I loved it their my family vacation reunion was great and the stuff made it even better With ther amazing hospitality and the activities guys by the pool aerobic and dance and contest were great 👍 congratulations and see you again planing girls trip with my lady's here. Recommend to all this place. Ohh and the drink at the bar monitor passion fruit it was 👌 super

Had a great time here. Didn’t stay in there hotel we stop from a cruise. At the beach we had a bartender that went above and beyond to make sure we had a fresh and cold drinks at all times.

This resort is okay with a few exceptions that might make or break your experience. First of all the room is very beautiful, you have very cold air conditioning, a smart TV, and a very nice balcony to sit outside. We had several issues with our room beginning with the bathroom which had two leaks coming from the room upstairs. Although we were not staying too long we decided to overlook this. Secondly, the room had a serious fly problem. At night I had to use mosquito repellent on myself and the entire bed area in order to be left alone by the mosquitoes, not even the AC was able to get them to stay away. Now onto the hotel. The food was good, and the customer service was good as well. The only issue I had was that they had an issue with running out of drinks in every bar I went to, and the wait time was between 30 minutes to an hour for them to restock. I find that a little ridiculous since this is what you do all day, why allow the item to fully finish before ordering your next batch? This for me was very disappointing because I have been to many resorts in the past, and being out of stock was never an issue. Apart from that the hotel is a decent stay, nothing exceptional, but nothing terrible either, just in the middle.

Nice but need updating. Bar tenders overwhelmed with very small crowd. Main pool bar thatch roof is ugly with large holes (Gran Ventana Resort).

The food was very good. The room was pretty, but was not properly cleaned and stocked. Pool bar ran out of favorite drink after me getting 3 drinks and never restocked, the concierge assigned to us did not care for us as customers he just saw us as a commission, he didn’t file our complaints neither was interested in doing so. There is a kids pool which is nice.

on our recent family vacation, we had a wonderful time at the resort. Rooms are comfortable and clean, room service is five stars. ***** and you can also dine at Italian, Mexican and Dominican restaurant, you can choose to sit at the beach and enjoy their full service snack restaurant. I gave the resort a full 5 star...Thank you general manager Henry Uloa, for taking time to look after your guests, i personally want to thank him for his his help. The photo shop (Mr.Manny) helped us with our photo shoot. Thank you. helpful for Great time ! lots of activities at the pool for everyone.

We stayed at Viva Heavens. The room was good, considering most of our time was spent at the pool or on the beach.
I wish there was shade in the pool during the day, but there are places to be in the shade around the pool.
Food and staff are amazing.
Overall, excellent and I would consider coming back.

DO NOT read the reviews from folks who travel here from within the D.R ( Latin Names)
Read the ones from Canadians, Americans etc ..
This hotel exceeded our expectations tenfold!
From the minute we walked into our room..
Awesome showers with walk-in, very large with 3 powerful heads.
No pressure issues here with water.
Nice balcony, nice cold mini fridge that was replenished frequently with beer, pop and water.
Excellent cold air conditioning.
Room was very clean and cleaned daily.
We stayed in the Adults only section and there are signs stating this and this was acknowledged by everyone, it was truly an Adults only section with no one trying any funny business with kids.
Buffet was excellent!
Not repetitive, something different everyday with lots of taste and not bland.
We visited the Italian A La Carte and the Mexican both were delicious and again exceeded our expectations.
We had a late flight in and they kept the buffet open for all of us with plenty of hot food with lots options that evening.
We had a late flight flying home, check out is at noon, but they supply - if you ask with a hospitality suite where you can shower and clean up before heading out to the airport, this was really awesome.
We are returning next spring to this resort.

I stayed from March 29 to March 31, a family of five, when I first got there I check in and there was a huge line. So I ask to stay two nights and when I went to cayó arena on my own, not on the tour, they give me q text to tell me that they only charge me for one night. So when I did to pay online they said my reservation wasn’t there because it was sold out, no discount no nothing how you have a website and you don’t have a room how is it. Then when I paid the price they wanted to pay security come knocking saying that the room was suppose to be empty we told her please call front desk he did left and didn’t bother anymore. And also if I wasn’t suppose to be there how do I have key that open the door. Then they let us stay in the same room we was. The next day at 9:30 housekeeping never knocked the door and just open the door while we were naked she said we were t suppose to be out of the room. I told her it 9:30 am how she figure that knock before you go in any room..to clean a room. No one was check out. They run in to look for tips..
Overall: staff were super duper nice they stare a lot and talk about people whereas you can hear them..
