Reviews
Rooms were clean and good. Bed was ok. Free wifi had enough bandwidth for watching some streams.
There was a small kitchen with microwave and a capsule coffee maker.
A small fridge for a few 1.5 liter bottles and stuff.
A safe big enough for a 14" notebook.
We booked online and they had options like 2 single beds and 1 queen bed . We booked 1 queen bed and still got 2 singles placed together ( 80cm x 200cm). We talked to reception and they said the hotel doesn't have any room that has only 1 bed and that they could ask house keeping about fixing the sheets so the beds wouldn't move ( they also don't have a frame ) but when we came back they had not fix it. The covers are very narrow confortable for kids I assume but I am 1.7m and 75 kilos and my husband is 1.85m and 90 kilos and when we where sleeping the individual bed covers wouldn't cover our bodies. Beds moved during the night and my husband almost fell all the way through.
Staff is friendly but if you are tall and or heavy you won't enjoy sleeping here.
The room didn’t have a kitchenette, which we expected, and there wasn’t really anywhere to hang or store our clothes, which made unpacking a bit tricky for a longer stay.
That said, the beds were super comfy—exactly what we needed after a long day. Breakfast was okay—small selection but they had a mini pancake maker (my favorite!) and plenty of cappuccino machines. Overall, a cozy spot for a quick stay, just a few small things to be aware of.
Good location too. You can get uber or taxi by apps below the hotel and walk to some supermarkets and ccentral train station at Mainz (7-12 mnts)
Location OK, 1km+ from the station and start of the old town - this walk got a little tedious after a while.
Room clean and largely sound proofed. The tiny, thin, single duvet was largely ineffective and did little to keep the body warm at night. The pillows were just as bad.
I didn't eat breakfast here and was going to have an evening meal until I saw that the menu only consisted of pizza and sandwiches.
Hotel clean and room of a reasonable size and equipped with a sink and microwave as well as the usual hotel room effects.
I think that if I was staying in Mainz again I'd pick somewhere closer to the old town, and somewhere with better evening meal options and much better bedding.
Very nice location - bus stops not so far away ( 5 minutes to bus stop and approx 11-13 min to main central station )
We had lunch included ( approx 17-18 euros per day for a person ) and it was very good too.
Very satisfying stay !
Rooms have only single beds connected together, literally the worst sleep i have ever had in a hotel, why isn't there one big bed ???
The worst kind of mattress and pillows, like the lowest quality, i had pain all over my neck and back for days.
I tried the breakfast once at 9 am, most of the food was finished and either they did not refill or they were very slow, coffee was bad.
Not even coffee or tea available in the room, neither a water kettle to heat water in case you wanted to buy your own drink, if you want any kind of drink you have to pay money for it, and the prices are like beach resort !!
TV remote doesn't work and the internet, oh my god the internet was horrible, it was like from 10 years ago.
For this price i paid, definitely not worth it at all, never again !
People at the reception are friendly.
