Where to stay with pets in Hamburg

Nice hostel 24/7 open in good location but service is not good. We have bus at late night to return back and thought of staying in lounge for closing the room but they haven't accepted that

The location of the hotel was perfect! Everything was very clean and tidy, but the best thing was the instalations and the staff that was always so friendly and polite, especially Mai!

I dont see anything wrong with this place. Rooms were good, bathroom was good, maybe a little small, but it is a big city. Beds were good and the rooftop was also great. Price was also fair and breakfast was decent

Its location is strategic, close to major tourist attractions. My only suggestion is to enhance the breakfast menu variety. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay

Most of the time the place was quiet, someone were up in the middle of the night and were a little loud, but some staff told them to keep it quiet. Definetly recommend this place, i had a good stay

A big 5 stars hotel, its location is just perfect! Near by a train station, the big lake, the best green and flower parks in the city, great options for restaurants and it’s located about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city center

The rooms are slightly outdated and a little bit musty. But the air conditioning works. The beds are a little bit hard. But the service is absolutely fantastic. I think it’s worth it overall

Hamburger is quite a surprisingly beautiful city and this is in a lovely university area close to the museums. I would definitely return with my family

The hotel bar at night was a bit of a disappointment as the bar team were very unprofessional and they have a good indoors swimming pool, a spa and fitness club. Room are comfortable and very a clean

Great location. Rooms and bathrooms are not very large. Big everything is new, modern and conveniently designed. Breakfast is chaos though - go to the café/Baker across the Street.

The staff was super friendly!! The Hotel was super cleaned and followed all the security measures due to the pandemic. The room is not very spacious, but it is comfortable. The bed and pillows are a little too soft

Rooms are getting old. The furniture and the mattresses should be renewed. Staff and rest of the facilities great. Location OK if you want to go that area, or can reach the s or u Bahn close to the hotel.

Summary - try to avoid unless you have to be this area. Location is soso but a ways away from town. Restaurant is open only 2 hours a day with few choices near by. The rooms are 10 years over due for a renovation

The hotel location is quite a bit distance away from nearest bus stop or train station. Do your homework before decide staying here as bringing luggage is not that convenient

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. A baby bed was arranged at the last minute. The hotel location is near to the bus stop and SBahn. The rooms were clean and there was timely housekeeping services

Breakfast and parking very expensive 28€ / 25€. Room are nice and the view is also nice but the negative aspect is the attitude of the people at the reception, I think the most unpolite I have ever seen in an hotel

Small rooms. It was very warm during the stay and the AC did not keep up. Location is great for seeing historic Hamburg and getting around. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from.

Everything great! We were a family and were placed on a connected family room, that was 2 rooms together, so we had 2 toilets

Great location in the middle of Hamburg along the lake. There is a walking/bike path across the street. The hotel has plenty of bikes for rental making getting around the city more pleasant

Perfect location with a grand view on Alster Lake. Breakfast is excellent, the receptionist is quick and easy going. Many rooms have great views and they all are larger than average in the area

Conclusion: Jufa is a excellent choice if you're travelling with children, and we would probably chose Jufa again. If you're on a couples trip as a tourist in Hamburg you'll probably find a better located hotel

Location: Convenient located with the U4 metro on the doorsteps. The U4 takes you to central Hamburg in a few minutes. The stop is quite close to U4 terminus so it's not that crowded

While the rooms we had were very nice, and extremely spacious, but make sure you have the outward facing ones, as the view to the inside isn't great. I attended a concert, purchased a vinyl and forget it in the room

The shower was leaky and water went everywhere in the bathroom, there was no minibar in the room (despite it saying that there was), and we had to call multiple times about the black-out curtains—which were never fixed

They kept telling us someone would come but after the first person who couldn’t fix it, no one else showed. As a result, the large glowing “Fraser Suites” sign from across the canal kept us up at night

Coffee is for free at the lobby bar. You can walk to the city center in 30 minutes but that won't be an enjoyable walk. The nearest metro station is Berliner Tor

unfortunately!!! Then the breakfast looked just great, and I was excited to have some, however, the beans and the hot breakfast was so cold, it was ridiculous , it was like it had just come out of the fridge! And it was supposed to be hot

it's a big place, and only one coffee machine that takes forever to produce one coffee, seriously by the time it was my turn, I had to be at work, however, as it happens, as I did eventually get my coffee, it was awful

Specially the girl in the reception that speaks Spanish and the director of the hotel that helped look for another lost wallet. The rooms are big and bed is super comfortable

I had a wonderful experience staying at NH Altona Hamburg between 10th-16th October 2024. The hotel was lovely, it was even better than expected

Can highly recommend the cafe around the corner called Playground Coffee. Super coffee and friendly service with a cozy, neighborhood feel. Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Mexican food all within walking distance

The only suggestion that I can give is to increase the intensity of light in the room, the light are to soft that to looking inside my baggage I used the torch of my phone

Lovely hotel if you're young and up to date with IT. I found the room dark and cold. The staff were efficient, but unfriendly. The exception was when we ate in the restaurant, the waiter(s) were excellent.

While they responded quickly, it certainly wasn't convenient to find the website and then send an email to house services. Lastly, the lights in the room didn't work near the bed and the room was dark in general

We arrived early, they held our luggage until our room was ready. Kuna suggested the hop on/off A1 line as a way to pass the time. Soon we received a notification the room was ready

The breakfast room was located on a higher floor with a lovely view of the lake and there was also a rooftop bar for drinks in the evening. Hamburg is a lovely little city

Small rooms, tired looking carpets, AC that didn't work and a somewhat suspicious location close to the red light district that felt unsafe. The highlight though was the ultra nice Italian guy at breakfast

If you can get past the location, it's a good place to stay. The area although safe and the people working in the restaurants and souvenir shops are friendly , the whole red light vibe is not charming but rather seedy

Hotel is in a great location right at the end of the Reeperbahn and just beside subway stop so very handy for airport train. Funky decor but lacks some touches or real personality.

The only thing that might stop me returning is I'm not keen on the reeperbahn area ( though in 2 nights I didn't encounter a single problem , it's just not a pleasant atmosphere in this neighbourhood )
