It's an incredible location in Hamburg with a staff always willing to help. However, the room lacked an electric kettle, which I'm just used to being in a hotel room, and neither the HDMI nor the casting worked on the TV. Minor details, but very important for some. Surprisingly, Holiday Inn Hamburgh was a perfect place which is 15 minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes to the city center. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. Great food also for breakfast and tasty crispy chicken burger.

There is a disabled-parking bay right in fron tof the entracne just for the hotel, but it also has a direct bus connection with a station at the doorstep to Hamburgs main train-station and the old town. Very comfortable and quiet hotel for a good price. It is a bir far from the city center, but don’t worry, because you can easily take the bus 5 to Hbf or change to subway U3 to reach popular spots. I can recommend this hotel as a solo traveler.

Mixed review The team and service is fantastic They were also able to have me back after my flight got cancelled and team was so nice I realize this is very personal and different for everyone. During check-in waited for 30+ minutes. 2 employees helping one group check-in rather than help the rest. During check out waited 15+ minutes. Maybe they still use hieroglyphs in their computer system. And the pillows were just glorified blankets rolled up in a ball.

This was a nice hotel. Location is just perfect! Right in the center of Hamburg, close to the main shopping street, lots of places around in walking distance. You can get there easily by car, public transport and of course taxi. From here you'll be able to do almost anything by foot in the center. Especially if you don't shy away from walking a bit. On of my favorites in Hamburg. Modern and very spacious rooms and architecture overall. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. The only thing to mention is that air-conditioning can be loud. The gym is small but very functional. Food/ Bar and Restaurant are great.

We stayed at this charming hotel at the beginning of February 2025. The neighborhood of the hotel is not like in a 1.8 million city, but you feel like in a nice village. The furnishings of the hotel are of a high standard. The staff in particular contribute greatly to the feel-good factor in this hotel.
