Fantastic staff that were always service minded and friendly. Good breakfast and comfortable rooms, we were upgrade to a suite. Excellent in all aspects except for the horrendous music they play all day long in the lobby. It is incredibly bad...like the proverbial "elevator music" but piped into the lobby. One of the best hotels I stayed in Hamburg. Space rooms, clean, great location, quiet place to rest and my dog was in heaven. Breakfast was good and it is opened long every day. This hotel is very good in every place. The front desk was very enthusiastic when we arrived that night. They introduced the hotel's features and found comfortable pillows and quilts for us. The hygiene and surrounding environment were also good. However, the only drawback was that there was no exercise room and breakfast was served outside the hotel, not inside the hotel.

A truly beautiful hotel with lovely rooms that are large and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is outstanding; they are all very, very nice. The hotel is centrally located behind the main train station. However, the walk there alone is a bit daunting as a woman.

Everything was great: clean, and the room was nice. The iron arrived immediately after ordering it at reception. Friendly staff, good location with plenty of bars and restaurants around the corner, and the main train station within walking distance.

Close to metro, 15 minutes walk to Altstadt. Clean and comfortable room, big bathroom. We waited in line for a long time for check in and breakfast.

I had a great stay. I really liked my room, including the comfortable beds. Loved the bathroom, including the low-light option (I hate it when the only option is a bright light that is nearly blinding).

The hotel is very clean and sanitary, the transportation is convenient, and the service staff is thoughtful and enthusiastic. There are various restaurants to choose from around, or you can walk to the terminal building, where there are various small shops, small supermarkets, and duty-free shops, which can be suitable for different choices.

The room is nice, spacious and comfortable. Most importantly, it is opposite the airport terminal, which is very convenient and not noisy. The service staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Very stylish hotel in Hafencity, cool lactation. Amazingly decorated rooms. I paid 225 Euro for one night. What really turned me off, the breakfast is an additional 26 Euros. That feels like a ripoff. There are better high value for money alternatives than 25 Hours nearby. Will not return.

Room was nice, just the shutters opened unprompted during the night, although it was not windy. We found the breakfast to be a little on the pricy side.

About 10mins walk to the underground station, bus stops are just at outside of the hotel, easy transport links to attractions. Many homeless people sleeping near the hotel, I didn’t feel comfortable walking back to hotel in the evenings.  

Hotel is located in walking distance of Hamburg Hbf, which is very convenient! Small downside is, that there are quite some homeless people and ******* around these kind of areas. We observed a ****** who was checking out a stolen (?) bag for its content on two nights while we were walking back to the hotel. Clean, spacious, modern and comfortable rooms in a newish building just ten minutes walk from the main Hamburg train station. Location itself is slightly let down by a lack of nearby restaurants and bars in the nearby area although the hotel had a very pleasant top floor bar with nice music on TV screens with spectacular views and lovely staff.

We enjoyed our three nights. Spacious rooms and very kind personell. Fridge and coffee in the room. Easy to reach by metro, parking is a bit expensive at 30,-/night but if you take a P+R it is only 4,-/night.

Stay was ok. Room was too cold. Despite informing the same to the front desk in the morning, they did not take any action during the day. Finally, I insisted to get a heater at night. Breakfast was very average. Cut fruits did not seem fresh!

Checked in at just past 17:00 to be told my room was not yet cleaned. I waited over an hour before the room was ready without even an apology or compensation. Beautiful hotel right on the Elbe. Large rooms, we even had a view of the Elbe. The ferry stops right in front of the hotel, so it's easy to get into Hamburg. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. If we get the chance, we'll definitely come back.

A budget hotel next to the highway, nothing special, a little old, but the breakfast is OK.

Convenient parking, only 8 euros a night

The port city is very beautiful. This time I stayed in the suburbs, but it is very convenient to go anywhere in Germany if you have a car. This time I went to watch the European Cup and didn’t miss this city. If Germany has the opportunity to host the game again, I will take my family with me.

The hotel is in a good location with convenient public transportation. There are many dining options nearby and the breakfast is also good. There is a park nearby with beautiful scenery, suitable for walking. The environment is very quiet, suitable for people who like quiet. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the central railway station along the road that passes outside the main entrance. My room was very spacious and overlooked a side street so was incredibly quiet for a location so close to the train station. The breakfast was well stocked and offered a good choice for all diets. I would happily stay there again.

I believed most guests chose this hotel for its location, and yes, it has a great view of Speicherstadt. Other than that, there's not much to mention. The room is clean, but rather small, and the breakfast is tasty, but pricey.

Very nice and accommodating staff, the standard rooms are simple and excellent for single overnight stays. A bit difficult to get hold of food outside of the hotel's restaurant hours as there are not that many restaurants that are open late in the evening.

We stayed at the AMERON for 3 Nights and we really had a wonderful stay. Staff are very friendly and nice. Room was always very clean and tidy and towels were replaced without hesitation.
