Very nice and fency hotel. Big rooms with all the comforts. Car valet offered plus concierge. A good standard 5 stars hotel. Breakfast is complete however the drink service is really slow, to be improved!

I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday at the hotel and the hotel recognised this in the best possible way by putting a bottle of champagne in the room. A marvellous hotel that has earned all its stars

The staff are friendly, but compared to the number of rooms and guests, theres too little staff at the service desk, so you usually would end up waiting in line for any inquiries

We loved our stay at the Grand Elysée. Our room was spacious, the restaurants and bars were really good, and the staff was so kind to us and our three-year-old daughter

We couldn't have been happier with our time in Hamburg and a big part of the reason the trip was such a success was everyone at the Grand Elysée making us feel right at home

My family and I stayed in Grand Élysée Hotel for 2 nights and 3 days when we visited Hamburg, Germany. The hotel is luxurious and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean

The saunas and swimming pool were also on par excellence with all of the details thought out including water. I wish the hotel lobby bar was open a little later and that it was a little cozier

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, spacious rooms with good beds. Fantastic location, close to the city center, the train station and shopping district. Breakfast was absolutely marvelous, with plenty of choice.

This made everything a little cramped in the room and was almost ready to ask for a „downgrade“ so we were not on top of each other. Probably not the right decision for a mid tier Bonvoy member upgrade

Moia is the more luxurious and less expensive alternative to uber in Hamburg. You will pay city tax ( Hamburg tax) per night for your stay. Would highly recommend - great stay for families or couples

I booked this hotel because was close to Laeiszhalle where I was attending to a concert. I arrived before the check-in time (3pm) and they still tried their best to give me a room

Best hotel breakfast ever. Rooms are spacious and clean. The view is probably nice but it's the time of the year where Hamburg is in a layer of permanent fog so I wouldn't know.

Room was nice, just the shutters opened unprompted during the night, although it was not windy. We found the breakfast to be a little on the pricy side.

The hotel's location was perfect, 7 mins walk to Europa passage shopping center and many other shops and restaurants. Also, it’s 5 mins walk to subway station. Overall, my stay was exceptional

It took us about 30 to 40 minutes to walk to the old town. There was also a good walking tour. The people were friendly and respectful

Located in the heart of Hamburg, large, spacious rooms. The swimming pool, sauna and fitness are perfect. Martin from Reception, very professional and competent. A Hotel that forces you to return to this fascinating city

The pool was great for in-between activities, though the water was a bit too cold for our liking. The service was fantastic, and we loved everything about our stay! Oh- the waffles were to die for

Absolutely fabulous experience, from Laura on the front desk checking me in and being incredibly accommodating throughout my stay, to Emma checking me out and being equally as fantastic, everything went right and there was nothing the hotel did not do to help and accomodate

The bar staff, particularly the wonderful Charlotte, Alberto and Evan were so attentive and just all round wonderful. Even going so far as to triple check if each menu item was suitable for me to eat

By 7:30pm I called a second time and they said it was still on its way and by 8:00pm it finally arrived! The next day we came back to our room that had been cleaned nicely, but all the dirty towels and bathrobs were gone and not replaced! Had to call the front desk for a 3rd time to request our bathrobes and towels be replaced so we could shower/bathe

While the rooms we had were very nice, and extremely spacious, but make sure you have the outward facing ones, as the view to the inside isn't great. I attended a concert, purchased a vinyl and forget it in the room

They were super kind and sent it to me via post, packaged extremely well and I received it without any damage

Shopping and options to buy water or healthy snacks are limited. The location is perfect if you are going to the Elb philharmonic halls, just a few meters across from the hotel on the 8th floor plaza

The pool is really cool and long enough to swim, sauna and steam sauna are also big and nice, relaxing area with a beautiful view into the Port

A very pleasant and calming experience at the edge of hopping Sankt Georg and just steps from the Alster. The neighborhood offers everything from good restaurants to lake swimming and long river walks

An affordable hotel with amazing service. It does not have AC, but the receptionist made her best to accommodate me. The rooms are simple and tidy. Sauna, gym, pool table and other entertainment included

So close to everything you need to do and visit in Hamburg. Great staff, very helpful and willing to be so. Rooms are a little outdated, but not just clean, Monica Clean. Good breakfast and well priced.

We had an amazing stay here this week! Our penthouse suite room was a really great value and offered a nice break in between sightseeing in Hamburg

It has a spacious balcony with views of the TV tower, Planten un Blomen park, Schanzen Turm, and the planetarium in the Stadt Park

I went to Hamburg to work on Thursday and Friday, and then spent the rest of the weekend just enjoying. The hotel is perfectly situated, reached directly by the Train from the Airport. it's also near to the City centre

Stayed for couple weeks few years back, it was clean, near to city and walking distance to company and clients offices. In evening plenty of busy restaurants nearby for good dinner choices.

Near to the hotel you'll find a lot of restaurants, if you don't want to dine in the excellent restaurant at the hotel. This time I was upgraded to a suite, and that was very satisfying, containing everything you need

We arrived in Hamburg via the QM2, and the hotel sent a car and a van for our luggage to the pier! Upon arriving, the doormen quickly unloaded our bags, storing most of them and sending only the ones we needed up to our room

Great variety of tasty food (including smoked salmon and other type of fish). The staff was walking around trying to give us everything we needed, and they also served us delicious coffee

The hotel is located on a busy street - a lot of fruit/vegetable shops, kebab restaurants and oriental sweet shops, with a big crowd of people during work hours

The bed and pillows in our room were comfortable, the sound insulation was good (almost no sound from the street or hailway). We had a small fridge as well

The only thing missing in our room was a water cooker (having coffee in our room would have been really nice). The breakfast was the highlight of our stay

The shower configuration -perhaps an architectural statement (in the middle of the room -caged glass construction) is not appealing to every one, and the towels are thin and not pampering

The special cocktails were ON POINT! The wait staff were super friendly and you can watch your food getting cooked in front of you. The price was a little expensive but I promise that the food was worth the price

HOWEVER - this time my trip has been significantly better than my first trip because of the outstanding service from Nikolas! He works at the front desk and his hospitality has significantly upgraded my experience

Hotel costs are in no relation to extremely expensive parking costs. Why? Service excellent, Breakfast quite okay, local beer and good Burger. Would recommend the Hotel except the costs for car parking
