A nice place to have a restful vacation with many amenities for those who want to have a bit more fun. Clean and very comfortable rooms. the beach area was not that impressive maybe due to the time of the year but overall worth going

This Resort is a little outdated. I’ve heard that they are turning it into condominiums and the chain is building a new resort nearby. It is small. The buffet has limited options. They have theme restaurants for which you don’t need a reservation which is nice. There’s only one big pool and a smaller one. the setup of this resort is not conducive to visiting the beach. As a matter of fact, they recommend you to enjoy the pool instead of the beach. The service received at all restaurants, the bartenders, the front desk, the cleaning staff was great. Unfortunately though, I don’t think I will be going back to the resort. I was impressed.

This was our second time at this resort and it was just as good as our last visit. We are absolutely devastated for it to be closing at the end of April. It's the perfect location, perfect size and the food is always so good!

We requested the same room as last time as in my opinion it's the best location (16103, SunClub family section) and we got it! Obviously requests aren't guaranteed, but they definitely came through for us 😃.

The room we booked is SO big (basically two rooms made into one), so there is tons of room for activities. We had a minor issue with our A/C, but it was fixed very quickly!

Carlos in the family SunClub restaurant/bar is an absolute delight. I remembered him from our last trip and his infectious smile and "happy happy!" tag line didn't no unnoticed! Also, another gentleman named Carlos who works at the front and assists with guests coming/going/taking bags to and from their room was phenomenal. He was so kind and hustled to ensure all our bags (including my husband's "precious" golf clubs) were delivered safely to our room.

We genuinely love every single thing about this place and haven't had a complaint either time we've been.

Just got back, and i was a bit disappointed. There wasn’t too much going on and it felt like there was a lot of lost potential/they stopped caring. The rooms were decent although the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and we rarely had hot water. The bartenders at most of the bars gave off very cold and annoyed vibes and the staff at the snack bar almost acted like we were ruining their day by just existing. I would go out of my way not to inconvenience the staff by asking too much, but even asking for a drink to be non alcoholic would seem like an annoying request to them.

My experience at the restaurant called Windows was always great. The staff in there were always super friendly and the food was wonderful.

If you are looking for a true 4 star resort, I would keep looking. This was more of a 3 star.

Only had a day pass here, so no room review. This property is immaculate. The beach was great, the pool was good, the staff was friendly, courteous, and energetic. The food was just OK but the cocktails were very good. Definitely worth the fee if you're in the Dominican Republic, we plan on returning.

Great value for the price. Buffet is good, lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, rice and beans, pizza . Coco cafe had almond milk for cappuccinos. Beach is great. Terrible wifi so if that is important then bring your own. Rooms are tired but the beds are comfortable, mini fridge is stocked with beer and water. Hot water tends to run out at peak times. If you aren't picky it's a great place. Many returning visitors. I would go back

We were at Sunscape from December 26th to January 3rd. It's a beautiful Resort. Very clean. Our housekeeper was amazing. We did find the buffet to be extremely repetitive. Food always cold. We found the staff in the buffet restaurant to not to be very friendly. Chase them down a couple of times to get a coffee in the morning. One time the lady told me to go back to my seat and somebody will come. Which they never did. Left the restaurant many times without even a coffee for breakfast. Specialty restaurants food was just okay. We spent most of are meals at the Pizzeria. I will give credit where do the pizza was amazing but extremely slow and the snack bar in the afternoon was good. I actually lost 3 lb while on vacation.

Nice week, since we could spend it on the beach! Beautiful sunrise, sunny days. The site is nice, however it’s a bit rundown. The rooms could use an update. Buffet was repetitive, food was cold. The servers in the buffet ignored you, most were unfriendly and had to be chased for basics such as cutlery, water, drinks.
Coco cafe best place in the resort. The only great staff was the bar crew on the beach.
Our room, two twin beds! (couples week) We slept on one of the beds glued to each other so we wouldn't fall off of it! AC not working, room was as warm as the outside.
Ceiling fan was a little help. The wi-fi connection is not very good unless you're in the main lobby area. Beach was nice, chairs should be replaced. Some looked like an elephant was sleeping in it, ripped fabric on some. I wouldn't recommend this resort.

As an Indian, food was okay for me. Service was good without any complaints. But restaurants had long waiting time for dinner. Buffet was repetitive, they should add more variety of cuisines. Coco cafe was the best place in the resort.
