Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo, an IHG Hotel

The dynamic duo Jose Manuel and Victor have outstanding service and hospitality! I highly recommend starting your day with breakfast the food is amazing. Crowne plaza hotel has been a very pleasant stay. I will definitely be booking again upon my return. Thank you!

The rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained. The service on arrival, at reception, in the restaurants etc. was excellent . The Staff members were very attentive to my needs particularly assisting me to navigate the Spanish language. Special mention to Josè who always made sure that I was comfortable in the restaurant. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza , Santo Domingo.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, especially by Francisco at the front door, who greeted me with a smile and provided exceptional, attentive service. Every time I passed, Francisco was there to make sure I had everything I needed.
The coffee shop was another delight! The lovely ladies behind the counter were always cheerful and welcoming, making my daily coffee stops an absolute pleasure. The restaurant, though, was the real star—don't miss out on the ceviche! The food was fresh, delicious, and accompanied by top-notch service. Every meal felt special, and the team there went above and beyond to make sure I had an unforgettable experience.
One standout touch was the refreshing fruit and water on arrival—a perfect start to my stay. On my last night, I was surprised with a special sweet treat in my room, a thoughtful gesture that made me feel so valued.
The location was also ok, with the ocean right across the road, providing stunning views that were perfect for unwinding. The Colonial Zone only a short walk away. If you want warm hospitality, and a memorable stay. I can’t recommend it enough!

The stay was really good. The staff were very welcoming and all delivered great service consistently.

Our server Jose was amazing. He memorized our dietary requirements and made sure those were met consistenly. Highly recommend.

My second time staying at the Crowne Plaza and Santo Domingo and get better every time. It was great seeing Jose Manuel and Victor again. Love seeing them at breakfast. Not only is he great at what he does, he is very friendly and welcoming.

Then at nights having an espresso with Ramon is great too. Awesome staff and clean accommodations. Can't wait to come back.

We had a great time at the hotel but the most outstanding part was the breakfast. We were always greeted with a warm smile by Jose Manuel. He was the most attentive and would serve me coffee every day with the exception of his day off for a whole week. He was amazing.

Beautiful hotel right in front of the ocean, you have an amazing Jacuzzi, pool, fitness center. Some nights they have entertainment in the lobby. Staff is absolutely amazing clean your room, change your sheets and bedding, every single day very impressed with the overall ambience of the entire hotel. Victor, Alexander, Jose Will always have everything that you need every morning at your service for breakfast. Definitely stop by check it out say hi and enjoy the time here.

I definitely loved my stay here. The staffs were so welcoming right from the reception to the pools side and to the restaurants. Jose Manuel served us everyday morning at breakfast with the biggest smile and always checking on our table. He was super friendly, answered all our questions and was very helpful. I really didn’t want to 4 days vacation to end.

The dinner restaurant was very nice and better than the ones we visited outside the hotel. We had the local dish they served and I loved it and it also wasn’t as pricey as the ones outside.

Had a very nice stay here. Pool area was lovely, breakfast was great. Jose Manuel and Victor helped us during breakfast and were absolutely great! They were amazing with our son and made sure he had everything he needed. Very attentive staff. And overall great experience.

The hotel is a great place to stay. I’ve stayed here three times and each time it’s been a great experience.

The restaurant is convenient and the food is good. The service is great. Victor, Jose, and Ambi provide the best service at the restaurant each morning and make the stay worth it. They treat you like long lost friends.

The rooms are great as well.
