Love this hotel the staff are so nice it’s a wee walk from the main town but that’s not a problem. The suite we have is a great set up for us as a family of three. The lounge is great for food and picky bits during the day. My only issue is as we are looking onto the pool there were 8 men golfing during the day then in the pool being rather loud and drinking for 3 days back to back so if coming with small kids ask for a room away from the pool. My daughter was a little ill and the house keeping staff dealt with it promptly which I appreciate. We will definitely be back here!!

we arrived late because our hotel we booked in first place hat issues with the water. we got the last room on the level with lounge. parking was easy and safe, the rooms were very modern, no carpets… hallelujah and the breakfast in the lounge was gorgeous. the best of the hotel, however, was the staff. everybody without exception was just amazing. many thanks to Esmeralda and everybody else. you are doing a great job!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—just 10 minutes by bus (€5 per person) from the airport, a short walk (over the busy road) to the public beach, and only 15 minutes on foot to the old town and the cathedral. We booked a suite, which was very spacious and very comfortable, ideal for our family of three. The rooms were cleaned daily, and while the breakfast was fairly basic, there was enough variety to suit all our tastes. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

I wanted to love it, I really did.
I've given 3* which let's remember is average. And I think that's a good word - average.
For me it's the small details that make me think "I won't stay there again...". Firstly, the coffee in the breakfast is truly unforgivable. It's those machines you get in free business centres where the coffee is always sour and acrid tasting no matter if you choose an Americano, cappuccino or anything. Just weak nonsense. You get better coffee brewed and put in thermos jugs to serve yourself.
Secondly is that the TVs in the rooms aren't Smart TVs, so no apps, no casting (which for a business hotel especially is an issue for me)... it's 2025, smart TVs are not expensive, especially when the Melia could negotiate a wholesale rate.
Again this is a small detail, but they matter to me in a competitive market - no USB only charging outlets. I just... I've stayed in worse hotels that have this sorted. It's not even a new concept, it's been around for years now. And again a business focused hotel... You'd think they would be up to date with these tech developments.
The design of the hotel, whilst beautiful, does mean it's incredibly noisy. In your room, you can hear clearly conversations outside in the corridors, and people aren't even shouting. They're just talking normally. You also can hear every door thudding closed and being opened. If people are coming back late at night a little bit drunk, or children are screaming and laughing running around, you hear it all. As I say, you can hear conversations being spoken at a normal level.
Look, the staff were all very nice and friendly, and the bones of the hotel is nice - good design etc... it's just those details that make life in a hotel so much easier were missing. Because the hotel looks so modern in design you'd think the details would be, but no.
The beds were large and comfy and the Rituals toiletries were lovely.
It's about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral, and there's also a bus stop right outside so if you're looking to go into Palma proper, it's not an issue, it's connected. It's also very convenient for the airport, being one stop away on the A1 bus.

During my recent stay at Melia Palma Bay, I had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming, always greeting me with warm smiles and going above and beyond to ensure that l had everything I needed. Their high level of hospitality truly made my stay memorable.
I would especially like to commend Dominique from the
"Level" guest service, who was consistently attentive to my needs. Her friendly, professional attitude made me feel warmly welcomed every time we interacted, and her genuine care added a personal touch to my stay.
Dominique's commitment to excellent service was one of the highlights of my experience.
Additionally, the spa facilities at the hotel were fantastic. I felt completely relaxed after spending time there, thanks to the peaceful atmosphere and high-quality amenities. Olga from the spa area deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. She was attentive, kind, and made sure had everything I needed to fully enjoy my visit. Her care and professionalism enhanced the entire spa experience.

Pretty disappointing stay - web check in didn’t open up 48hrs as announced in app; neither was I able to use the upgrade voucher. Key card issued at the hotel didn’t work.
As a gold member they offer late check out subject to availability. Was first quoted 45 Euro for it; reminded her that I am a gold member and then she said she can’t offer the late check out till the time as they are busy and only provided a shorter late check out. Weird that it wasn’t a problem when they wanted to charge me 45€.
Breakfast is hit and miss, bottle of seeds was dirty for multiple days as nobody cleaned it.
Housekeeping reminded us after one day that we had the DND on; so we did it next day to let them clean but after that nobody bothered to check if we wanted room cleaning.
Limited toiletries; rest needs to be called and expect to wait at least 40min + for housekeeping to come.
Spa was closed the entire time of our stay.
Gym had water leaking.
Location of the hotel isn’t very desirable; bit too long to walk to old town; beach opposite is prone to have a lot of theft. Limited restaurants in the proximity.
Rooms are nice, but no bathroom door? Air condition settings weren’t reacting properly. Noise from the corridor can be heard very much in the room.
Pool rather small; so the gym but both do the job.

Great hotel. Near to beach and lots of restaurants. 20 minutes walk to city.
Entire team of staff was amazing, they were always helpful and friendly. Always smiling and happy. Room was clean and comfortable. Only thing we did not like about bathroom was it was little modern for family with kids but staff gave us a curtain to hang in the bathroom to provide some privacy.

Great hotel in the center of Palma. This hotel is extremely modern, with rooms being surprisingly big and comfortable. Food is a little pricy, however the value of the hotel rooms is incredible, giving their age and size. Staff are all lovely and the location of this hotel puts the beach, public transit, and the city center all within walking distance. 10/10 would stay again.

Lovely very stylish hotel with great views from the rooftop pool. Paid for a sea view room, which was worth it. Staff are very helpful ( particularly reception staff) and breakfast choices extensive and very tasty.
Pool food and drinks are nice but expensive. A 25-minute walk into town but local buses ok, albeit they are rammed at peak times and make for a chaotic, sweaty journey. We missed our stop as the volume of passengers meant we couldn't get off in time.
