Location is a bit out from the city center, but there is a station close by which is only a 10 minute commute! There is a supermarket near by, but not much else to be doing in the area. Decent kitchen, but mildly frustrating having to pay a 20€ deposit everytime you need a pot/pan/plate/fork, but no big deal at the end of the day.
For the price it was actually pretty good - very cheap - but were the hostel was its a no go - we got a room in the 8th floor & took the stairs because the elevator was to slow and small But for the room it was only ok - the room was pretty modern and big - on the ground was stained blood - there was no wardrobe to put clothes in - I had to do myself the bed sheeting - there was no amenities...
Not enough large and quick lifts for this very large building and its huge amount of rooms. Hopefully I was on first floor so it's ok. Wifi is disconnecting every couple of minutes (in room 158) which is very annoying. Coffee machine at the lobby is poorly maintained, clean cups are not regularly refilled. The way from Berlinor Tor (U & S bahn Station) is under improvement works. That means a huge...
Really nice hotel for all solo, friends, family. Good bar and reception are clean rooms
Nice staff, clean hostel, good location, comfortable bed, very clean room
Good value for money and very conveniently located. Plenty of street parking is usually available in the surrounding area. It's a short 15-minute walk to the East Side Gallery, where you can see the 'Fraternal Kiss' mural. The property has three buildings, so make sure to ask the front desk which one your room is in before you head up, to save yourself an unnecessary walk.

Very convenient location, just a short walk from the station. The interior was modern and the room was lovely for us.
The hotel has a nice atmosphere and the room we stayed in was fine however I can't give it a full score due to the lack of an in room fridge. I inquired about this and was told only the suites have a fridge. This is a pity because customers pay good money for a nice hotel and expect basic comforts. I don't buy the line about it being for the environment, more likely a cost saving. If it was about the...
The Reichshof Hotel offers a fantastic blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, handling our check-in swiftly. Our room was spacious and clean, and the beautiful Art Deco building is a standout. Its location is a major plus—right by Hamburg Central Station, making it super easy to explore the city's attractions on foot
A lovely and clean hotel in excellent location. Friendly staff and great breakfast.
The perfect location in Hamburg for your stay. An easy walk to the Alster, the museums and the shopping district, and the main railway station is a minute or two from here, as well as all the fantastic local cafes and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, although little to no English is spoken here, so brush up on your German before travelling. Breakfast is plentiful and first class, the...

Very beautiful Hotel! Loved it. I just don’t think the AC was working in room 548.. also the location? I’m not sure if it’s just Hamburg Germany , but there’s not much to eat late at night opened for snacks & couldn’t go in the hotel anywhere to buy snacks neither after a certain time. So that’s a bummer. Breakfast was alright , I was hoping they had syrup but they didn’t :(
A very classic property, well-maintained. Our room overlooked the central courtyard, and it was ideal: very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast had a good variety; even though it was always busy, the staff managed the crowds well. What could be improved? The room temperature in our room could have been colder; the temperature control was quite old, which made it hard to adjust accurately. Overall, a perfect...
Absolutely stunning hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff so helpful and friendly. Great English speaking. Hotel was beautiful. And the room was traditionally spectacular
The rooms are slightly outdated and a little bit musty. But the air conditioning works. The beds are a little bit hard. But the service is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is fantastic. The spa and pool fantastic. I think it’s worth it overall. Hamburger is quite a surprisingly beautiful city and this is in a lovely university area close to the museums. I would definitely return with my family
A big 5 stars hotel, its location is just perfect! Near by a train station, the big lake, the best green and flower parks in the city, great options for restaurants and it’s located about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city center. They have a nice rooftop with a beautiful panoramic views, just a pity the rooftop closes early around 10pm. Breakfast was nice and convenient with a good variety...
Nice clean hotel with a traditional (old) feel about it. Great pool open 7 to 10 and reasonable gym open 24/7. No iron available in room, need to go to central roning room. A little pricey for what you get. Good location near station and short walk to lake, restaurants and other attractions. Under ground parking.

Hamburg, Seewartenstr. 9 🧭 Map
Hotel Hafen is a good hotel, perfectly located for a holiday in Hamburg. Our experience, however, was that the room didn't live up to its online description. It was a very small room overlooking a backyard, with a train line running right outside, making it noisy when the window was open. It was quite a shame that there was such a significant discrepancy between the room advertised online and the one...
This hotel is one of the best in Hamburg. Its location is a major highlight. The harbor, city center, Reeperbahn, Fish Market, and Speicherstadt are all within easy walking distance. The rooms are very clean, and the bathrooms have been renovated. We had a wonderful stay.
we spent one night on our trip to Denmark in this hotel. welcome by the reception was very cool. there is only one small lift to take your luggage to the room. room and bath room is small with no airco. breakfast buffet is very good. as the name of the hotel says it is vey close to the harbour.
This hotel is an absolute must, a true icon of Hamburg. We had a truly wonderful time here, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious.
Hotels in Hamburg were expensive during my stay, and this was no exception. I did not see before I booked that to access the hotel you have to walk 100 stairs up from the harbour side station. That or go to another station and walk past a homeless hostel near the Reeperbahn where lots of men were sitting drinking and waiting for the hostel to open. I think this needs to be better publicised before...

Bit far away from the centre. Other than that quite decent place to stay for a couple nights
Clean place. With friendly and helpful staffs. The location is like 15 minutes walk away from the train station.
The hotel location is quite a bit distance away from nearest bus stop or train station. Do your homework before decide staying here as bringing luggage is not that convenient. Facilities and room are simple and old but functional, nothing to complain given the prices. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed morning walk at the park right next to hotel.
Had a room with a bath, rare for European hotels!
The room is clean. Everything looks good. Next time, I will book again
We stayed in the hotel for two nights. A baby bed was arranged at the last minute. The hotel location is near to the bus stop and SBahn. The rooms were clean and there was timely housekeeping services. The hotel has variety of breakfast for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.

Everything great! We were a family and were placed on a connected family room, that was 2 rooms together, so we had 2 toilets. The rooms were a bit small, but the fact we had two was perfect! The breakfast was wonderful, bioproducts and nice bread! Location is also very good, really close to Miniatur Wunderland!
Our recent stay at the Motel One was nothing short of delightful, leaving us thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the reception team stood out with their warm and friendly demeanor, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. Their attentiveness and genuine pride in their hotel were evident in every interaction, making us feel valued as guests. The room, though modest in size, was...
Great location. Solid customer service. Comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast.
Really nice decorated, staff really friendly and room really clean. Little line for breakfast which was understandable because you get seated. While waiting to get a seat/table a employee kindly offered an espresso. Really small but at the same time big gesture. City center within 10 minutes walk! Was a really nice experience! Definitely coming back!
Small rooms. It was very warm during the stay and the AC did not keep up. Location is great for seeing historic Hamburg and getting around. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from.
Cons: The room was a bit small and I was expecting more from the breakfast the food range was limited (apart boiled eggs there was no warm food...) Pros: The hotel is modern and well positioned close to a metro /train station . The bed was comfortable. I would recommend another hotel in Hamburg (Madison Hotel) which is closer and better overall, if the price difference is not a problem.

The rooms are a bit small, but good value for money. However, the staff during breakfast were very rude, allowing entry to breakfast as if interrogating guests. I would not choose this hotel again. 10 out of 10 for the reception staff.
Very nice building, sort of small rooms but very clean and cozy ones. My room was in the 19th floor and you get the chance to have an awesome view of the city, though it'd be better if you could get a view of the lake nearby. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and I'll definitely try it in my next trips.
Room is clean and nice according to pictures but very small. The breakfast was ok, coffee too, coming from a machine with different varieties. I do like the breakfast and surrounding area. Looks nice in the evening as well, but we didn’t spend any time there.
Okay for a night if you're in the city for business. The bar is pretty decent, so is breakfast. Parking is easy and plentiful, if a bit expensive. The rooms are very small and barebones, but serviceable overall.
This was our second visit to this hotel and all the team are a credit to the brand. Everyone was so helpful and caring. The hotel is clean and tidy, some of the rooms are a little on the cosy side and more suited to single occupancy. This chain offer reliable and consistent quality. This hotel is huge and clean. The desk people are friendly and helpful. The hotel parking works well for me. My room is not very spacious but it’s okay for my one night in Hamburg. At the bar I order a well chilled and taste Riesling. It’s served with a smile.

We had high hopes for our stay, but unfortunately, several issues impacted our comfort. The shower was leaky and water went everywhere in the bathroom, there was no minibar in the room (despite it saying that there was), and we had to call multiple times about the black-out curtains—which were never fixed. Hamburg was the perfect starting point for our trip, and Hotel Atlantic made our stay truly memorable. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station—which made getting in and out of the city incredibly convenient. It was a great base for exploring Hamburg for the first time. I liked staying here, but I didn't love it. The room was a bit too loud, getting there with public transport was a bit painful and the breakfast was too expensive for what they offered.
You come to the hotel in the evening, theres a few people staff in reception, but they still make you do a self-check inn. Not much parking space for a huge hotel is also not great. Place is decent all round, cleanliness was fine for my room, front desk was helpful in answering any questions. Location is a little skeptical as there are many activities in Reeperbahn itself at night which might not be very good for light sleepers. For the Price to Enjoyment ratio: 4/5
Tidy, Good Location, Normal Service, Quality of bed linen 2/5. Gut und günstig)
Almost perfect for the price. First of all, it's very cheaper than other accommodations. I wanted a room which didn't need to be fancy but cheap and not a dormitory room and this hostel had the one. the hostel is well located too, I could walk to Hamburg harbor. The room was small and not soundproof but it fulfilled my needs.
If I'm being honest. The place itself is a little strange and half the shared toilets are nackered but the rooms are clean and the beds are comphy. Great hotel, professional and kind service by the hotel staff. We came with a baby of 2 months old and they brought suitable accessories for him as well as baby shampoo. The location is perfect! Right in the middle of the luxurious shopping area.
