The rooms are slightly outdated and a little bit musty. But the air conditioning works. The beds are a little bit hard. But the service is absolutely fantastic. I think it’s worth it overall

What could be improved? The room temperature in our room could have been colder; the temperature control was quite old, which made it hard to adjust accurately

Hamburger is quite a surprisingly beautiful city and this is in a lovely university area close to the museums. I would definitely return with my family

A very classic property, well-maintained. Our room overlooked the central courtyard, and it was ideal: very quiet and peaceful

Breakfast had a good variety; even though it was always busy, the staff managed the crowds well

It should be mentioned that a mini fridge is only available in suites. And please be aware that Berliner Tor is a permanent construction site. Don't plan to arrive at the hotel by train or subway

Good value for money, very good location near the railway station and breakfast on a terrace at the Canale Grande. While the place is a bit old fashioned I was completely happy with it! Would definitely recommend.

One of the best hotels I stayed in Hamburg. Space rooms, clean, great location, quiet place to rest and my dog was in heaven. Breakfast was good and it is opened long every day. Check out later than many other places

This hotel is very good in every place. The front desk was very enthusiastic when we arrived that night. They introduced the hotel's features and found comfortable pillows and quilts for us

The hygiene and surrounding environment were also good. However, the only drawback was that there was no exercise room and breakfast was served outside the hotel, not inside the hotel

The hotel location is perfect, but the parking fee at the hotel is quite expensive, as it operate by other, APCOA. Public facilities are a bit aging e. swimming pool and gym, however, equipments are in good maintenance

No toothbrush, no toothpaste, and when I ask the staff to bring me water to my room they said I have to come down to get it

The hotel is generally OK but unfortunately they are happy to take a deposit upon check-in, which they do not return without intervention. I had to intervene twice to get the deposit back

We always like to stay at the Europäischer Hof when we're in Hamburg. All the staff are very professional and well-trained. It's centrally situated and the breakfast is amazing.

Look and feel is old but service good and clean rooms

First hotel I ever been to in my life. Was staying in it with my parents when I was 9. Can only recommend. Especially the Rutsche. :) And breakfast was amazing then also!

Arcotel Rubin made our stay in Hamburg pleasant and marvellous  They welcome us and allowed us early checked in and upgraded our Junior suite to full suite The suite was immaculate with beverages on the house Overall stay was perfect and would be our first choice hotel if ever we return to Hamburg

Fast and friendly check-in, very spacious room with bath tub and shower, very comfortable bed, huge variety of food for breakfast and great location with direct access to public transport and 15 minutes walk to main train station

I didn't have breakfast and the room had a capsule machine but no kettle. Otherwise it was a really great stay and I am looking forward to staying here again. I walked to different restaurants in the area

There is a ton of shopping, groceries, movie theater at the Westfield Mall just a 5 min walk from the hotel

Stayed here 2 nights for a business trip. A nice 25 min walk from the Central Station

Check in done very quickly, the rooms can be easily accessed by lifts or stairs. Good size room and bathroom, there is a fridge in the room if needed. The shower in the bathroom was good size and worked well

I asked the front desk for a bottle of water and they told me to go to the bar next door to buy one.

Satisfied, the hotel is in a good location, the hotel has a refrigerator, which is very pleasant, and free drinks

If you appreciate comfortable, clean rooms and piece and quiet from your hotel and good night sleep, this hotel is the right one. Nearby you can find not so expensive and good parking place for your car (Messehallen).

Convenient location in the city of hamburg

Modern and very spacious rooms and architecture overall. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. The only thing to mention is that air-conditioning can be loud. The gym is small but very functional

Location is just perfect! Right in the center of Hamburg, close to the main shopping street, lots of places around in walking distance. You can get there easily by car, public transport and of course taxi

Near to the hotel you'll find a lot of restaurants, if you don't want to dine in the excellent restaurant at the hotel. This time I was upgraded to a suite, and that was very satisfying, containing everything you need

I asked the front desk to order a taxi on Sunday, but they said there was no reply after calling them. The next day, a foreigner asked them to order a taxi and said it would be there soon

I don’t know if there is any reason for this. This hotel is self-service and there will be no one to help with luggage. Girls need to consider this if they have a lot of luggage

First the positives: - We were warmly welcomed to hotel. I mentioned it was my birthday and so there were a few little touches - a small cake in the room, and later some complimentary refreshments

My room was very spacious and overlooked a side street so was incredibly quiet for a location so close to the train station. The breakfast was well stocked and offered a good choice for all diets

My son is learning German and he also said that he mainly wanted to see if this city called Hamburg invented the hamburger, and whether the hamburger is delicious? So I brought my child here to have a look

Right next to the small train station, subway station and bus station, very convenient. The sanitation and facilities are also very good, and the price-performance ratio is very high

The front desk team looked after me, I had a welcome plate of cake and fruit when I checked in and on Christmas Eve, I was spoiled further with goodies in my room

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our two young children. The location is extremely convenient, being very close to the Lübecker Straße subway station

It only takes more than 20 minutes to get to the airport by subway. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, and the scenery of Hamburg is pretty good

The room was huge and I had not noise interrupting my well. It was easy to walk downtown and decently priced

One of my favorite hotels that makes business travel much more enjoyable! Starts with a fantastic breakfast with high quality and tasty dishes from omelette and eggs Benedict to their buffet with ample choice of bread, cheese, very fresh peeled fruits, fish etc etc and your usual bacon eggs pancakes etc

Top notch hotel, wish I could bring my family

I loved the menu to choose from which included different hot dishes and also coffee varieties plus healthy drink options. The egg Benedict was disappointing though with veeery liquid egg yolk and even solid egg white

The room looks a little boutique but old though not worn. One bottle of water was provided for us which I think should be 2 at least and refilled during the day even without cleaning service

It's close to the central station and easy to get to, and the rooms are spacious and clean, so I'm very satisfied. The staff were friendly and I had a great time. I'd like to stay here again.

The special cocktails were ON POINT! The wait staff were super friendly and you can watch your food getting cooked in front of you. The price was a little expensive but I promise that the food was worth the price

Our particular thanks go to Darko the barman (hope he has recovered) who made us feel very welcome on Christmas Day, the breakfast team who looked after us every morning at the crack of dawn, and the receiption team who made it possible for us to extend our room into the evening of our departure day, despite it being New Year's Eve and the hotel being busy

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel and while the rooms are a bit on the narrow side, the outstanding service more than makes up for it

The staff here are truly exceptional—by far the best service I have ever experienced in a hotel. From the moment we checked in, the reception team was welcoming, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile

The only downside was the ground-floor restaurant — when we visited in summer, there was no air conditioning, which made it quite uncomfortable

The hotel had placed a baby cot into one of our rooms, including a baby bathrobe and cleaning amenities (even including diapers!!!) - in addition, also during our breakfast and dinner the team was very kind and supportive, looking after us extremely well

At the hotel the access to the bar and the restaurnat for breakfast is all flat as well and our room was spacious and well-adapted. The hotel is located directly next to the large university clinic in Hamburg-Eppendorf

To get to the harbour you just need to change once from that bs to tpo the underground, all wheelchair-accessible

There is a disabled-parking bay right in fron tof the entracne just for the hotel, but it also has a direct bus connection with a station at the doorstep to Hamburgs main train-station and the old town

The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a incredibly comfortable bed and a fantastic view. The location is also ideal for both enjoying the beautiful Alster lake and accessing the city center

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Hamburg - City Alster was absolutely superb. From the moment I arrived, the elegant and professional atmosphere was noticeable

Staff is polite, room and hotel are clean. Rooms were cleaned with fresh towels, beds made and tea and instant coffee replenished. Did not make use of gym, sauna or food, but these are all available.

Very spacious, excellent location. Great breakfast spread. Parking is a bit pricey though, and limited electric car charging facilities.
