Hamburg, Amsinckstr. 2 🧭 Map
The service and location was good. Overall it was good for a few nights. The walls are quite thin so you can easily hear other rooms.
The hostel was very close to the central station. The service is nice and the room was clean. Would recommend!
The location was really good close to main Hamburg railway station easy to navigate and worth the cost cleaning and amenities was unexpected at this price
Decent stay.. Rooms were neat.. easy access to public transportation..
Good value for money. 10 to 15 minutes' walk to the train station.
2 elevators work well. Sorry for my mistake in previous review I thought 1 didn’t work. I pressed the wrong button. 1 brings you down the breakfast area and the working space which look very bright, colorful and energetic. 1 brings you down near the Reception area. They sell coffee in the Lobby too. The housekeeping staff never cared if I put up the Do Not Disturb sign. He just opened the room without...

Hamburg, Steintorplatz 3 🧭 Map
The room was clean and tidy and the view from my room was stunning. The staff super friendly. The position of the Generator is the real deal, most of the major attractions are walking distance and thanks to the HPB station the rest of the city is easily accessible. I really liked the self check in and check out and the lockers are really handy and spacious, big enough even for a huge suitcase. I'll...
Exciting place to spent the night and return anytime you wish especially in the night. Very close to Hamburg central Train Station. Nice and Friendly staff. The only thing is that the bathrooms are too small but I still think they deserve 5 star rating.
The Room was a little cold and you don’t have direct access to air conditioning. The Bathroom in the room was super small. In general I give 3.5
Not a bad place to stay for a couple of nights. location is great. but the surrounding streets are a bit dodgy. I haven't have any incidence but people are kinda weird in this area. The room has a small problem since the bathroom is located in the room and in my room the door only locks from inside. so when no one is using the bathroom the door stays open which I find not very comfortable since any...
It's nice to get some rest in very good places. Generator is such a place. Good food, music & space to relax. Plus it's location is perfect.
Not overly many showers available considering the number of beds. Really warm rooms on a hot night. Good friendly staff and the best possible location. Good security too.

Good Cabin hotel, near Hamburg Hbf, but the way to hotel gave me feeling a bit scary. However, when you’re at the hotel, it’s very nice; just avoid going to hotel at night. Better have a bottle of water in the room will be perfect.
The hotel is in a great location, the front desk service is good, there is free water in the room, the room has windows, the ceiling is high so it is very comfortable, and the room was upgraded after check-in!! So happy
The room is indeed a little small, and the bathroom is shared, but the service is good. I personally don't mind it. It's good for a one-night stopover. The front desk is very enthusiastic and provides hot water, which is very warm.
It was the first time I stayed in such a small room. It should be said that it is not a room but a place to sleep. The facilities are new and trendy, the sleeping place is creative, I slept very well without noise. This time it is very fun to sleep
The business promotion pictures are all real
Can't recommend this place enough! Spent 4 days here and the staff became like friends - Mike, Rebecca, Paul and Lucia, you're absolute legends. The spot has awesome vibes, great food, and the bar service is quick and on point. After 3 months on the road, this was exactly what I needed. These guys made my stay ridiculously good, super chill atmosphere the whole time. If you're thinking about booking...

The time I stayed there was really good. The room was clean and eaquiped. The staff were really polite, the price was really reasonable, the and breakfast was awesome ( even it cost alittle, but worth it!). Recommend it if you want to stay in Hambourg
Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it. It was the best hostel I couldn't forget joy and fun during my stayed . They offered Very good services . Thanks for everything to all staffs until we meet again ❤
A not bad place to be. Good staff with room conditions.
Excellent, clean, friendly. Great breakfast and facilities. Friendly polite staff. Fantastic experience for a family of 4
Nice and clean. We where given lunch packets as we had to leave before breakfast. A bit far from the city centre, but good connections nearby.

I can only recommend it, we stayed with a friend for one night, the room was clean, the staff super friendly and helpful, the location perfect, in front of the port. You have to climb many stairs to get there but it's worth it, you have such a wonderful view of the port at night, and benches to sit down and enjoy sunset. Also there's a supermarket around the corner. I will come back.
Chose this hostel to spend a night in the city center, away from railway or bus stations. We did not match with this hostel. There were several hidden costs: pay more because you are old, pay 4€ for towels, leave a deposit to use the TV in the lounge, etc. All the facilities are either locked or broken: to use the guest kitchen or laundry you should get a token at the reception; of 3 vending machines...
I stayed one night and happened to get an empty room which was nice. The rooms were clean but there was no soap or anything provided which can be something to keep in mind when booking. Bring soap! The staff was really friendly and they had a bike garage where you could store your bike safely.
Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This site will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! Best hostel in Hamburg. Used to stay in grand hostel brands but this one makes it’s really a surprise. Awesome view of Hamburg Port and docks, panoramic of all Hamburg and open terrace, bar at nights and big common area with pool, WiFi, ping pong and more. Every morning free breakfast buffet really good.
Situated at one of the best location nearby the Elbe. The view during night and day from the hostel is quite good. Breakfast has wide variety. Rooms could have been bit bigger.

Halfway through my stay so far. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable (and don't make too much noise—nice when you're the early bird of the room) and the kitchen is well-equipped. My only two gripes are that the location is a bit out of the way (the street it's on is primarily an office park and residential area, but it is still easy to get into town or to the shops via S-Bahn) and that there...
리셉션 직원이 츤데레이십니다. 말은 굉장히 불친절한데 정작 행동으로는 다 해주셔서 혼란스러웠습니다... The reception person was not so kind. He spoked in not very pleasant way, but he actually helped us a lot. For example, when I was struggling with a coffee machine in kitchen, he approached me and said the machine is not for guests. (Then why is it in the common kitchen without any sign?) But he helped me fix it and made me coffee by himself...
Clean rooms, polite personnel. Laundry service available and a kitchen to share with the other guests.
Nice location even though it's far from city center. A store close by to buy food and the train line 2 min away.
I stayed in different hostels in Hamburg and this one proved to be the best option so far! It is much cleaner, everything is quite new inside. There is always enough safe parking right across the property if it is full inside the frontyard. The restaurant at the property serves only until 1pm, but the breakfast options they have are always fresh, delicious and inexpensive. And the very important...

I was glad to find this location and stay for a little. Good kitchen and washer, showers cool, fresh linen and good heating. Clean and friendly atmosphere.
everything clean, friendly staff, but it's just a hostel.
Clean and comfortable. Looks better on the inside so don't be put off when you turn up. Grocery store right behind it. Plenty of free parking space. Check out time to get your cash deposit back is limited to 10-11am only, which is a nuisance, but they say they will be starting from earlier soon.
Very friendly staff who introduce you to the hostel and facilities when you arrive. Clean room and kitchen area. Separated toilet/bathroom for men and women and looks recently renovated. No noise from neighbouring rooms. Lived here with family of five for two nights when traveling through Germany on winter holiday. Parking included. Recommended!
Very easy and nice communication with the hostel. Although my flight was delayed and I arrived after 11 pm, someone waited for me and welcomed me with a smile. Rooms and bathrooms are new and everything is very clean, there is a well equiped kitchen to cook, a common space with machines for drinks and snacks, washing machine and dryers. The place is quiet and not far from public transports. I highly...

the rooms are alright, kitchen is available so thats helpful. staff is helpful, but due to another customer's fault i had to wait a long time for checking in. they could improve the interiors. walls are way too thin and everything can be heard from the other rooms. all in all, its an okay hostel for a night or two.
Unless all the other people complaining about things. We really liked our stay. Just for a couple of nights, this can be a perfect accommodation!
Generally, this hostel is a good place to stay. The room and bathrooms were ok but we faced some improprieties during our stay such as a lack of staff availabilities and a very dirty kitchen ...
Nice place in close location to centre, could check-in even though we came at night out of check-in hours. Would recommend if you are looking for something cheap for couple of the nights
Clean rooms, friendly service vey cheap.
Very strange place. If you are into strange hostels then it's for you. Otherwise you will find it weird and unorganized.

Simple sleep-only hostel. Despite being a simple hostel I slept surprinsingly well. Don't expect many facilities as the hostel clearly states beforehand. Al be it not cheap it is relative cheaper compared to the other hostels. Splendid as a one nighter.
Expensive €120 for 1 night but better pay that and sleep in a bed than sleep at the airport 😂🤣 I saw €14 a night but it was €120. I'm greatful regardless. Room was a bit cold
Rooms were alright in size, the space felt like it could have been used a bit better. The bunk beds were felt a little cheap and unsafe. They weren't unsafe, but that was definitely the feeling I was getting from them. The staff member we talked to and interacted with was very helpful, and she answered all the questions we had about the place. The bathroom was fine, and the shower (which was in another...
Very friendly Staff. Man speaks many languages. Rooms are clean, but the pillows were dirty :(
Decent place at for travelers on budget. Very close to the airport. Supermarkets are just nearby. If you are looking for a place to spend a night before catching a flight, this place is for you.
While it is a really old place and the beds are giving me the feeling that I am on a high school class Trip, it is alright for a couple hours of sleep before travelling. And the staff was cool.

Big and bright room in a very good location. We will definitely stay at Pyjama Park again if we return to Hamburg.
Friendly stay, huge room, great location. Could have benefitted from a few chairs in the room and maybe a kettle.
Nice funky room and great location. Very accessible and close to amenities. Bathroom was a bit cramped however and bunk bed was very close to the ceiling. Staff were friendly though. Bar downstairs was good fun also.
The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and the curtain gives you more privacy. But there is literally just one bathroom+shower for the whole floor. So long waiting time. Additionally, no common area to hang out. Not the bast place for a solo traveler like me. Despite this, the location is great.
Located in an amazing area, with so many restaurants nearby and with St Pauli next to you, this hostel was top. Ultra clean, the showers, the bathroom, rooms. The bed and pillows are super comfortable and the room environment is well set up. The only sad part is that when I asked in the front desk for recommendations for places to visit they said something like I could walk around and that’s it. Besides...

I must say it was ok because of the whole place... however my room wasnt. The whole place was pretty nice, in a quiet area of Hamburg, with a spacious garsen and the manager was nice. The thing is, some cheap rooms were in the basement and mine was one of them, and it wasnt that good. The double beds werent high enough so down there on my bed i couldnt even sit from the one above, the smell was nasty...
Nice place) Extremely nice for the price, interesting people around, relaxed atmosphere. Shower is always busy, earplugs recommended) Well done guys.

Probably the best price in the city for a hostel. Most of the room are shared. They contain beds, refrigerator and lockers. Bathrooms with showers are located next to the rooms. Available is also a big shared kitchen. Only 10-15 min from the city center with a bus.
I've stayed here last year. Though a little bit far away from the centre, it offers a really nice (and clean) accomodation for a fair price. Also, very nice staff.

I cannot say it loudly enough - this hostel has a weird vibe. Like not in a threatening or dangerous kinda way, like its just odd. Its clean enough, the folks that run it are friendly, the rooms, though small, are all OK. Its just weird. In a way I couldn't put my finger on. Not the best review possible but there it is. The price is probably the best around though, so there you go.
Good basic hostel provision. Staff were v helpful and friendly. Beds comfy. The only thing was the noise of the street at night. We had to keep our windows open due to the heat. Traffic, regular emergency service sirens and people yahooing and talking in the street below until 330 am. Get a back room if you can.
We were visiting Hamburg and needed a place to stay for the night, we contacted this place and then went there. It was clean and affordable. We opted for the 8-bed dorm room because it was cheap and also privacy was not a problem for us. You just have to fill a form and pay to get the place. They give you clean sheets and you have to make use of them and make your bed and cover pillow and duvet. Plus...
The best hostel I have been in. Its one of the few places where you dont have to be smart. So interesting people come here.
Extremely clean and nice hostel. Also really cheap considering how comfy it was. Only downside I can think of is the location. It was a bit far from the downtown area. Great breakfast and late night snack places right next to the entrance!
Floor wasn't cleaned (trap under my bed), they started drilling at 9am, shower was dirty and the one and only toilet seat was full of ass hair. The location is amazing (Berliner Tor U-bahn entrance 10 meters away from entrance of this Hostel). The bunkbeds are at least 200 cm which was amazing being a tall person, thickness of mattress was fine. We paid €220 with 4 people for 2 nights in March.

Beds make a lot of noise and the double bed in the family room was not really comfortable. Check-in went really smooth via a code and parking was extremely practical for transit night.
Hotel standard hostel. Only downside was the bunk beds who where a bit noisy.
Had a very different experience easiest checkin N checkout ever. Key was in a safe box N had just to drop the keys in checkout box. There was not staff personals and didn't need any. Everything was there. Rooms were nice as a hostel. Carpeted floor.
It's ok, little bit loud, it's far away from center, round it it's just few things to look.. It's located more in industrial area..The elevator it's for now not working,so I must go on the steps 2floor.I wasn't so happy here..But for experience it's ok..I only can say I won't come again
Very good deal for what you pay! Everything was neat, clean, and apparently new. The only thing that was slightly annoying is that internet logs me out every few minutes.

Great value, fantastic location. The rooms are pretty basic but the bed was comfortable. There was quite a lot of noise from guests moving around the corridors. The bunk bed was also squeaky. Plenty of facilities in the hostel and the interactions with the staff were excellent and friendly. Bring a towel though.
