Facilities
—>one of the lifts (right hand side) doesn’t work properly so stops one floor above the required level. It’s like being in a comedy film. Also If you call a lift and it is that one, it will stop at the floor above yours and then you are stuck waiting until it moves on and you can call another lift.
—>The hotel advertises a long list of restaurants but we found most to be closed.
Service
—>our room was open on checkin so we assume it has just been made ready for us. The complimentary water bottle was open from the last guests and we were missing hand towels. I spoke to housekeeping but they never came to the room to fix either issue. I couldn’t be bothered to make a bigger fuss as we were staying one night. Upon checkout we were accused of stealing the towels! I urge all guests to check their rooms thoroughly when checking in to make sure it has everything.
—>Two other guests in our party had drinks added to their bills that they didn’t have. Again check your bill when leaving.
Food
—>we ate dinner in the restaurant as there aren’t many options nearby. Chicken was overcooked and tough.
—>Breakfast was the hotel’s only redeeming feature as it was excellent.
