Hesperia Barcelona Presidente

This hotel was recommended to us and our visit was great! The hotel is very clean, the rooms spacious and light and the staff speak good English. Our breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The area itself (on Diagonalle) is upmarket and very safe with lots of restaurants, cafes and smart shops. Lots of people strolling around even late evening, Taxis are very easy to come by. Esmeralda and a really young man at the front desk were really helpful but all the staff could not have been more efficient, friendly and welcoming. Great stay - highly recommended.

It was a nice experience. Everything was good. The staff and the service quality is good.
The only down fall in the lack if real 3-bed rooms. All rooms are designed for two people and 3 bed rooms are with an extra bed (sofa bed)
But other than that, it was a perfect experience.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hesperia Presidente in Barcelona for two consecutive weeks for work, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, always ready to assist. The rooms are decent but feel slightly outdated, which could use some refreshing. The breakfast was nice, though nothing special, just the basics. Despite these minor drawbacks, I appreciated the comfortable environment and would recommend it for business trips.

Absolutely amazing service and cleanliness! Luis at breakfast was spectacular, and had a real fondness for kids- which we really loved as we had our 2-year old daughter with us. The location was great as well, as you were in the hub of the city but could also easily access the main attraction points by cab / taxi, or public transport (bus / train). I also had some work I needed to do during my stay, and the working area was great for this. Would definitely recommend this hotel for both vacation and work purposes!

The hotel is in a great location for getting round the city, and one of the hop on/off buses had a stop just a across the road which was helpful.
We had a large twin room, with a large bathroom and excellent shower, which came with complimentary toiletries.
There was also a fridge with replenished bottled water each day, and the room was very clean.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bedding was clean and fresh.
Housekeeping made beds daily and brought fresh towels and robes.
The reception team were so friendly and helpful, and we were also able to access our room a little earlier which was great after a long day of travelling!
It was my son’s birthday while we were there and Esmeralda on reception arranged for a surprise cake in our room for him, when we returned from our day out, which was so incredibly thoughtful, and tasted delicious! Thank you!
I have already recommended this hotel to a friend and I would definitely return.
I thought it was great value for money aswell.

The hotel was comfortable and the location was pretty decent. Loved the breakfast too. The guy at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a view, but the view was nothing special. Overall we had a pleasant experience in this hotel and we would definitely book it again.

It's a good hotel for business travellers, it's near to the business district. The hotel is about 20 minutes walking distance to Placa Catalunya. It was a rather long walk. If you're taking the City Tour, there's a stop right in front of the hotel for the Orange line. The room is bigger than usual Barcelona's hotel. There are shopping areas and dining options close-by.

Great location for a trip to Barcelona. Quite a walk to some key places but out of the way of the busiest parts of Barcelona. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, staff are very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
