Hotel Bon Sol Resort & Spa

Fabulous vacation! Stunning resort and wonderful staff. I would go back any day. The book area was perfect and the beach was a great getaway!

I cannot praise the staff enough for making our week’s stay truly unforgettable. I travelled with my mum and my 14-year-old son, and we stayed in a Junior Suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and looked after – you can really feel that this is a family-run hotel, with members of the family working daily in reception and restaurants. The food was first-class in both restaurants. We stayed on a full-board basis and every meal was excellent, even the buffet. Rooms, public areas, and pools were spotless – even the dark red carpet in the hallways was immaculately hoovered at all times ! There were so many thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special, such as water stations on every floor, an ironing room, and the owner, Martin, personally introducing himself to guests. One evening he even noticed we hadn’t been served vegetables with our main course and made sure it was sorted straight away. Entertainment was also fantastic – both restaurants had live music during service, and the piano bar hosted a singer each evening. From day one, I knew I would want to return to the Hotel Bon Sol, and I haven’t stopped recommending it since we got home. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the whole place feels like a museum of fine art and furniture collected from around the world. Although it looks small from the outside, the hotel spans a large area over two roads, leading down to its own private cove. Even after a week, we felt sure there were still hidden corners we hadn’t yet discovered! Whether you’re travelling alone, as a couple, or with family, this hotel will make you feel truly welcome. We were so sad to leave – and very envious of those lucky enough to still be there. I honestly cannot rate this hotel highly enough!

I have to this hotel a few times and it never fails the room which was on the 1st floor was one of the nicest rooms ever and we could have held a party on the balcony. The service in all areas was 1st class I have converted my partner to coming to bon sol. I will of course be back .

My husband & and I have just returned from 4 wonderful nights at the Bon Sol. We loved this hotel. It's quirky, charming & beautiful. We ate in the indoor restaurant every evening & thought the food was fabulous. Little touches like the owner, Martin, introducing himself and chatting to guests really gives your stay a personal touch. We would highly recommend Bon Sol & hope to return one day.

Picturesque hotel with friendly, attentive owners and staff. The hotel in general the and the rooms are well appointed; beds are comfy with a choice of pillows and lovely bedding. Good quality toiletries are provided together with bathrobes, slippers and beach towels. Wardrobes have plenty of hanging space and hangers, several drawers and a safe. Water stations can be found on the landings. The restaurants and bars provide an excellent variety of food and drinks, fantastic quality. The beach and pool areas were kept neat and tidy; there are shower and WC facilities close by; there is a lifeguard at the pool. Plenty of unbeds, parasols and tables; peaceful! Good location; a few shops/bars nearby with easy access to Palma by bus which stops metres from the hotel. The airport is a short journey away. Such a beautiful hotel and very relaxing - can't wait to return!

Just returned from a weeks holiday at this amazing hotel. This was my first visit but it won’t be my last. The hotel has so much character and I found the quirky yet classy decor absolutely stunning. Without exception all staff are warm and welcoming which is a massive bonus when travelling alone. A special mention to Fernando on reception who was so very kind. I stayed in room 235 which is a standard double. My room was at the end of a corridor and so peaceful and quiet. The only sound I heard was the crickets when I sat on the pretty balcony with views of the sea in the distance. The room was immaculate ( as was everywhere here) and on arrival there was a bottle of cava and chocolates as a welcome gift. Attention to detail and customer care is taken very seriously. There are a number of pools but I favoured the one in the beach gardens complete with pretty waterfalls. The gardens are beautiful like a tropical paradise. However, the icing on the cake has to be the food. Oh my goodness I can’t praise the chefs highly enough. There are two restaurants for dinner. Most people I spoke to favoured the al fresco beach restaurant which did offer a more casual experience than the main restaurant. Watching the sun set while looking out at the sea really is a lovely setting. However, for me I favoured the main restaurant and the fine dining experience. The food in here is truly top notch, the restaurant is beautiful and as an added bonus while dining you are serenaded by either a violinist or pianist. The restaurant staff are simply charming and very professional, The Bonsol is not a place to visit if you are looking for a Magaluf experience but for peace, relaxation (by the way the spa is great) and excellent service you won’t go far wrong. Away from the hotel I found the resort a bit bland and not very many nice walks but that would not deter me from returning, Thank you so very much and see you next year 😊

It is always lovely to return to the Bon Sol , the family Xamena make you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them or the team. The hotel is unique with its hillside location in Illetas ,it is a short distance to Palma ,The food & accommodation are first class , We would recommend it to anyone.

This medium size hotel ticks every box, being family run there is attention to every detail. Small private beach, really good food, Staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. One of the best hotels that I have stayed in, will certainly be returning.

A beautiful and very well run Hotel. Our second visit and look forward to our next soon. The food,service and staff excellent. So good to meet up with the Xamena family again.

I certainly agree with all the previous reviews, this is a great hotel. We asked for a quiet room, and that’s what we got - lovely & peaceful. Room immaculate & very comfortable. Both restaurants served delicious food, our preference was the beach restaurant as the weather was very warm. Dining had to be booked, which suited us, as it avoided any queues. The staff & family members all worked very hard, and I am finding it very difficult to criticise anything about the hotel. It’s in a quiet residential area with a very regular bus to Palma for 2 euros. Definitely no complaints from us, and I can fully understand why the family have so many returners.
