Everything was perfect, good service at reception, excellent room, they upgraded it and my requests were attended to, phew, I am totally satisfied, very good and if I return to Bilbao we will repeat.

My stay in Decembre 2024 was just as wonderful as it was awful. The lobby the rooms and the whole interieur is very beautiful and clean. I slept very well in the comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. The service and the breakfast were outstanding. The hotel is very well located next to the river and in walking distance of the Guggenheim Museum.
The down Side: in the night it sounded like the furniture was rearragend in every single room. The noise was unbarable. At 8:40 in the morning they started hammering and drilling. I could not relax at all. There is construction going on in the lower floors but it sounds like they work right next to you.
One more thing: the water in the shower is not consistent in temperature. In one second you burn your skin in the next second you freeze to death.
So after all I'm Sure the stay in this Hotel is a pleasant and relaxing one when the construction is done.

This old hotel is part of a lovely chain of Barceló hotels. It looks nothing like the photos on the website. It’s in a dirty part of town, the “Superior” rooms are cramped and dirty with a tiny shower and a view of some rundown flats from a tiny window. The front desk clerks are rude and unhelpful. I had to ask the woman if she would like to stay in a room with a sink and no space to put her things. She finally gave us another dirty room with no place to plug in the phone. If I wasn’t with a
group, I would leave.

A very good hotel, with great welcoming hospitality. I have been attending to Nervion hotel for more than 10 years and I highly recommend it for any visitor to Bilbao city.

This hotel is a gem. It’s very quiet despite its large size, the rooms are designed to meet many needs, its location is excellent, and the front desk employee, Sandra, was amazing. She was so helpful in answering all of our many questions and her English was a delight, given how few people we’ve met who speak English. The breakfast that is available is very good and I can’t think of any food that they don’t have. It’s an extra fee but well worth it. Keep up the great service!

Stayed 2 nights for business. So many tourists and crowded especially at breakfast, could not find seat due to package tourists. No bath tub and room was not big enough to relax. Better improve traffic control at breakfast. Close to river to walk around, location is good.

We had an awesome stay here after finishing our Camino pilgrimage. Sandra at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. She went above and beyond what we expected. She gave us detailed instructions on how to navigate the city, recommendations to restaurants and more! What a valuable person to have at your wonderful hotel. Please, please let her know how much we appreciated her help, her energy and especially her smile. So very grateful to end our stay here before flying home to California!

Great location. Rooms are a little basic & bland. Not much personality but gets the job done. Fine for a weekend stay in the city, within walking distance of everything. In my opinion, small details were missed - dirty cups weren’t cleaned when the room was done daily. Milk thrown onto the desk, as an after thought. Beds are comfortable. Had some very noisy neighbours on our last night (party in an adjacent room)which I guess isn’t the hotels faulty but definitely frustrating & also when people are opening room doors, it’s very loud when you’re trying to sleep.
Used the express check out, due to quite a few people waiting at reception. Still haven’t had a final invoice sent to me, even though it’s been requested multiple times. No way of telling what the extra charges were & confirming if all is correct.
