We really liked this hotel. Very convenient location: near the railway station. Friendly staff. A large room with comfortable beds, a coffee machine and, which was very important for us, a bathroom where we could relax after a tiring journey. A wonderful breakfast with a rich selection. The cook even made an omelet especially for us. We will be happy to come back here again.

Wanted to enjoy myself at this hotel and it was amazing! The room was big, we requested for a room with 4 guests and they had a sofa bed prepared for us aside for the king size bed. The toilet was amazing as well as it was very big! It was very worth the money!

The hotel location is quite a bit distance away from nearest bus stop or train station. Do your homework before decide staying here as bringing luggage is not that convenient. We stayed in the hotel for two nights. A baby bed was arranged at the last minute. The hotel location is near to the bus stop and SBahn.The rooms were clean and there was timely housekeeping services. The hotel has variety of breakfast for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.

Nice Hotel, but few people working at the reception desk have very impolite behavior in front of Hotel guests! It's an incredible location in Hamburg with a staff always willing to help. However, the room lacked an electric kettle, which I'm just used to being in a hotel room, and neither the HDMI nor the casting worked on the TV. Minor details, but very important for some. Nice spacious clean hotel. It is close to the U Bahn for easy access to downtown Hamburg. The rooms were very quiet even with a railway outside the window. There is an Aldi close by if you need some extra snacks.

Exceptional service, clean rooms, friendly multi-lingual staff! Interior decor is warm and welcoming however the bar is on a lower level than the overall service and management should hire a bit more staff because they’re often overwhelmed but it’s recommended for a couple of nights and the area is relatively calm.

Dissapointed that 1 elevator didn't worked even after 4 days

The room are fantastic, nice design and modern style. The hotel, bar and restaurant are also with a nice design and style. Staff is friendly. The only suggestion that I can give is to increase the intensity of light in the room, the light are to soft that to looking inside my baggage I used the torch of my phone.

Lovely hotel if you're young and up to date with IT. I found the room dark and cold. The staff were efficient, but unfriendly. The exception was when we ate in the restaurant, the waiter(s) were excellent.

Our stay started on a Monday. The hotel is very modern looking and had a lot of funk to it. The staff wasn't very friendly, day or night staff. You had to send an email to obtain an iron. While they responded quickly, it certainly wasn't convenient to find the website and then send an email to house services. The East Experience is spectacular! Very nice concept, great staff and amazing interior deco. Rosario is an amazing host! Only weak spot is the indication in the underground car park. We took the elevator in U2 and had to walk 600m with luggage after a 600km drive. Having clear signage of which elevator to take would have made this stay heavenly!

The Barcelo is located about 5 minutes walk from the main train station but in a quiet area. The rooms themselves are very clean, ultra modern and elegantly decorated in light colours. Nice hotel, very new, perfectly clean. Comfortable bed, well insulated doors and windows and therefore no noise listened while sleeping or in the morning. Very comfortable and quiet hotel for a good price. It is a bir far from the city center, but don’t worry, because you can easily take the bus 5 to Hbf or change to subway U3 to reach popular spots. I can recommend this hotel as a solo traveler.

This is a perfectly practical Hotel, a bit off the beaten track, but only a 15-20 min walk from the more central places o f Hamburg. The quarrell you migh have is that the aircondition was sub par, particularly considering the hot days/evenings of July. Breakfast was good, but crazy crowdy after 9 (first day), but almost empty pre-8.

Huge mistake. We choose this place with friends to spend couple nights during Euro2024. Unfortunately it was a huge mistake. The bed is comfortable - that’s all of the pros list. No kettle to make coffee or tea in hotel room, even not a free bottle of water! You can choose water from minibar for 5€. Coffee in the lobby at 12:00? Impossible… Main restaurant is closed after breakfast, and lobby bar starts...

We had a nice stay, everything was super clean. We found the room a bit small for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids). Sofa bed wasn’t made so we called reception and someone came within 5MINS to fix this for us. We found the breakfast very expensive (78€ for 2 adults 2 children). There was obviously a good variety of food but still didn’t justify the price. We went around the corner the next day and had breakfast...

To Build the fridge and Wardrob as a container was not a good idea. It makes too much noise. It wakes up kids or they want to play with it, as open and close and hit, to make much more noise. Bus in front, Edeka walking distance and good breakfast at Cafe Irma.

Is this the cutest hotel minibar fridge disguised as a shipping container, or what?! The handle really works just like the big ones.

Nice layout. Rooms were decent enough for the price point. The bar could consider having a local beer on tap and the breakfast price may need to be reconsidered.

Location: Bus stop in front of the hotel. You can reach the central station in half an hour. The hotel is quite clean, though the hotel itself is a bit old. The design of the bedside lamp is very uncomfortable. It’s not on the side but at the back of the bed. You may hurt your head or back if you want to leaning. We don’t have the time to enjoy the sauna or fitness so nothing to share about this.

There is a short fat guy with a big beard and his name is Ski. It takes ten minutes to check in. He speaks slowly and impatiently. Two double beds are made into twins. Is it okay to work without using your brain?

The room was clean and nice. A lot of options for the breakfast and delicious. The only bad thing was that no taxi drivers wanted to take me to the hotel with regular price at night time due to the distance. They asked me for 20-30euro for 1km.

It's located around 30 minutes away with public transportation from the city center. The hotel was very clean and neat. Although the room was small, they provided a wardrobe to store our belongings, a television, a safe box, and a small fridge filled with drinks. You also don't need to bring towels because they provide them.

The rooms were luxurious and room service was there every day, cleaning up perfectly. Only the Internet and WiFi really sucked. When it worked, it took ages to connect and once connected, the connection has huge packet loss and latency. Fastest speed we got was 4mbit/s down. It is powered by m3connect.

Its a bit dated in the furniture etc but staff and running of the place is excellent. I think they have a strong manager running the place and he/she is doing the best he/she can but it maybe needs a bit of a re-vamp (furniture etc is dated) Was surprised on the bar food (Risotto) - really good and chocolates etc in room for a airport hotel was very surprising!
