TRS Cap Cana Waterfront & Marina Hotel - Adults Only in Punta Cana

From the moment we entered the hotel, the manager checked us in as if he were doing us a favor, with a dismissive and inattentive attitude. The hotel is in a deplorable state: the surroundings are a dump, with debris, trash, and torn-off light fixtures, all completely abandoned.

The main pool had cloudy, milky water, and unless you were intoxicated, you wouldn't go in. There's no shade around it, just sun loungers without even a tarp over them. The hotel also has a sort of beach, but with contaminated water. To access a real beach, they offer shuttles twice a day, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., to the Juanillo public beach, where you'll have to pay for chairs and umbrellas, as the hotel doesn't have a beach club.

They assigned us a butler, but his only role was to make dinner reservations, which didn't make sense since there was only one restaurant open at night. Furthermore, only half of the dishes on the menu were available.

Due to a family emergency, we had to leave the next day. Once again, the manager's service was rude, and they refused to refund us for the unused nights, citing an inflexible cancellation policy that seemed more like an insensitive one. I wish they were just as strict with hotel maintenance, customer service, and humane treatment.

I won't return and I don't recommend it to anyone. It was an unpleasant experience.
