This is such a beautiful historical building. We enjoyed exploring around the hotel 🏨 and reading about the history of the building and it's a gem!
The staff are very welcoming and friendly, especially Sergio & Maria at the reception.
Our twin room was beautiful on the upper floor by stairs, and it's well decorated!
All the amenities are working well and enjoyed our stay.
We would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone who likes building with character and special touches!

This hotel is fabulous. It has a castle feeling to it, the corridors are like a maze with exposed stonework and wood beams. The rooms are clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The bathroom was spotless with good shower pressure. Also, the location is very close to everything, especially the main square. Fully recommend staying here

at first time they asked me 20€ for a two-hour EARLY check-in. After a claim by email they gave me a ready room free of charge at 10:00
For the rest, everything is just in the average. The classic furnishings are pleasant. The toilets need updating. The staff is moderately rude and unsmiling. I suggest to take care more customers.

Chose the cheapest room, it was fine but a bit tight to move around the bed since there was like 30cm to pass next to but nothing tragic. Bathroom was really nice, place was clean, staff was kind and helpful and a big advantage is breakfast included. Would recommend 👍

The room was awful. The bed was old and cracked when you wanted to go to the bed. Toilet is missing a button. Over all i would be sleeping better in the forest then in this hotel. Fridge was leaking water. Switch is dirty. For breakfast was no space to eat and only what you can eat it was sandwiches. Not recommended

Saint Olav Hotel is amazing place to stay in!
It's almost in the middle of the old town and very accessible trough out the Vana Linn.
The place is it's one piece of history, everything from floor carpets to a ceiling construction is screaming history.
The accommodations is more then comfortable and cozy, very nice place.
The place in it self is a labyrinth of well built and cozy passages, that can lead you just like a labyrinth!

I can tolerate the poor breakfast, the unventilated room, and even the sound of people snoring in the next room. But I absolutely detest RUDE and RACIST behavior. Sergey, the night time receptionist, is the racist in question. I will not explain why. It is clear from the other reviews that this is a consistent pattern of behavior, and so I do not expect anything to change. Avoid.

This is a hotel that has alot of charm, it's old and beautiful and the stairs creak but that doesn't take away the great room and great sleep I had, breakfast was amazing, liitle hit dogs, potatoes and ham and cheese served with scrambled egg, who cooked lovely, buffet style salads and cereals, fruit and yoghurts, coffee and cranberry juice, in some reviews people put there was not enough choice, there was plenty. Staff very helpful I would come back again because my flight got delayed and it was raining and I as allowed to sit in the lounge and put my bag in the luggage room. Only gripe I have is it was the top floor which took 5 minutes to reach. Not good if you can't do stairs. By the way if you need alcohol there is a small connvience store just a few minutes walk turn right out of the hotel, as you reach the waterfall fountain take a left it's on the right.

Nice hotel it’s got a lot of oil paintings inside antiques and wooden beams everywhere. The rooms are cosy and clean. I enjoyed my time here, it was like a castle and I felt relaxed. The location is perfect in the very very short walking distance from the Town Hall Square and so easy to find. Only some problems with the room the telephone doesn’t work neither does the television or safe and the wardrobe was broken. The staff wasn’t very friendly, polite and helpful.

The interior looked a bit weird to me but that is a very personal opinion. Otherwise everything was fine. Breakfast was also nice. The room was spacious and with almost everything you need. FYI You do not get a brush/toothpaste in the toilet
