ABaC Hotel in Barcelona

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice in 13 years. I have to start by Saying the rooms look the same, which is not a good thing they need updating. The hotel is now showing signs of wear especially in the rooms. The housekeeping, is wonderful!!!! They do an amazing job, keeping it sparkling and they really customize my stay with my requests! . They have a blow dryer from the 1950s that you actually have to hold down to use which is shocking for a five star hotel. now onto the good things the staff is wonderful. They are so kind. I only had one issue with one girl. I don’t know her name she was Young worked in the morning for breakfast. She needs much more training for this five star Industry. She gives me a cappuccino with no sugar or a spoon you don’t put salt and pepper on the table I have to ask . 20 minutes just for water. I dined in the restaurant most things are very good a few so so . He’s a wonderful chef. But I think it’s time to get some new ideas. The spa is nice loved the pool! Great for laps in the am ! The steam room was a little weak definitely not as hot as most. But the front desk staff is really fabulous. The ladies are amazing. I think in order for me to come back there will have to update the rooms. The air conditioning panel fell off a few times during my stay! lol ! The hotel is small enough where it should be easy to maintain.

Will return to thos hotel again 😍

The address is relatively quiet, the number of rooms is relatively small, like a club-type hotel, close to the foot of the mountain, the overall hotel setting is OK, the curtains are relatively old, some do not block light, the overall layout of the room is large, the breakfast is good

A great and unique experience. The 18 course tasting menu took about 2.5 hours.
The set is quite varied, the taste of the dishes are not similar to each other. Although at the beginning, there was too much black caviar, but then it became more varied.
The food is very interesting, introducing many ingredients and various techniques. Particularly creative presentation, but the taste of some dishes seemed too ordinary, less than expected (especially desserts). And others, on the contrary, are super concentrated.
It wasn't the best meal I ever had, but I had a great time here.

There is no place to relax in this hotel except the rooms. Because the dining hall on the first floor seems to be outsourced. Because we wanted to go in and sit down, the waiter happened to be chasing away the hotel staff sitting in the lobby. 

We were here in april 2024 and was really worth it. The food was on point, the services as well very good and the ambience was really cozy. The presentation was very beautiful, the decoration of the restaurant very relaxing and in a quite area.
We had the whole menu along with the wine pairing. Also, they helped me organize the moment when I proposed my girlfriend and for me, was perfect. I will never forget this restaurant. Hands down.
