We walked about 15 minutes from the harbor to the hostel. Either check-in online or at reception (staffed 24/7). We had a double room with our own bathroom and toilet. Everything was clean and sufficient for the hostel category.
Breakfast is included (hot/cold drinks, bread, cheese, sausage, delicious porridge with sweet condensed milk, boiled eggs, baked beans, scrambled eggs, cabbage salad). The breakfast room has a certain charm that makes the hostel authentic. The staff was friendly and helpful. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the old town and about 10 minutes to the Rotermann district.

It's true that rooms are not very big, but are ok for 2 peoples, rooms furniture are old, but also this point Is not a big issue. Breakfast Is ok nice options available.

Comapred to other hotel or B&B price Is ok, location ok, rooms are fine...

No fridge in the room and no air conditioning.

This is a hotel, not a hostel. I think that it has some history as it felt like it was working since at least the 90s. With a student dorm building almost beside, and that there are some shared bathrooms for certain rooms, I felt like it might have been converted from student dorms too.

Anyways, the hotel was a really pleasant stay. Big, comfortable king sized bed; carpeted room; nice big windows; small desk and mirror; minimalist wardrobe/clothes rack.

Staff were all friendly and professional. From desk staff speaks English while the cleaners do not (Estonian or Russian instead). Breakfast was really good in my opinion. I really loved the pancakes (bliny). The buffet spread was more or less the same in the few days I were there, but that was to be expected since it’s not like a 5 star hotel. Important thing was that it was consistently delicious, enough variety of food items, and there was coffee.

Honestly, if anything, perhaps it was just a little far from the old town (20 min by foot), otherwise I really thought it was great. Port is very near in case you wanted to take a ferry to Helsinki or Stockholm.

Good price/quality ratio. Very friendly staff (at least if you speak Finnish, Estonian or Russian). Dog friendly, free parking. No breakfast for vegans.

Excellent price-value for a central budget stay. The Rooms and bathrooms were very clean! Warmly recommended for a cheap and safe sleeps in central Tallinn.
