Luca Engel at the Reception made sure our stay was memorable and pleasant. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were clean with wooden cribs for my babies (requested during booking) and we even got an upgrade to a river view room! :)

Very nice hotel. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Great views from the rooftop bar but the service up there is unfortunately not the best, despite the high prices. Really nice location of this hotel! Very comfortable beds. Room needs to be renovated as you can clearly see that it is not fresh. Breakfast really tasty and it’s great value of money. I recommend it, however customer service of hotel should take opinion to consideration to make some lifting of hotel rooms.

Good size room with plenty of space for a double sofa bed as well as a king which are either side of a partition. The TV is in the partition and swivels around so can face either bed. There was a large bathroom too. The hotel is well located about a 15 minute walk from the centre. The common areas are ok.

The hotel is generally OK but unfortunately they are happy to take a deposit upon check-in, which they do not return without intervention. I had to intervene twice to get the deposit back. The money was returned two weeks after the collection. I did not expect such practices in the Marriott chain. A small thing and I do not want to return.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant in most aspects, however, the noise isolation was exceptionally poor. I was privy to every little sound from the room next door, from showering and toilet flushing to even their conversations and television. We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Scandic Emporio when we were visiting from Canada for the Taylor Swift concert. The staff members were all so kind and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was a short walk to the city centre and close to many shops and restaurants. Up on a hair in the tub, everything was clean. The staff at the reception was very nice, only the ladies at Breakfast are a bit Taciturn, but not unfriendly. Breakfast was a little disappointing. The breakfast is a highlight, well prepared every morning. The hotel room is good, clean. The location is next the Elbe, so it's good for a walk.

I booked directly on the Website of the hotel and received no confirmation whatsoever... The room was fine. They have an issue with washing windows. Windows are really dirty everywhere. In the morning the water in the shower was barely running. At the reception there is just one person. In the morning it was pretty crowded and waiting time increased. I definitely visited better hotels for 150 Euro...

Very convenient when travelling from the main station. Our room had a new bathroom and bed. We got a double room for 115 euro, that was great value for the price.

Better than expected! Excellent location near Hauptbahnhof. Friendly and helpful reception. Bustling traffic outside, but the double windows kept most noises out. Hotel room (standard double) was basic but with comfortable beds. Cleaning okay, breakfast big and plentyful - just as one can expect for the price.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room, along with the bathroom, was super neat and tidy. The view from my room on the seventh floor was really nice, I could see over the rooftops and at much of the city. It's in a great location, super close to the train station and countless amenities. What really blew me away was the breakfast. I thought I was only going to have it one day, but I got it...

Had a very good stay and the hotel is perfect. Quiet rooms, great location, good value and decent breakfast which offered a full and good range of cooked and continental. The staff in the hotel are very professional and at the same time helpful and friendly. Can’t really fault it and would definitely stay again if visiting Hamburg. Highly recommended.

Rooms are pretty nice and clean, but staff make you feel like you are in a very serious place. No one smiles and don't you dare walk in the wrong direction! There are rules, you know! We didn't feel welcomed there at all.
