Where to stay with pets in Hamburg

Location is a bit out from the city center, but there is a station close by which is only a 10 minute commute! There is a supermarket near by, but not much else to be doing in the area

Good value for money and very conveniently located. Plenty of street parking is usually available in the surrounding area

It's a short 15-minute walk to the East Side Gallery, where you can see the 'Fraternal Kiss' mural

For the price it was actually pretty good - very cheap - but were the hostel was its a no go - we got a room in the 8th floor & took the stairs because the elevator was to slow and small But for the room it was only ok - the room was pretty modern and big - on the ground was stained blood - there was no wardrobe to put clothes in - I had to do myself the bed sheeting - there was no amenities...

Amazing hotel. Great location. Rooms large by European standards. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a great value esp for the quality. Parking available but very tight.

The rooms are slightly outdated and a little bit musty. But the air conditioning works. The beds are a little bit hard. But the service is absolutely fantastic. I think it’s worth it overall

What could be improved? The room temperature in our room could have been colder; the temperature control was quite old, which made it hard to adjust accurately

Rooms are getting old. The furniture and the mattresses should be renewed. Staff and rest of the facilities great. Location OK if you want to go that area, or can reach the s or u Bahn close to the hotel.

Summary - try to avoid unless you have to be this area. Location is soso but a ways away from town. Restaurant is open only 2 hours a day with few choices near by. The rooms are 10 years over due for a renovation

The hotel location is quite a bit distance away from nearest bus stop or train station. Do your homework before decide staying here as bringing luggage is not that convenient

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. A baby bed was arranged at the last minute. The hotel location is near to the bus stop and SBahn. The rooms were clean and there was timely housekeeping services

The staff are friendly, the property and the furnishings in the rooms (including the carpets) are quite old and could be described as somewhat worn. However, the rooms are clean, which is the most important aspect

Small rooms. It was very warm during the stay and the AC did not keep up. Location is great for seeing historic Hamburg and getting around. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from.

Everything great! We were a family and were placed on a connected family room, that was 2 rooms together, so we had 2 toilets

The rooms were a bit small, but the fact we had two was perfect! The breakfast was wonderful, bioproducts and nice bread! Location is also very good, really close to Miniatur Wunderland!

My room was located on the 8th floor and featured the standard Motel One interior. The rooms are certainly on the smaller side, but clean and modern. The hotel also features a very well stocked Gin bar downstairs

Again, staff being very friendly and attentive. Overall, Motel One is a no frills hotel concept but from my perspective it punches well above its closest competitors in this segment

Great location in the middle of Hamburg along the lake. There is a walking/bike path across the street. The hotel has plenty of bikes for rental making getting around the city more pleasant

Perfect location with a grand view on Alster Lake. Breakfast is excellent, the receptionist is quick and easy going. Many rooms have great views and they all are larger than average in the area

Very warm welcome from the front desk staff. Helpful. Room is standard for business trips, close to bus stops that connects easily to sbahn stations. Also reaches the fish market directly by bus in the morning.

Specially the girl in the reception that speaks Spanish and the director of the hotel that helped look for another lost wallet. The rooms are big and bed is super comfortable

The shower was leaky and water went everywhere in the bathroom, there was no minibar in the room (despite it saying that there was), and we had to call multiple times about the black-out curtains—which were never fixed

They kept telling us someone would come but after the first person who couldn’t fix it, no one else showed. As a result, the large glowing “Fraser Suites” sign from across the canal kept us up at night

I stayed for four nights with my father. We were warmly welcomed, and the beds were well-spaced. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi for us within five minutes. The pizza was delicious.

The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection. However, during peak hours, there are long waits at the buffet (this was also pointed out in the elevator), and there were often no cups or glasses available

New, modern building, within walking distance of the Berliner Tor station. The room is conveniently furnished. A voucher is required for breakfast, which you receive upon check-in

Therefore, if you want to use the Wi-Fi for an extended period, you have to turn on the TV, select a channel, and turn off the sound

The Wi-Fi in the room only works when the TV is turned on. The password changes every time the TV is turned on

Hotel staff are really cooperating and friendly (special thanks to Mona and Nam) location is 10 min walk from train station and 2 min walk from bus station, the area is very quiet and modern, room was really beyond my expectations, super clean and comfy, the hotel was 2-3 train stations from the airport (10 min) the hotel also can offer you the transportation to airport by a paid ride

The hotel has a very modern design, is located in a quiet area where is next to the Stadtpark. The U-Bahn is about 15 mins walk.

Didn't realise how far out of centre hotel was located convenient for metro trains and airport

Holiday Inn is always a good choice for business trip. The gym facilities are unparalleled, also the breakfast is abundant with different kinds of food you could enjoy.

Location is a little skeptical as there are many activities in Reeperbahn itself at night which might not be very good for light sleepers. For the Price to Enjoyment ratio: 4/5

the hostel is well located too, I could walk to Hamburg harbor. The room was small and not soundproof but it fulfilled my needs

The place itself is a little strange and half the shared toilets are nackered but the rooms are clean and the beds are comphy. There are 2 communal areas always with people hanging out

Location: Bus stop in front of the hotel. You can reach the central station in half an hour. The hotel is quite clean, though the hotel itself is a bit old. The design of the bedside lamp is very uncomfortable

It’s not on the side but at the back of the bed. You may hurt your head or back if you want to leaning. We don’t have the time to enjoy the sauna or fitness so nothing to share about this
