The rooms are a bit small, but good value for money. However, the staff during breakfast were very rude, allowing entry to breakfast as if interrogating guests. I would not choose this hotel again. 10 out of 10 for the reception staff.

Very nice building, sort of small rooms but very clean and cozy ones. My room was in the 19th floor and you get the chance to have an awesome view of the city, though it'd be better if you could get a view of the lake nearby. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and I'll definitely try it in my next trips.

This hotel is huge and clean. The desk people are friendly and helpful. The hotel parking works well for me. My room is not very spacious but it’s okay for my one night in Hamburg. At the bar I order a well chilled and taste Riesling. It’s served with a smile.

I stayed for four nights with my father. We were warmly welcomed, and the beds were well-spaced. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi for us within five minutes. The pizza was delicious.

It was an overall clean room but with fairly basic furniture. Very good for a short trip. A good point was the separate toilet and shower rooms but due to that, space in the shower room was quite limited and maybe not completely comfortable. It serves its function of a comfortable bed and stay but it is not exactly a fashionable/modern place to stay.

For business use. Very convenient location in front of Hamburg Central Station. There are restaurants in the station so you won't have any problems. It's in front of the station so it can be a little noisy at night, but it's tolerable. The lobby is small. I arrived in the morning, but I was able to get into my room.

I think this hotel is good value for money. I'm staying here in August when most of the school children in Europe are on holiday, so I expect prices everywhere to be more expensive. I had to stay here due to my participation with a performance choir and the Hamburg Philharmonic paid for everyone's stay at the Commodore.
