The hotel is great! And the snacks they provided in late afternoon is amazing. We met Rana here and she reserved us very well, impressive!

Absolutely fantastic! Gorgeous decor! Fabulous rooftop restaurant! Incredible live music! Lovely free happy hour! Obsessed.

Dated décor with plenty of old school charm, this feels like staying in a museum. Very professional staff in old fashioned uniforms. I felt like a queen for a day. Only giving 4 stars though, because our room wasn't for 3 persons as advertised and we received no compensation for having to buy an extra room.

It was one of best stay ever in antique hotel which has amazing views, history and stories.
Ms. Sohayla Elsafty made our stay awesome, very kind and supportive person. She did her best to sort out all our complains she is really professional.
Hotel has a top roof restaurant, breakfast was not good they need to add more options, overall stay was great.

Great service. Great staff. The view is mesmerizing. The bartender makes excellent cocktails. The food was delicious although the portions could have been a little larger. Overall this place is recommended, but be aware that it is too expensive to be your everyday restaurant. But this is PERFECT for a special day.

I can understand the reviews from other guests a bit better. We also had problems with our air conditioner. In the end we got a new room, it was smaller, but the air conditioner worked.

+ beautiful building and rooms
+ rooftop view and groundfloor is beautiful
+ cool and fast elevator
+ staff is overall nice and most of them are helpful

- we had to ask 3 times for the air conditioner: first, they said they will fix it, but they did not come back. Then we called, they said somebody will come, no one came. Then we went down again, to ask for help. Then they came to our room, saw the problem and told us, they will fix it. They didn't come back. In the end, we got a new room on the same floor. The new room was smaller, but nice too.
- Some things should be fixed: the doorhandle almost broke off or the carpet on the stairs to walk on is a bit dangerous, especiallf for people with walking problems.

about the breakfast: we ate food after 10am, by this time the food started to look dry because of the sun (it's on the rooftop). Some of it tasted good. Also, the waiters sometimes forget to bring you water, since there isn't a water station.
But in the end you are full.

Lovely historic hotel with an authentic lobby, rooms and artifacts. Staff are genuinely friendly and location can't get better with minutes access to everything (double Decker bus stop is across the street).
It's a 100 year old building so expecting some nuances is only logical.
Would come back again for sure.

Helpful team and we got welcome drinks with french desserts.
The rooftop was amazing, and not expensive at all!
The location is perfect to access downtown.
