BEWARE OF THIS RESORT! JEWELRY WAS STOLEN.
Upon checking out on our last day, I noticed my Diamond bracelet, earrings, and ring was missing. We spoke with the front desk and they came up to the room with security to do a “check” and “report” they of course found nothing and assured us that it was very detailed process. Jordi- rooms division manager (should be fired) has not bothered to contact us after many attempted calls & emails, and leaving messages with the front desk. We haven’t seen a copy of this report either.
This is a luxury resort where you go on vacation to relax and you book with these types of hotels to not worry about your items to be stolen by room service. There’s absolutely no customer service. I would definitely spend my vacation and money elsewhere. 0 out of 10.

Very nice place, beautiful beach and pool areas. The beach is on a calm area of water, I prefer waves, but others seemed to really like it. My room and the service I received was great. I had one dinner at an on-site restaurant and was not impressed, steaks were not cooked very well, either not enough, or a little too much. No one was really happy with the meal.

Anyone between the ages of 12 and 30 will HATE this place. Think secluded, safe, quiet, manicured, boring. A luxury splurge for the middle class. Bring books for the gorgeous pool and beach. Solid dinner options, a nearby spa, scenic bike paths…and pickleball. The always-helpful and tip-hungry staff will appreciate if you arrive with a stack of small bills.

Let's start with the positives, the locations can't be beat, the resort is truly exceptional.

However, not everyone knows how to make a good cocktail. Find a server who knows and keep finding him. There is a lot of confusion about what is included in the resort fee. The location is great, the staff is generally helpful, however, they do like to nickel and dime you.. the half liter water bottle costs 5$. The taxi ride to the restaurants nearby is 20$ and it is literally only 2-3 km away.

This resort was phenomenal, and just what I needed. I actually relaxed, which is nearly unheard of. Gorgeous views, immaculately clean, and the best breakfast buffet I have ever had, bar none (and that includes European hotels). The staff were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. I travel extensively, and this resort was the most peaceful and relaxing place I've ever been. If you're looking for partying and a "spring break like atmosphere", this is not the place. A couple of travel tips: bring a water purifying water bottle, if possible. Only water from the restaurant and bottled water are "safe", and buying bottled water could get expensive. Bring small US dollar denominations for tips. Everyone I encountered preferred being tipped in USD than Dominican pesos. Highly recommend and will return.

Beautiful. Smaller resort. Very clean. Food was over priced but you know that going into a resort, overall pretty good.
Kids were there, but it was low key. Good for a wedding or smaller family reunion or just to chill on the beach & relax, golf etc. would go back!

Very nice beach. We had a great oceanside suite. Breakfast for free with titantium.

Perfect Sisters' Trip in December!
Had an unforgettable 4 days at the resort! It's stunning - the rooms are large with wonderful bathrooms, generous sized terraces and lovely bedrooms. The beach and pool are gorgeous - never had an issue getting lounge chairs. The Caribbean Ocean is a perfect temperature and the color...The staff is incredible! Shout out to Alexander at the front desk, Jonathan at the beach bar, Luis at Kite Bar, Yorkardy the concierge, Willy at La Yola - everyone was so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

I've had airplane cancellations and troubles half a dozen times. I always default to the Westin. It's immaculate, the beds are, well, heavenly and the service is always consistently fantastic.
Also, the staff here caters to a 95% American crowd so if your Spanish isn't great, they speak near perfect English here with every staff member. They are all school trained.

Nice standard room. Great service. Seaweed too much when there. Pool very nice. Best thing was free included lagoons trip - which after living in DR for 2.5 years, visiting many places - was coolest thing ever. Unfortunately we learned they are going charge $80 tourist /$40 locals moving forward. Were it not for this, our trip wasn’t worth it since seaweed so bad we couldn’t get in water. Management should rethink this. The steakhouse and food and beverages on site - ridiculous prices. Avoid. Go to town. If they charge the lagoon, I won’t go back. Overall, standard room nice pool
