Hotel Riazor in Santo Domingo

Great location. Horrible staff. The staff treated me like scum because I didn’t want to purchase a “lady” for the night. The male worker then texted me on my personal phone and ordered a taxi to come take me to a “house” for pleasure. I refused again and immediately blocked him. I didn’t realize what kind of staff the hotel hired. The female staff are lovely; the male staff are horrible; offering “ladies”, mean faces, and generally just not being pleasant. After a few days, I was made to feel so unwelcomed that I went to check out to move to another hotel. They fought with me about a refund for the half of the trip that I didn’t take and made things incredibly stressful. I’m still here at the counter waiting for my refund to leave and they keep saying “what’s the problem? We can’t give you a refund until we know why you’re leaving…” the person who is asking me this is on
