I’m not sure if it’s just Hamburg Germany , but there’s not much to eat late at night opened for snacks & couldn’t go in the hotel anywhere to buy snacks neither after a certain time. The rooms are slightly outdated and a little bit musty. But the air conditioning works. The beds are a little bit hard. But the service is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is fantastic. Location is a bit out from the city center, but there is a station close by which is only a 10 minute commute! There is a supermarket near by, but not much else to be doing in the area. Good value for money and very conveniently located. Plenty of street parking is usually available in the surrounding area. It's a short 15-minute walk to the East Side Gallery, where you can see the 'Fraternal Kiss' mural. The property has three buildings, so make sure to ask the front desk which one your room is in before you head up, to save yourself an unnecessary walk.

This hotel is one of the best in Hamburg. Its location is a major highlight. The harbor, city center, Reeperbahn, Fish Market, and Speicherstadt are all within easy walking distance. The rooms are very clean, and the bathrooms have been renovated. We had a wonderful stay.

we spent one night on our trip to Denmark in this hotel. welcome by the reception was very cool. there is only one small lift to take your luggage to the room. room and bath room is small with no airco. breakfast buffet is very good. as the name of the hotel says it is vey close to the harbour.

Hotels in Hamburg were expensive during my stay, and this was no exception. I did not see before I booked that to access the hotel you have to walk 100 stairs up from the harbour side station. That or go to another station and walk past a homeless hostel near the Reeperbahn where lots of men were sitting drinking and waiting for the hostel to open. It's an incredible location in Hamburg with a staff always willing to help. However, the room lacked an electric kettle, which I'm just used to being in a hotel room, and neither the HDMI nor the casting worked on the TV. Minor details, but very important for some. All that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Very nice building, sort of small rooms but very clean and cozy ones. My room was in the 19th floor and you get the chance to have an awesome view of the city, though it'd be better if you could get a view of the lake nearby. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and I'll definitely try it in my next trips.

This hotel is huge and clean. The desk people are friendly and helpful. The hotel parking works well for me. My room is not very spacious but it’s okay for my one night in Hamburg. At the bar I order a well chilled and taste Riesling. It’s served with a smile.

This is a perfectly practical Hotel, a bit off the beaten track, but only a 15-20 min walk from the more central places o f Hamburg. The quarrell you migh have is that the aircondition was sub par, particularly considering the hot days/evenings of July. Huge mistake. We choose this place with friends to spend couple nights during Euro2024. Unfortunately it was a huge mistake. The bed is comfortable - that’s all of the pros list. No kettle to make coffee or tea in hotel room, even not a free bottle of water! You can choose water from minibar for 5€. Coffee in the lobby at 12:00? We had a nice stay, everything was super clean. We found the room a bit small for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids). Sofa bed wasn’t made so we called reception and someone came within 5MINS to fix this for us. We found the breakfast very expensive (78€ for 2 adults 2 children). Surprisingly, Holiday Inn Hamburgh was a perfect place which is 15 minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes to the city center. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. Great food also for breakfast and tasty crispy chicken burger.

Didn't realise how far out of centre hotel was located convenient for metro trains and airport

Everything great! We were a family and were placed on a connected family room, that was 2 rooms together, so we had 2 toilets. The rooms were a bit small, but the fact we had two was perfect! There is a disabled-parking bay right in fron tof the entracne just for the hotel, but it also has a direct bus connection with a station at the doorstep to Hamburgs main train-station and the old town. Very comfortable and quiet hotel for a good price. It is a bir far from the city center, but don’t worry, because you can easily take the bus 5 to Hbf or change to subway U3 to reach popular spots. I can recommend this hotel as a solo traveler.

Mixed review The team and service is fantastic They were also able to have me back after my flight got cancelled and team was so nice I realize this is very personal and different for everyone. During check-in waited for 30+ minutes. 2 employees helping one group check-in rather than help the rest. During check out waited 15+ minutes. Maybe they still use hieroglyphs in their computer system. And the pillows were just glorified blankets rolled up in a ball.

Good hotel - good location for Eppendorf, room meets all requirements for a great stay

Location: Bus stop in front of the hotel. You can reach the central station in half an hour. The hotel is quite clean, though the hotel itself is a bit old. The design of the bedside lamp is very uncomfortable. It’s not on the side but at the back of the bed. You may hurt your head or back if you want to leaning. We don’t have the time to enjoy the sauna or fitness so nothing to share about this.

This was a nice hotel. Location is just perfect! Right in the center of Hamburg, close to the main shopping street, lots of places around in walking distance. You can get there easily by car, public transport and of course taxi. From here you'll be able to do almost anything by foot in the center. Especially if you don't shy away from walking a bit. On of my favorites in Hamburg. Modern and very spacious rooms and architecture overall. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. The only thing to mention is that air-conditioning can be loud. The gym is small but very functional. Food/ Bar and Restaurant are great.
