Hotel SB Diagonal Zero 4 Sup

Avoid if travelling for business. Wifi works intermittently around 7 m/s so it is basically impossible to work.
Rooms are dated and not very well maintained (stains in the walls, furniture with damage), beds are hard and uncomfortable and the room we were in had a weird smell.
Staff is rude and will do whatever in their power to avoid helping you.
The police is in every other day due to conflictive guests and there’s excessive noise from the streets and other rooms.

Not a 4 stars at all! I would rate it 2 stars with a pool and spa but a hotel that has only won the starts because of bigger facilities.
Terrible Customer Service….. overcrowded breakfast, there weren’t even glasses available.
Room was dirty inside ( I’m attaching pictures just for reference). Also the toilet has a window showing everything to the room ( no toilet privacy) there was a curtain for this window but when we tried to close it the whole curtain and rails fall down 🤯.
The hotel was overcrowded in general, pool is very small and no space for all the people around.
Good thing is that we ask for reimbursement to change hotel and they did it so at least we were able to leave without further issues.

a girl from the reception was a sweetheart.Not only did she help us check in, but she made our stay way more comfortable. for instance she allowed us to change rooms that were better suited for our group. when leaving our belongs in the reception before check out she guarded our bags. This was much appreciated. many of other staff members were great.

Most of my problems with this property was prior to our arrival. They were really difficult to reach and I tried third party

Even with the then third party helping us we still we faced difficulties in getting contact with he property. this was regarding some changes regarding our stay.

Another thing that happened was that 3-5 days before travel I receive a phone call from Spain by someone claiming to represent this property and they asked for my payment information and that I wouldn’t get my rooms if I didn’t provide details. I got worried and reported the strange phone call to booking organiser. They helped me and reached out to the property. We discovered that the strange call wasn’t from this property. regardless this caused tremendous amount of unnecessary stress.

We asked for separate beds but got double beds which was troublesome but it was amended.
breakfast buffet had many sweets but not enough breed and cheese in my opinion.

lastly, It was located a bit to from central.
the spa was only opened on weekends which could have been mentioned in advance because we had limited time there.

Avoid if there were other choices.
Stayed 5 nights. Feel like a 2-3 star hotel. Water not replenished, A/C either too hot / cold. Housekeeping line went dead at night. Some colleagues stayed in Hilton nearby at a similar price, much better amenities and service.
