Hotels in Hamburg were expensive during my stay, and this was no exception. I did not see before I booked that to access the hotel you have to walk 100 stairs up from the harbour side station. That or go to another station and walk past a homeless hostel near the Reeperbahn where lots of men were sitting drinking and waiting for the hostel to open. Nice hotel even if quite expensive. No coffee machine or water boiler in the room. No phone in the room to call reception in case of need (only one in the corridor for every floor). Room keys got de-magnetized twice during my stay and I was blamed it was my fault because putting the key close to the mobile phone. It's an incredible location in Hamburg with a staff always willing to help. However, the room lacked an electric kettle, which I'm just used to being in a hotel room, and neither the HDMI nor the casting worked on the TV. Minor details, but very important for some. All that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

This is a perfectly practical Hotel, a bit off the beaten track, but only a 15-20 min walk from the more central places o f Hamburg. The quarrell you migh have is that the aircondition was sub par, particularly considering the hot days/evenings of July. Breakfast was good, but crazy crowdy after 9 (first day), but almost empty pre-8.

Huge mistake. We choose this place with friends to spend couple nights during Euro2024. Unfortunately it was a huge mistake. The bed is comfortable - that’s all of the pros list. We had a nice stay, everything was super clean. We found the room a bit small for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids). Sofa bed wasn’t made so we called reception and someone came within 5MINS to fix this for us. We found the breakfast very expensive (78€ for 2 adults 2 children). Surprisingly, Holiday Inn Hamburgh was a perfect place which is 15 minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes to the city center. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. Great food also for breakfast and tasty crispy chicken burger.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel for a good price. It is a bir far from the city center, but don’t worry, because you can easily take the bus 5 to Hbf or change to subway U3 to reach popular spots. I can recommend this hotel as a solo traveler.

Mixed review The team and service is fantastic They were also able to have me back after my flight got cancelled and team was so nice I realize this is very personal and different for everyone. Unfortunately for me their bed is very hard and pillows very soft. Again their team is amazing but in the end you come to a hotel to sleep 💤

During check-in waited for 30+ minutes. 2 employees helping one group check-in rather than help the rest. During check out waited 15+ minutes. Maybe they still use hieroglyphs in their computer system. And the pillows were just glorified blankets rolled up in a ball.

Good hotel - good location for Eppendorf, room meets all requirements for a great stay

Location: Bus stop in front of the hotel. You can reach the central station in half an hour. The hotel is quite clean, though the hotel itself is a bit old. The design of the bedside lamp is very uncomfortable. It’s not on the side but at the back of the bed. You may hurt your head or back if you want to leaning. We don’t have the time to enjoy the sauna or fitness so nothing to share about this.

The location was great. There was a metro line next to the hotel, and you appear in the city center in 5-6 minutes. The service was good, the receiptionists were very kind and aupportive. This is a five star city hotel that meets the test of a five star city hotel. Rooms were clean, quiet, well appointed. The breakfast was very good indeed and if you are into these things the bar downstairs was frightfully cool. It was not a place I want to come back to (the weather was ordinary) but if you have to stay in Hamburg for work there is nothing wrong with place.

Favourite hotel in Hamburg! Having stayed in this hotel more than 5 times, I can truly say, that this is the BEST hotel in Hamburg. Love the decor, the spacious rooms, the ambiance, the food (breakfast is amazing) and the service is also really good. Very centrally located. The local Tortue Christmas market in the courtyard in December is a must! Coming back again soon.

The room are fantastic, nice design and modern style. The hotel, bar and restaurant are also with a nice design and style. Staff is friendly. The only suggestion that I can give is to increase the intensity of light in the room, the light are to soft that to looking inside my baggage I used the torch of my phone.

It's located around 30 minutes away with public transportation from the city center. The hotel was very clean and neat. Although the room was small, they provided a wardrobe to store our belongings, a television, a safe box, and a small fridge filled with drinks. I booked 10 rooms for our Princess Tour while we were in Hamburg. The hotel was nice, and clean as one would expect. My room - supposedly a massive upgrade, was very loud, as it was facing the main street. However, when checking out I was sort of attacked by the front desk lady as I had left one of my room key cards in my room. She made me go back and get it - as otherwise, she would penalize me....

Good hospitality... The hotel is near to airport.. so it's convenient... The hotel restaurant is open only for, breakfast n dinner.

The rooms were luxurious and room service was there every day, cleaning up perfectly. Only the Internet and WiFi really sucked. When it worked, it took ages to connect and once connected, the connection has huge packet loss and latency. Fastest speed we got was 4mbit/s down. It is powered by m3connect.

Its a bit dated in the furniture etc but staff and running of the place is excellent. Good location and nice common areas. Wifi is poor and rooms are small. Fine for one person but might be a squeeze with two (or more..) Avoid rooms on the ground floor as they are next to the bar.
