Overall a nice stay, but a few things to note for first-timers! It was a bit confusing to find at first—it’s labeled as the niu on the outside, not Holiday Inn, so we didn’t realize we were at the right place right away. We arrived late, and parking was hard to come by, so plan to arrive earlier if you can.

The room didn’t have a kitchenette, which we expected, and there wasn’t really anywhere to hang or store our clothes, which made unpacking a bit tricky for a longer stay.

That said, the beds were super comfy—exactly what we needed after a long day. Breakfast was okay—small selection but they had a mini pancake maker (my favorite!) and plenty of cappuccino machines. Overall, a cozy spot for a quick stay, just a few small things to be aware of.

Nice good place for short stay. We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). Had to take two rooms adjascent to each other. Neat rooms. Enough space (not like those botique hotels) and with lift access. Towels are provided. Rooms cleaned everyday. Bring your soap, tooth brush, paste etc.

Good location too. You can get uber or taxi by apps below the hotel and walk to some supermarkets and ccentral train station at Mainz (7-12 mnts)

Staff pleasant and friendly.
Location OK, 1km+ from the station and start of the old town - this walk got a little tedious after a while.
Room clean and largely sound proofed. The tiny, thin, single duvet was largely ineffective and did little to keep the body warm at night. The pillows were just as bad.
I didn't eat breakfast here and was going to have an evening meal until I saw that the menu only consisted of pizza and sandwiches.
Hotel clean and room of a reasonable size and equipped with a sink and microwave as well as the usual hotel room effects.
I think that if I was staying in Mainz again I'd pick somewhere closer to the old town, and somewhere with better evening meal options and much better bedding.

We have stayed here for 1 week. Rooms are cleaned daily. Not that noisy from trains unless you have a window opened ( we had a room windows against offices and train rails)

Very nice location - bus stops not so far away ( 5 minutes to bus stop and approx 11-13 min to main central station )

We had lunch included ( approx 17-18 euros per day for a person ) and it was very good too.

Very satisfying stay !

not good at all!
Rooms have only single beds connected together, literally the worst sleep i have ever had in a hotel, why isn't there one big bed ???
The worst kind of mattress and pillows, like the lowest quality, i had pain all over my neck and back for days.

I tried the breakfast once at 9 am, most of the food was finished and either they did not refill or they were very slow, coffee was bad.

Not even coffee or tea available in the room, neither a water kettle to heat water in case you wanted to buy your own drink, if you want any kind of drink you have to pay money for it, and the prices are like beach resort !!

TV remote doesn't work and the internet, oh my god the internet was horrible, it was like from 10 years ago.
For this price i paid, definitely not worth it at all, never again !

People at the reception are friendly.

the hotel itself is pretty cool. Unfortunately, even though I had the “do not disturb”-card in my handle, somebody just asked themselves in twice. Breakfast was pretty good, but unfortunately some dude gave me an attitude because I wanted some yoghurt an hour after leaving breakfast. Apparently the 12€ breakfast needs to be eaten in one sitting specifically. Weird. Also my room was right next to the Main Street even though I asked for a quiet one :-/
But nice staff mostly, everything clean and neat.

Clean, accessible, affordable prices, friendly cast

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights during a conference in the city.
The hotel is nicely decorated, the breakfast is very varied and it is open for a long time in the mornings. I specially liked the lounge in the basement of the hotel where you can work, have some food (pizza or flam kuchen) and coffee or play kicker.

The hotel has the downside that there are no desks in the bedroom and the wifi connection in the rooms is quite bad in the evenings. So if you need to work, you have to do it in the lunge downstairs. However, the music downstairs is quite loud all day, I had to take a couple of short meetings and i asked if they could lower the volume of the music, but they indicated is not possible. Even with headphones it was very hard to participate in the meetings as my coworkers were indicating that the music in the background was too loud, the other option is to take the meetings from your bed, if the wifi connection would allow. This was at 8 in the morning on a Wednesday.

I dont recommend the hotel if you have to work.

Other than that, i liked my stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean cosy rooms. Location is not perfect, but plenty of parking and easy to find

The hotel is hip and trendy. The rooms are basic, clean, comfortable and had a box of games which was a nice added touch. We were located in a room that overlooked the street and cemetery. Even though it looked onto a busier street, the room was quiet when the window was closed. Unfortunately, the soap in the shower hadn’t been refilled and there was only 1 towel holder in the bathroom so we had to use the coat rack.

The location is good, its approx. a 20 minute walk into Alstadt, approx. a 10 minute walk into Neustadt and approx. a 10 minute walk to the main train station.

Staff were polite however when we asked questions about the area they either didn’t know or gave us incorrect information. They also didn’t inform us about hotel parking until checkout which was unfortunate. We arrived a few hours before check in, we asked if the room was ready and if it were possible to check in early. We were informed that we could check in early for a 15 euro fee. We just wanted a place to store our bags so they were kind enough to store them for us.

Overall the accommodation is good but we were disappointed with the lack of customer service.
