The rooms are slightly outdated and a little bit musty. But the air conditioning works. The beds are a little bit hard. But the service is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is fantastic. The spa and pool fantastic. I think it’s worth it overall. Hamburger is quite a surprisingly beautiful city and this is in a lovely university area close to the museums. I would definitely return with my family

Near by a train station, the big lake, the best green and flower parks in the city, great options for restaurants and it’s located about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city center. Nice clean hotel with a traditional (old) feel about it. Great pool open 7 to 10 and reasonable gym open 24/7. No iron available in room, need to go to central roning room. The hotel is very large, with several halls and many small meeting rooms. It can organize several business activities at a time. The facilities are also complete and the environment is very good. There is a large park outside the back door and a sightseeing bus station at the front door. It is very convenient and suitable for business travel.

While the rooms we had were very nice, and extremely spacious, but make sure you have the outward facing ones, as the view to the inside isn't great. But their service is amazing. I attended a concert, purchased a vinyl and forget it in the room. They were super kind and sent it to me via post, packaged extremely well and I received it without any damage.

This was a nice hotel. Location is just perfect! Right in the center of Hamburg, close to the main shopping street, lots of places around in walking distance. You can get there easily by car, public transport and of course taxi. From here you'll be able to do almost anything by foot in the center. Especially if you don't shy away from walking a bit. On of my favorites in Hamburg. Modern and very spacious rooms and architecture overall. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. The only thing to mention is that air-conditioning can be loud. The gym is small but very functional. Food/ Bar and Restaurant are great.

Beautiful hotel & restaurants in Blankensee overlooking Hamburg & the Elbe. Has it's own underground parking. We visited the biergarten which provided great food from a limited menu at a very reasonable price. Half roast chicken, potato salad followed by huge portions of strawberry gateau. This hotel is amazing for so many reasons! Perfect for business travel and hosting events. The rooms are huge and very clean. That said, it would be super helpful to know a few things upon arrival such as the importance of scanning the QR code in your room so you know how to turn off the lights without losing power in your room. Nice hotel, good atmosphere, modern rooms, comfy beds, good location. Definitely -1 point for a very complicated checkout where they can't handle modern credit cards (ApplePay) but rather need to write down numbers (which you obviously don't want) and even need to represent your card when just checkin out despite they've captured the charge before.
