After paying online for a package trip, we arrived at the hotel to check in. They confirmed our stay had been payed, But they wouldn't give us our keys to the room until we had payed them a Tax! £39 (euros)
It was late, we were tired so after a short stand off, I agreed to pay this so called TAX that we have never had to pay anywhere before. BEWARE.
Once we got to our room we noticed straight away how small it was and it had a window instead of the balcony we had booked. Spoke to reception they said we've not booked a balcony room, despite us showing our booking confirmation showing Balcony. They told is it was our operators problem. They said balcony's are for Disabled people 🤯. They said we could have one but we would need to pay an extra £15. Per night for a balcony.
The windows don't seal like UK windows so you could hear all the traffic all night, all the drunk people singing and shouting all night. The toilet blocked up and there were no means if sorting it out, so we had to get the lift down to the basement to use the toilets down there. Due to the design and layout you couldn't sit on the toilet properly anyway lol. Also, the so called AC in the room was useless. So needed to keep opening the window anyway. My wife is Gluten free and this is a Celiac accredited hotel. Unfortunately this meant my wifes dinner ended up just being a heat n eat served in its packageing for you to scold yourself trying to peel the lid off. The GF bread also came steamed in a bag. Needless to say, we will never return to this hotel. Do yourself a favour and book another hotel.

Good afternoon. 1. The hotel is old. The rooms are not tidy. The air conditioner does not work well and makes a lot of noise, which makes it difficult to sleep. We tried to sleep with the window open; we were disturbed by the noise of cars. We booked a room in advance on the hotel website. In four days, I contacted the site, sent an SMS, wrote on Instagram to cancel the reservation for one day. no one answered. After checking into the hotel, they refused to cancel our reservation for one night. They did not issue a cash receipt after payment. I asked, but they still didn’t give me the paper, they wrote out the paper by hand.

Not deserving of a 4-star rating. Probably only because they have a gym (which consists of only 3 machines). Like what the other reviews say, the front desk person was a bit cold which made him seem unapproachable — and based on other reviews, I see there’s a pattern; he might just not be friendly to Asians. However, he did help us when we asked for adaptors.

The rooms felt so dirty - they do not provide hotel slippers so we were forced to be barefoot in the room and the floor was so grimy and sticky. The bathroom seriously NEEDS DEEP CLEANING. There was an earring on the counter that stayed there for days which was not ours (probably from previous guest). Overall super uneasy feeling of being in an obviously dirty room. Water bottle was only filled once (we never got another refilled bottle for the rest of our stay).

The walls are paper thin. We could hear the other guests coming in and out and talking outside our room. We could also hear whatever was going on in the streets outside.

Location was generally OK, but there are many other hotels (more worth it) closer to the center.

Not worth the price. Will not recommend to others. Will not stay there again.
