We just left from our stay at the La Residencia and it was nothing short of perfection. My husband and I just spent the beginning of our honeymoon with them and not only is this property absolutely stunning, the service and attention to detail is unmatched. From start to finish their staff is unbelievably kind, professional, and genuine and truly made our honeymoon better than we could have imagined. Not to mention the food across all the restaurants is fantastic. El Olivo was amazing and such a unique experience but our favorite meal was at Miro. I couldn’t recommend this place more!! Worth every penny!

Simply magnificent.
Visited to enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace.
This hotel is magical - breathtaking views of the mountains, impeccable service, wonderful gardens, it simply oozes class and elegance.
It’s as if you enter a different world.
We did stay for 2 nights a few year ago to celebrate my birthday and have visited several times for afternoon tea- it’s one of best hotels we have been to.

I stayed at La Residencia during spring break and have truly never experienced a hotel like this — pure magic from start to finish. It’s not just the breathtaking location in the Tramuntana mountains, but the exceptional level of service that makes this hotel one-of-a-kind. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality and communication were flawless. Every single detail — from the food presentation to the thoughtful in-room touches — was impeccable. I want to personally thank David and Francisco, whose warmth, kindness, and professionalism made each day feel extra special. And a heartfelt thank you to General Manager Thomas, whose attentive leadership is felt throughout the entire property. The staff truly anticipates your every need. The spa was a serene sanctuary. I loved the sauna, and the overall ambiance was incredibly relaxing. The gym was well-equipped with everything needed for a proper workout — no shortcuts here. Food-wise, the breakfast was divine, and every bite I had throughout my stay was fresh and high quality. I didn’t get to try El Olivo this time, but it’s absolutely on my list for next time — and yes, there will be a next time. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, nestled between mountains and near the quaint town of Deià. Whether you’re strolling through the gardens, lounging by the pool, or sipping wine while overlooking the olive groves, you’ll feel like you’re living in a dream. La Residencia is, without a doubt, the BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at — a true gem where luxury, warmth, and soul all coexist. Can’t wait to return!

Belmond La Residencia in Mallorca is nestled in the charming village of Deià, a refined and elegant retreat. If you are seeking peace, nature, and an authentic Mediterranean escape, this is truly the place. As a classic Belmond property, it offers a stay where elegance and a strong sense of locality are ever present. The staff are attentive and warm. The pool’s setting is particularly beautiful—surrounded by forests and mountains, it gives you the feeling of being immersed in nature. One of the distinctive touches is the presence of a resident local artist who regularly offers clay workshops, adding a unique cultural dimension to the experience.

We stayed here last May and the weather, location, rooms, and staff were all perfect. The property is stunning. The only reason for 4 stars is the food, breakfast was good, poolside snacks and drinks were nice, but the restaurant meals were disappointing. For comparison, we stayed at The Palace in Barcelona where the food was so good we didn’t want to leave. I hope the dining here improves because everything else was truly exceptional.

It was a pleasant experience. The management team was probably the most attentive team we’ve seen so far, making sure everything was okay. The fact that they provided water throughout the property to avoid using plastic was an amazing plus. The cleaning team did their job well, though sometimes they left bottles outside, which could fall and break.

The scenery is probably the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. We received daily gifts, which was really nice, along with fresh fruit and flowers every day.

However, the rooms and services didn’t quite match the price we paid. The restaurant we tried (Miro) was one of the weakest we’ve been to — there are far better options in Deia, so we ended up eating out most of the time.

The sunset cruise is a must and a really great addition. Overall, the experience was very nice, but we don’t feel it justified the price compared to other places we’ve stayed at for a similar cost.

Practically perfect in every way. It’s a luxury hotel with a true sense of place. If your taste is ultra modern you may not like it, but if you enjoy classic this is the place for you. Truly stunning views that photos can’t capture. Excellent service all around. Food and drinks were very good. Kids club was small but nice and plenty for kiddo. The included activities are amazing especially the sunset cruise. If you’re imagining a beach vacation this is set up in the cliffs so you’ll need to drive. Yes it’s expensive but one of the rare luxury hotels were it felt worth it.
