The hostel provides basic accommodation which is clean and comfortable and a short bus / trolley bus ride from the city. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Kitchen came with basic equipment (2 cooking rings, fridge/ freezer ) pans cutlery and crockery. Compared to the prices in town this is an absolute bargain and well worth the short commute (remember to sort your tickets out before you go as...
Good location, near to Uni and good connections for public transport. But no washing machine, oven, even a drying rack available, also no room for the community. Spent one Erasmus semester here, still could recommend it.
Great place to stay if you're a student. Cheap prices for long stays. Each apartment has 2 rooms (with 2 beds each, although you can rent the whole room for yourself by paying double the price), a kitchen, table, toilet and shower. Beware that this is a student residence so there will be noise at night (parties).
A very clean, cosy and friendly place to stay. Our room for 2 was quite spacious, warm and comfortable. A wardrobe, TV and 2 tables with lamps. We shared a toilet, shower and a kitchen only with 2 other people from the B room. The kitchen has a microwave, a fridge and a stove, plus all necessary kitchen ware. Everything is new, clean and pleasant to use. The staff is really friendly and helpful. You...
a cozy place to stay, though the doors are too thin... if the neighbors are listening to the radio, you'll stay tuned all night
I stayed there for an Erasmus semester (exchange program) and it was the perfect place to meet other students. The kitchen is maybe a bit small for a long stay but we get used to. Some rooms don't have a microwave, some does, you have to be lucky. The cleaning is usually well done and the receptionists are nice.

We went backpacking to Europe and Tallinn was our first stopover. And Old House Hostel turned out to be the ideal beginning to month-long trip. simple yet very aesthetically designed. The room was nicely done up for 4 of us with all basic things. even the kitchen had everything that one requires. Outside was so quiet that people back home asked if there is a curfew when they saw the pictures. Despite...
Directly in the old town, so if you step out you are in the old Tallinn. And tourists are passing the windows all araound the clock, so we had to sleep with closed windows and no air condition. The rooms are very small and hot in the summer. Parked our motorcycles in the parking place behind the hotel, seems save, because there is no direct sight from the streets. breakfast to expensive, dont' book...
It's like traveling back in 80s 70s — this hostel is like time machine. Staffs are nice and the location of the hostel is in old town which is great.
This hostel was pretty nice except that it was a bit loosely managed with just a volunteer and a cleaning lady. But I have to say compared to other hostels I've stayed this one stood out. And it was 10 euro. You can't expect much from 10 euros.
The most pleasant and reliable staff! You can leave your passports and cash blow off their protection, everything does not have to carry around town. The beds are better than most hotels. The hostel is clean and nostalgic. In fact, when I arrive in Tallinn again, I use only their hostel. 10+ points
Nice place, very clean also. But the rooms are extremely cold, take some extra clothes to sleep. And if you have any breathing issues, I had several asthma attacks during the night, be prepared.
Hostel is located right near Viru Gates which are leading to Town Hall Square. The staff was polite and people were nice.

I love this place - stayed there on numerous occasions in an all-female dorm. A very nice common space downstairs with kitchen. Perfect location for boats, train, old town. And, last but. not least: when I forgot my charger, they kindly mailed it to me!!!
For the low price of 16€, it can't get better. Hostel looks like it has had a renovation recently. Quiet rooms and safe doors. The hostel has a sauna and pool. There is a shared kitchen. Also, there is a ping pong table. The beds are really comfortable. If you want to go on the boat in the morning then you could sleep there really good.
Nice hostel right at the gates of Tallins Old Town. Suits perfectly those who look to see the town at an afordable price. It has both rooms with own bath and rooms serviced by a common bathroom. Rooms are furbished with the basic furniture, minimalistic, but clean with comfortable beds. You do not need more if you are a real traveler. A common kitchen for those who want basic cooking, tea and coffe...
Great stay with great value for money. The location was super, near to the sights, near to the port and there was a nearby market as well. The place was clean and our check in process was quick and smooth. Quite place with great value for money.
This is a genuinely lovely place, it’s located in a great spot close to a supermarket and a train station. The staff has been very helpful. The morning sauna is a great way to start of the day. The room is nice as well.
Rooms are not isolated. When the neighbors are talking, you’ll hear every word. The second night of my visit, I woke up 4.45 am hearing the neighbors talking. I asked the night shift staff to handle and they take action immediately. I really appreciate that. The room itself was clean, simple but it had everything I needed. Kitchen is big with a lot of items to borrow if you want to cook. To my surprise...

Could be a little bit more aesthetic, but it was cheap. The instructions were also a bit unclear and we embarrassed ourselves few times. Location was excellent, surrounded by all the Finnish karaokes. Perkele.
Good sides: From the hostel, you can go to the old town square in only one minutes. The location is centeric. You can self check-in without contacting anyone. There is a kitchen and there are many different facilities for cooking in the kitchen. The toilets are clean. Bad sides: The walls were very thin, I was able to hear other people easily even though my door was closed. Check-in is done after...
À very excellently located perfect value for money hostel. Me & my friend stayed over the weekend and we had 2 separate room for each of us one with bathroom attached (3rd floor) and other with shared bathroom (5th floor) . I stayed here for two nights with my woman. Our stay was quite nice. Our room was on the top floor, seperated from the rest of the hostel and as such quite calm. There was a seperate bathroom, toilet, fridge and microwave to use. Room itself was simple and good. A second pillow would have been nice to sit upright against the hard wooden frame. I can't really judge the hostel itself as I barely was...
Really enjoyed my stay here. Had a private room both times. Exceptional value. Don't expect too much from the Self Catering kitchen, it is small and dated, but adequate. Friendly staff. Have fun finding it in the dark. The pitch black courtyard beyond the iron security gate, and the dark grey lobby are reminiscent of a former era! But when you arrive on the 3rd floor, the hostel itself is bright and...
Nice hostel in the old town. Rooms are clean, except the windowsills. Those really could be cleaned PLS! Room would use some hanger for towels to dry. Fan was a plus. Toilets were clean, showers too. Just both showers has such a SMALL sink. Please consider install bigger one at least in the one with washing machine. Kitchen was nice and organized.

The stairs were big suitcases unfriendly, but after all the doorman helped me:). Also very kind staff, clean toilet and bathroom. Very comfortable location in a city. Unfortunately I think I woke all my roommates due to metallic lockers. They are very loud. Pleasant stay:)
Good for 1 or 2 nights stay. The room was clean, but the mattress needed to be replaced. lockers and towels are free. Friendly staff. Great location.
Everything is how you would expect it to be. The bed will be prepared for you by an employee when you arrive, locker and towel are all inclusive. However I didn't like the atmosphere much at the hostel because there are many rather old people who stay there. But of course that is not the fault of the hostel. I didn't have any issues with management as others have complained about here in the reviews
Arrived in Tallinn without a place to stay and looked for the cheapest hostel I could find which was here but you wouldn't think it. The staff were very helpful, bathrooms and rooms were clean and there is more than ample utilities in the kitchen. There are lockers in each room that you can reset the codes yourself easily and the location is very central. Would recommend to anyone.
Sergej he is a really good host, humble, and friendly, with him you can have a nice chat, he is ready to help and support. Hostel clean, tidy. Bedsheets and bedcover clean, smelling fresh and super white, important to be in a place where the hygiene is priority. Thank you Sergej, wish you the best.
Very nice place in middle of Tallinns old town. friendly personal always with smile on face and ready to help out and answer any questions . Large kitchen with all tools you need to enjoy your stay. There is many restaurants, bars and clubs around.

Despite of the price and first assumption because of that, the rooms were clean, tidy and cosy. If you want low price as well as you don't look for overpriced services, this place is a must to go.
Good place for low cost trip. Little note, water is a bit too cold and rooms are not cleaned too frequently.
Wonderful place to stay! Located near the small forest, quiet, staff is very friendly. They have a common fridge and an elevator so you don't have to carry heavy bags upstairs. It's worth to take a breakfast option, you can pick whatever you like and food is really tasty. About 15min to the centre and there is a nice parking. We had a room for 5 days here, it was really cheap and good. Two bed room, with toilet and shower in the room for only 40 Euro. You have a WiFi which is not that good and tv works not really as well but it's clean, you have a parking space at front door and people are really friendly. A very nice and cheap hostel in the heart of Tallinn Old Town. It’s located at the very good location in Tallinn. This hostel provides very good international environment. Spacious rooms, Great price, lively location, walkable to any place, lovely people, Bar - Go for it! The receptionist was polite and friendly. The room nr 2 is huge with lots of space and cute beds, it was very quiet at night which made my stay even more perfect as i had to catch an early flight. Def will return ☺️
Nice and welcoming people. International vibe and helpful staff. Building is old but always clean. A guy in reception is super kind and helpful. If you would like to have an interesting conversation in the evening talk with a guy from Netherlands. He is super interesting person. Rooms are cold but manageable. Next time I will deff stop there. A great spot in the old town.
Travelling as a big group, the hostel was ideal. The location is right in the middle of town, a stonesthrow from the center and from the old town walls. Lovely hotel, clean and spacious, big bubble bath which was cool? Round the back side of the bath it looks a little unfinished, and a bit messy. Amazing hotel rooms really big there is a big bathroom with a shower and cute floral toilet paper and teddy bear toilet paper cute decorations i would recommend this place cheap and it has breakfast
According for what we paid it was definitely worth it. Breakfast was ok, nothing much but all the ideal. Location a bit far from the center but for those who like walking, it’s beautiful walk to the center.
Nice stay for what you pay for! Location is quite out of town but the walk to the centre is very enjoyable so you can get your steps in:) breakfast is just average nothing special but also enough to fill you up for the day. The only problem for me was that there was no shampoo and conditioner in the room neither the hairdryer but when I asked for it they kindly lend me one so that’s okay!
Nice hotel in very good place of Tallinn. Clean and comfy. 4 stars for that. But no breakfast at the moment - due renovation. Parking outside is free. But also you can order closed parking for additional 5 or 6 EUR.
Not very expensive: in non-busy seasons a bed in a 5-bed room is 10 euro per night, and a room with two beds is 40 euro or so. However in summer the price could double. It's clean, but there are some fleis, big mosquitoes, even a mouse once. People work here mainly speak russian, with very basic English skills. But it's OK. Laudary (washing+drying) 7euros. I used the landuary service once but they...

Cosy, friendly and clean hostel. Located closeby mainsquare in citycenter, but in a quiet street. Helpfull staff.
Friendly stuff, place is right in the city of Old Tallinn. Good pricing is the main benefit despite some defects in interior due the old building.
Very good place, where meet and talk with people because isn't big than is simple to share the common areas. Good staff, cheap, coffee and tea is for free! And in the morning hot pancakes!?

Comfortable hostel. It is quite small and has a rather limited breakfast but the location is great. The rooms are quite nice but they just have one bathroom stall and one shower stall on each floor, which is quite inconvenient given the number of people/rooms on the floor. The staircase leading to the hostel smells really weird and the staff isn't very well versed with the basic tourism information
It's just perfect. The receptionist is really nice and gives you a big amount of great recommendations (trust him!). The room and the toiletries are clean. The breakfast is fantastic enough, you have cereals and milk, coffee, and bread with cheese and ham or butter and ham and.. In addition cucumber and tomato.
Strange place, staff are friendly but you have an awkward feeling that you’re staying in someone’s house. Not the most sociable hostel and not many facilities. Also you’re not allowed on with your shoes which can be annoying when getting ready to go out. The room was small and basic but clean. It's perfect located, just a few steps from the old town and only a 10 minutes walk to Telliskivi quarter. The breakfast was good: Bread, butter, cheese, salami, slicing cucumber, tomato, two sorts of marmalade, cereals, milk. Great location. Right in the middle of the old town. Good value for money. Comfortable bed and the shower was ok. A locker is provided. Breakfast is included which is great. The real highlight is the staff who were very helpful and friendly.
Great hostel that is super central (right near Tompeaa). Good location with decent common areas to hang out after walking around Tallinn's Old City. Rooms are up on 3rd and 4th floor of an old building with narrow stairs. Breakfast is basic toast with homemade jams and also cereal.

The service and personnel are great and super helpful. Just ask and they do what they can to help out! The prices are great and the bedrooms are very clean. They get cleaned very regularly. Good small hostel on the edge of the old city in Tallin, located 2km from the bus station making it easy to get to and from. comfy beds in a modern room with personal lockers and locked room door (not as obvious as it should be) staff was very good and helpful. very good value for the money
My expectations weren't too high, but this hostel surpassed every one of them. The place was tidy, especially the room we stayed in, it felt more like a hotel room, plus the price was very reasonable. But what I loved the most was the staff, who were all very polite, welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Spoon from the staff for the amazing hospitality shown, even at very late hours! I'm very happy...
This is an okay place to stay one or maybe two nights. All necessary facilities are there (kitchen, common room, towel rental, small bar / fridge at the reception). But: I can't see any real commitment concerning the condition of the hostel. Love is missing!! Staff is funny and helpful. Room was a bit uncomfortable, noisy street in front the window. Do not recommend for a longer stay!
This hostel is like a luxury hotel in the town. It's very clean and close to the city center. Don't miss the pub crawls they organize.
They have very good prices and the place is very clean and quite (it's not a party hostel and I like that). Staff is very helpful and rooms are spacious. I'd totally recommend it to my friends.

An excellent hostel, especially for the social vibe, the big common area and the wonderful staff. And it's quiet at night while just a short walk to the party zone. My 4-bed dorm (Neli) had the most amazing ensuite master bath I've ever seen in a hostel. The kitchen even had an oven (rare in Tallinn) so I made some ribs (American comfort food).
Had a great stay here. The location made it super easy to walk everywhere throughout the city. Rooms were clean, staff were super helpful, facilities were great and I got a great sleep. The real highlight was Corentin tour. The group was lots of fun, we went swimming, walking under waterfalls and explore beautiful scenery. It’s a must!
Outstanding, friendly, hospitable place to stay. Excellent location right in the old town. The staff were professional, helpful, and fun. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I made many friends, had nice conversations, and genuinely felt like I was in a home away from home.
Reception guys were friendly and in a good mood, although I arrives after midnight. I was just missing one more bathroom on each floor. 1 bathroom for 3 or 4 rooms full of ppl, can be quite annoying :) of course, a good option is to wake up early before anyone else.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Really, it's the best hostel ever. Located in the heart of old town within walking distance from basically all the sights, restaurants and supermarkets, very nice staff and ambiance, clean kitchen with free breakfast every morning, spacious rooms with very comfortable big beds and clean bathrooms, free lockers, cosy couches in the common room. I also liked the no shoes policy. ...

Stayed here for Christmas (6 days), it was great! Had a Christmas dinner and made some amazing friends. The staff are a right laugh and lead the every night parties by setting an example on how to drink! The only negative I have is that the hostel does not have a stripper pole :/.
