people want to sleep. It's amazing how near the airplanes get; they fly right above your head so you can get some exciting shots from the hotel. Staff was nice and breakfast not bad either if you consider price and location. The airport is very close and the next bus stop is just down the sidewalk

The room was charming and really clean. The breakfast buffet is really good too, good quality of food, even though there wasn't a big variaty. We strongely recommend this hotel. The only disadvantages, there was a lot of light on the room in the morning, and we would have rather individual beds.

I stayed there for two nights. The room wasn’t cleaned after first night, so all towels were wet and stank of damp. Breakfast costs 12.90€, but nothing to eat, literally. Only coffee and bread.

Cons: The word Breakfast in B&B is not actually justified. Too limited breakfast options to call it a Buffet. No freid eggs and bacon for Breakfast!? From the beginning my whole stay was smooth. The self checking process works great. The room was confortable and I slept really well, perfectly fitting my needs.

My partner and I recently stayed here. It was our first trip to hamburg. The staff are friendly, the rooms are what you require for a sight seeing trip. Clean and beds are comfortable. The hotel is away from the main centre but easily accessible... Should we return to hamburg (and I hope we do) we would most certainly stop at the Bridge inn again

I've been going to this hotel for a number of years and I just love the old style. I also see how much passion, energy and love the family puts into this hotel. The hotelier also takes great care of the hotel guest and is always available for advice and action. We stayed for a night between changing trains. The location was great from the train station and it is next to a small square with plenty of eating options. Rooms was bigger than expected. Ours had a small desk and even a sofa. The room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and hopefully longer. This is a place that you can easily stay in for a longer stay.

Nice reciption at the beginning. The room was kind of small but functional. You can get 24/7 into the hotel without any problems through the chip at the key. All in all a perfect room for small money

Nice and welcoming, young lady at reception was very nice and helpful. Beds are comfy. Penny store across the road. Only thing that spoils it is the noise! Creaky floor, echoing voices from rooms and corridors, loud music from down stairs before 7am, traffic notice (sort of get used to it).

The Ibis Hamburg hotel was truly amazing! The breakfasts were delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was incredibly pleasant. But what made my stay even more special was Tanaz. Not only was she very kind and professional, but she also explained the hotel details and the address I asked for in the clearest and most beautiful way possible.

Not too far to walk or train it from most places you’d probably want to visit in the city. Rooms were clean. Breakfast reasonable. They refused to fill our water bottle on the day we left for the airport. Reputationally odd to do that knowing it will leave such a bad feeling (and review!).

I have no complaints about this hotel, the room was small, but I loved the smart and comfortable design, with the bunk bed over the double bed. Everything ease, smooth, clean, and comfortable. For the price it was perfect! Comfy bed, air-conditioned, hot shower - that's all I wanted! Staff was friendly and helpful. There's a restaurant and bar with limited choices. Unfortunately they don't have a shuttle bus anymore. 15min walk or €8 with a taxi.

Comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast. If arrive later than 11pm the shuttle service has stopped and you must walk. Not a long walk however can be tricky to find.

The phone for the hotel bus is in the information centre terminal one from here phone the hotel then make your way to the airport plaza one floor up between terminal one and two then short ride to hotel which is clean tidy and looks well maintained large shower

We stayed one night in this hotel on our way through Germany. The rooms are big enough, nice and clean. The breakfast is great, and with the service from Gundula this is as close to 5 as it gets. Thank you for a great stay!!
