Plaza Hotel Alexandria

Nice looking hotel with amazing views of the city and Cornish. However, staff stated two men or two women are not allowed to share a bed; they basically refused our request for a single king bed. Also, guests are not allowed to order food to be delivered, you are forced to order from the hotel’s kitchen.

Don't book events at this place.

On the morning of my friend event, the reservation manager 'Ahmed El deeb' tried to double the price, knowing we had no other options. He was extremely rude, made multiple calls, and gave ridiculous excuses for the price increase.

The table setup was not as we asked for. The place has a major problem with their lights and sound system - you have to have loud, distorted music playing just to keep the lights on, as they're connected to the same system.

The only service we requested from them was drinks, and even that was poorly handled - many guests couldn't get their requested beverages. We're thankful we didn't trust them with the food service too.

Speaking of food, even though we arranged our own catering, they mismanaged that as well. Against our agreement, they left everything in boxes and only began setting up after guests had arrived.

While this place has a nice location, the staff's poor service completely ruined our event. I strongly advise against booking any events in this place.

I recently stayed at the Plaza Hotel with my family and we booked 2 suites, expecting a pleasant and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, our stay was far from satisfactory.

The internet was completely unreliable, making it impossible to stay connected or get any work done. This was incredibly frustrating and not what I expected from a hotel of this reputation.

The service was also subpar. Staff were unhelpful and unresponsive to my concerns, making me feel like my issues were not a priority.

To top it all off, I was unable to order any food. The options were extremely limited, and the process was unclear and poorly managed.

Overall, what was supposed to be a memorable family trip turned into a frustrating experience. I cannot recommend the Plaza Hotel based on this stay, especially if you’re traveling with family and expecting quality service.

I have stayed for 3 nights and for a 4 Star Hotel the room service is horrible!
They don't change the towels, don't give toilet papper and one of the nights we order two pizzas for room service and took more then 1 hour to serve them.
This should be a two star hotel!
