Spent 4 nights here. The hotel is well located, nicely decorated, lovely staff. My issue was noise, however. The rooms are not well insulated you can hear people walking next door and the constant slamming of doors. Sadly if your room faces the street you will hear a lot of noise until the late hours. So bring your ear plugs. We upgraded rooms to face the court yard which was better..however you can still hear the elevator in the morning and again neighbours and doors.

Breakfast is great, staff work very hard here and do a great job. Would I stay again, for its location yes but I'd rather have a good night's sleep.

The hotel was generally good to stay: Great location with restaurants, shops and markets nearby and friendly staffs.

The major issue we had during our 7-nights stay was the noise.

First, it was not a pleasant surprise to find out that there was an ongoing renovation of a hotel room at the same floor, right near to our room. Nobody mentioned about this when we checked in, and when we asked about it from the front, the response we got was something like "what's the problem, just deal with it". Of course it is understandable to have some renovation time to time in hotel business, but it could have been noted to us in advance and they could have provided some alternative measures/services for the guests statying at the same floor as a 4-star hotel, since it is not very nice to wake up to very loud construction noise early in the morning when you are on vacation, and whenever you're trying to get a rest during the day at your room, you have to just "deal with" the construction noise.

Second, the hotel itself has some noise issues, too. You can very clearly hear the noise from the corridor and especially every single noise when the neighbor rooms' doors are closed and opened. The rooms have rather thin walls so you can hear the voices from other rooms quite clearly as well. I see that many other reviewers have mentioned the same issue in their reviews earlier, but apparently no improvements have yet made. Hopefully the hotel takes the issue into account.
