Overall what a beautiful warm welcoming hotel. Staff are amazing so entertaining and ready to make your holiday what it should be. They work so hard it doesn’t go unnoticed. We had a wonderful holiday here. The all inclusive stops at 23:00 followed by a paying bar to 00:00. If you need to use the lift, hope you have plenty of patience as you’ll need it. There are 14 floors and 3 lifts. We were in the first floor and I was in a wheelchair so had no option, but had no option but to use the lift. My new second home :) had the best 5 days on holiday here. Was on a solo holiday and had the time of my life. Rooms are spotless, the food is a hit and a miss, had some nice lunch but I’m a fussy eater, so wasn’t a fan any other time. The drinks were so strong & was never thirsty lol. Hotel a little dated but was clean, and the rooms were cleaned every day. No welcome pack only a few cans of fizzy drink in the fridge & a bottle of prosecco which was fine. Had a great time the hotel was lovely and clean. Had a huge choice of good food . The room was nice and clean. Our beds were made every day had fresh towels. Only draw back was the huge queues at the bar only had one member of staff serving. Apart from that the staff were very welcoming . Will definitely book again for next year

Being English customer service is everything to me. Unfortunately this hotel has too many bad employees working here for it to be enjoyable for someone so focused on customer service. However, the food and rooms were good so if customer service isn't a focus then you will enjoy it here

Great location near enough to reataurants and bars but far enough not to be noisy, rooms a little small but adequate and very clean, thumbs up to housekeeping. Just stayed for 4 weeks and was very happy with hotel. Staff work really hard to keep all areas clean and tidy. Updated bedroom was lovely, especially the walk-in shower. Just stayed a week bed an breakfast on a golfing holiday. Nice hotel mainly based at older Spanish guests. Youngsters may find it one to avoid, having said that it is handily placed for the strip and dozens of good restaurants.

Spent a week Half Board here in Feb/Mar this year. Fantastic room on the 14th floor. Nice variation of food on offer. Amazing views and down the quieter end of Benidorm which we absolutely loved. Will definately return to this hotel.

just came back from this hotel..it is ok if you are over 65 or may be 70 years old speak fluent spanish..all entertainment was for the spanish people to get up and dance. nothing at all for the british people. at all. also 27 steps to go down to the pool..as my wife had problems walking...not good. .they spanish were taking all seats in entertainment area and not having a drink between them...i...

Rooms were not cold enough, even at the lowest setting. Everything else was amazing. They have an amazing buffet, daily and nightly activities. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now. Once last year and recently this year. They have two pools and both good sizes and enough sun beds and umbrellas near the pool area and also showers. They have people check the pools as well and the chlorine is spot on in my opinion. In the smaller pool area there is also more shade with some trees. Unfortunately we had not booked a balcony room this time. The rooms are ok but we felt a bit enclosed. The food was really good. The bar was also very good. Nice staff. The location is brilliant for the beach and old town. Also not too far from the party strip.

We had a brilliant time there. The maid for the room was amazing. We never so her but the room was spotless every day. The restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful as were the reception staff helping me with my printing of the forms. Great value for the money with free transfers to and from the airport Will be top of our list of hotels to stay again. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a very pleasant 10 day stay in the Calypso Hotel, this was our 2nd visit. All the staff are very pleasant & can’t do enough for their guests, I would like to say a special thank you to Rosa! Who looked after us endlessly during our stay. We would stay again but would prefer the main building as we found the annexe very noisy and the shower wasn't very powerful. All the staff were friendly and the hotel is spotless, we felt very safe. The breakfast wasn't to my taste but that is just my personal choice as my husband enjoyed it. Evening meal was good. Overall we had a lovely stay.

If there was better deals in the terrace bar. We spent more time drinking in the flash due to this. Overall had a brilliant relaxing holiday spent a lot of it by the pool. The Blackpool of Spain... lots of old people, plenty of cheesiness, but it is a happy clean and friendly place. Its definitely not a high end place with rips on the sofa and rusty bars on the windows, but the room is clean and comfy and it is just 2 minutes from the beach

Great hotel for the money. Extremly clean and good food and drinks always available. Fantastic, helpful staff let us keep around until we needed to leave at 6pm. Down side, there's no proper pool for a swim but there is a pool so sit in to cool down which was more than adiquate. Thanks for a great holiday!

If you are planning to visit the night clubs on a regular basis then the location is ideal however it's not a quiet location if you want a decent night's sleep. I was Full Board for a week and the food was always varied and fresh. Fish, meat, pastas, salad, potatoes, chips and a whole range of other great foods always warm and well prepared. The chef would also do live cooking at all meals. The fruits were amazing, and there were 2 flavours of ice cream + a mixed flavour which was made to perfection. The hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a brilliant stay with you and this one was for our honeymoon - the only downside to this whole experience was the stag and hens (particularly the stags) they were rowdy and very intimidating around the pool. We feel that although the hotel would do everything to ensure a peaceful stay. it would be much more enjoyable if the number of groups were limited.

Considering how little i booked this hotel for, i was more than pleasantly surprised when i got to my room. It was very nice with an equally nice clean bathroom. To top it all, it included Breakfast.... I would have "No problem" recommending this hotel to others, I would certainly stay here again. 👍🏼👍🏼

This place is just great value. Great location. Very clean tidy rooms well appointed. The biggest pool and grounds ever. Best aircon ever. Food good don't expect pie and chips though because guess what your in Spain eat good Spanish food. Very helpful staff. Excellent stay.

It was the perfect location for our hen party - a short walk from the square. The breakfast was not good at all but given the good value of the hotel this didn't bother us. We were in Benidorm for the party!

Just returned from a week here and Would have given a better rating if we had had more than 2 of our 7 nights of full sleep. The hotel itself is great and the food was lovely..all staff were friendly and helpful but unfortunately as it's an all inclusive hotel and they allow hen and stag groups you need to go prepared for noisy nights by disrespectful youngsters who think it's ok to bang on each others...

For what we paid it could have been a tent.food was very good with plenty of choice. Beer on tap till midnight. The staff were very polite and welcoming if there was a downside then it would be that the walls were very thin and we could here the next room clearly

Decent hotel, but in need of a refurb. Good food, plenty of choice at every meal. Efficient staff and no queues anywhere. All inclusive drinks are good, and the wine in the restaurant is very drinkable. Whilst I wouldn't recommend it to a more discerning holiday maker due to a lack of any luxury, I would definitely return based on great value for money.

I had a good week, the food was delicious, the service was pleasant. The only thing I didn't like was that they told us we could visit the facilities of the Hotel Gran Bali since we were in the same group. But when we got there, the security guard told us he didn't know if someone from another hotel in the chain could come in, so he asked at reception. I loved the hotel. Didn't eat here but wanted to get out and about so it was just really to sleep and chill by the pool. The hotel is a little dated but was very clean and the reception staff were fantastic. It is on a hill but it's only £8 to get back from town. The pool is lovely and not over crowded with sunbeds which was good. I would stay here again if I could have a balcony as we did book one...

I have been eating at the buffet a couple of times, it has been very good, but I like to highlight details that others do not highlight, such as how tasty the fresh fruit was (everyone only sees the sweets), or the peas that, unlike from other places, they really tasted like peas. Furthermore, they really want to provide good service. I hope to return this summer.

Nice hotel, nice staff but after our group of 12 got back from a show were told bar was closing. Not just fir drinks but had to leave bar area and sit in reception area finishing our 1 drink each. As we are all in mid to late 70's we're surprised to be asked to keep our voices quiet ?

Lovely hotel in a great location, walking distance to everything. Rooms nice and clean we had a jacuzzi bath in ours which was a Brucie bonus. Break had a large selection to cater to all tastes and was topped up and was being cleaned all the time. Would recommend and we are looking to book for next year

Far enough away from the night life to be peaceful and yet close enough to be able to walk into the hub of everything. The highlight of the hotel is its cleanliness. The breakfast is superb for a buffet. Couldn't really fault this place.

Proper big hotel with clean, spacious rooms, great aircon and a hot shower. The breakfast area is massive and has an incredible choice of items to eat on offer. The rooms could do with a tea/ coffee making facility and perhaps a few toiletries and the swimming pool is quite shallow even at it deepest ( but I understand it is catering to families). After finding myself in an awful situation where I lost my phone, wallet and address to my villa, the staff here kindly let me use their phone multiple times to ring home, sort out money and a booking for the night. In the morning, they also went to an extra effort to made sure I had a taxi to my booked villa, communicated the situation to the taxi driver and even checked up I got there afterwards...

Place was ok but lacking, it was clean and cheap but could of had a fridge in the room and the Aircon was just heating so not very useful in the heat. Excellent rooms. Full and halfbord great, hotel tidy and clean 24/7. Large swimming pool quite warm, nice bar to. Does sandwiches as well

Just arrived but impressed already. My room is just right for me and a great view of the beach and the whole of Benidorm. The bathroom is superb and a large shower. Pool area is a nice size. In the quiet side of town and a long walk to the other side of town. The restaurant is large and I enjoyed the food that was on offer.

Hotel was lovely and the staff are a credit to Servigroup. Nothing was too much trouble. Lisa in guest services very helpful and knowledgeable. Carmen in the restaurant always pleasant and welcoming. There was always a good selection of food in the restaurant. The only gripe was the sunbed issue with people reserving sunbeds then disappearing for hours despite there being a 15 minute limit. However...

Fabulous hotel with lovely staff. Food excellent and rooms were clean and comfortable. We have stayed previously and will return to this hotel again, booking direct with hotel again. The hotel is on a slight hill, but still in a great location for the beach, shops and nightlife.

Small hotel but punching above its weight. Run well by an organised team starting with the friendly receptionists, to the bar staff, the restaurant staff and the cleaners who made the beds, changed the towels and straightened the rooms every day. Rooms were clean and functional with free use of safes in the rooms. Powerful shower. Plenty of storage/wardrobe/drawers etc. Plenty of sun loungers around...

We spent 4 nights and the location was spot on. Room and hotel were nice and clean with the staff being so helpful and polite. Food was good, better than I expected. We spent most the holiday out at the beach but the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Loved it. Only thing I would suggest is to add alternative milks to the buffet for breakfast so those with dairy issues can enjoy a coffee or cereal...

I absolutely loved my stay, the room was lovely and clean, great view of the pool. Pefect location. Breakfast was lovely and a great choice. Staff were friendly. For me it should be 4 star.

Fabulous hotel just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms quite small but lovely and clean with a balcony and the shower was fab. Breakfast was lovely and I just have to say the fried bread was amazing 😋 We will return. Ste and Karen from Glossop.
