Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana Hammock - Adults-Only, A Karisma Island Reserve Inclusive Resort

Just come back from our second visit. Family trips for summer holiday. We had a swim up suite on the wave (family friendly side) but it’s all interlinked with the hammock (adults only) section so the review will apply to most of the same stuff.
The room was lovely cleaned everyday to a good standard and there was a turndown service most evenings. There is a fridge but you only get water in it refreshed daily. You can fill it using a points system which got get at the start of your trip (so many per day you stay). You can spend them in the coffee shop which has cold drinks (water, coke, sprite and similar) or beers just be aware if you get bottles they need a bottle opener and there isn’t one in the room. There is also a few different snacks as well.
The pools were lovely and two of them are very quiet, some days there was just the three of us. The swim up bar pool was busier and much louder at times.
The restaurants were lovely with really good staff. Special mention to Jonathan in the Italian and Lois in the buffet amongst others. The steak house was our favourite though never a bad meal.
Evenings are reasonably quiet and not a great deal for party lovers however it suited us and we were really well looked after by Hellen in the compass bar who ensured we were never without a drink.

We have stayed all over the world traveling for both business and pleasure and this resort was awesome! Edwardo also know as Fast Eddie at the pool was amazing keeping our drinks full. Never once did I have to ask for a refill. To the staff at Margaritaville….keep Fast Eddie no matter what! Made our vacation perfect!

Our stay at Azul Beach Resort was absolutely AMAZING! It was my first time out of the country and I felt so comfortable with the Azul. Jeffrey our concierge was the most helpful and Gabriel our brand ambassador was so welcoming and assisting as well. The customer service was the most OUTSTANDING service I have ever had in my life - and I used to work in customer service. Restaurants were delicious and service was the best ever. A few staff members at the Azul Beach Resort said “If you’re happy, I’m happy.” Also, the excursions were such a fun time, we did the Scape Park & Dune Buggies with the Caves. This place is the perfect mix of fun and relaxation! Absolutely incredible overall!

My family and I had an amazing time at this hotel! Melissa checked us in, she was very nice and friend, & explained everything about the property. My husband and I had a blast with Felipe at the bar, he’s really funny! Food and service was great at all the restaurants. I love that they have 24/7 room service. Eddy AKA “Fast Eddy”, Luz, Wendy, Michael, and Richard were amazing bringing us food and anything else that we needed by the pool. Great live entertainment every night. I recommend this hotel and hoping we can come back soon!

This resort is beautiful, but brand new, and still finding its way. The pools are gorgeous, and the children’s pool is adorable (complete with toddler-sized lounge chairs). The rooms are modern with an understated elegance and gorgeous shower! The private white sand beach has plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and Bali beds.
The staff was delightful, especially Johan! Johan (the pool butler) is amazing!!! He made me feel like such a special guest, but not just me - - he treated all guests in the same amazing way! Warm and friendly and attentive.

My experience at Azul was exceptional, we upgraded our room to a beachfront with swim up pool and it was well worth it. The waitstaff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was amazing and there is 24 hour room service, which we took advantage of a few times and always had amazing meals. There are many pools to choose from and our Butler Johan at the main pool made our experience worthwhile. He was so friendly and attentive to our needs. He even saw us grabbing our own towels and went out of his way to get the towels and set them up on our chairs for us. Every time he saw that we were running low on drinks he came over with a new drink. The service overall has been nothing but amazing, and the entire staff are so friendly. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.
They have a great set up with cabanas and chairs, however the sand and water is not the quality of a typical Caribbean resort. We spent most of our time at the pool, which has ample chairs, umbrellas, restaurants, and staff to take care of you!
