Hotel Flats Friends Mar Blau

Stayed here for a 3 night break all inclusive. The location was perfect, the staff were lovely and the food and drink included were great. Also a huge positive was that the whole hotel was extremely clean. The only downside was the room. We had been given a room to the back of the hotel next to the maids supply area. The room was small and dated, with little storage, not entirely sure why but we had a large desk in the room which took up a lot of space and was useless. The bars on the window made it feel like a tiny prison cell and the bath was half the size of a normal bath and the shower head was a handheld one so bathing/showering was interesting. Bin men came to empty bins by our window just after midnight on our first night (friday) and the maids woke us up around half 7 each morning filling buckets and banging around in the supply cupboard next to our room. I would definitely say that if you plan to stay here then pay extra for a sea view room if they have one available, those rooms seem much nicer and are more spacious.
The hotel although lacking a pool, is directly opposite the beach. This part of the beach front was fab, the sea was clear and full of fishes and it was quieter and more relaxing than the beach further along the front. It was great to relax. It was also more geared towards the Spanish visitors around this hotel so I think this explains why it was much quieter as the noisy British stag and hen parties were further towards new town which was around a 40 minute walk away.
Location wise you couldn't ask for a better base for your holiday.
