The dorm and bathroom were both spotlessly clean. I didn't use the kitchen but it looked clean. Fantastic location, super close to the central square. No shortage of cafes and bars nearby (Hell-O bar, next door, was a friendly gay bar, playing camp 80s hits 🪩🕺🏻)
Communication was very poor. I left a travel blanket there. They didn't reply to an email or a WhatsApp message (their preferred modes). I was passing through Tallinn again and called in; a different receptionist found it immediately.
The staff are all friendly. They don't speak English. My Russian is basic so we used Google translate sometimes, which worked fine.

This place is also called Reval hostel and hostel4you. Clean rooms, well equipped kitchen. If you have any issues finding it just search STADI karaoke bar and it's the door just to the left of the karaoke bar entrance. There should be a sign on the door and a buzzer on the wall. Located right in the old town.

My fiancée and I stayed here for two nights. The rooms and bathrooms are pretty clean, and if you’re looking to explore around the old town like us, this is a great location. However there is a club or a bar beneath the room we were staying in which made it a little hard to fall asleep. The man at the reception was quite friendly, but the only time we ever saw some staff, was when we first arrived. Over all an alright experience 👍

I was staying in the same room with the cleaner of the hostel, she was very rude from the beginning and cursed me in russian (which I don't speak but I could understand)
She was also sick but stayed in the room. When I asked about changing the room they didn't allow me to. It's not a clean hostel if you care about that and also didn't feel safe - I don't recommend

The stairs were big suitcases unfriendly, but after all the doorman helped me:). Also very kind staff, clean toilet and bathroom. Very comfortable location in a city. Unfortunately I think I woke all my roommates due to metallic lockers. They are very loud. Pleasant stay:)

Good for 1 or 2 nights stay. The room was clean, but the mattress needed to be replaced. lockers and towels are free.

Everything is how you would expect it to be. The bed will be prepared for you by an employee when you arrive, locker and towel are all inclusive. However I didn't like the atmosphere much at the hostel because there are many rather old people who stay there. But of course that is not the fault of the hostel. I didn't have any issues with management as others have complained about here in the reviews.

Cheap hostel in the center of Tallinn. Pretty run down, but you get what you pay for. Receptionist is not very friendly and asked us to cancel our "Booking" reservation and pay at the counter upon arrival. Made guests who came before us wait for quite a while and we had to wait for about 30 minutes as well, for no apparent reason, while the receptionist disappeared.
Rooms are spacious, however not very clean oder modern. Open wires on light switches and wires for plugs all over the place did not inspire much confidence. Bunk beds were clean, however very loud, mattresses very saggy (I could feel the bottom of the bed) and uncomfortable. No AC (as mentioned on Booking) and very thin windows without any sort of sound dampening.
The location is great, however Tallinn nightlife takes part right under and around the hostel, so loud music and people will be heard until 6 in the morning, preventing possible sleep.

5 stars because at everything we needed for a night in Tallinn with friends: a cheap stay with bed, towels, clean toilets and showers. The location is perfect. Would maybe not stay with my family but with friends is great.
