Hotel Can Cera

Exceeded expectations in every way. This hotel doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. It feels like a home. The decor is stunning and the service is incredible.

An amazing space and experience in the heart of Palma hidden behind giant wooden doors. The service was top notch 5 star, the space was truly a once in a lifetime spot. The beds were extremely comfy, the private use spa was relaxing, and the breakfast was extensive. The only downside we had was with sound proofing from the outside. Even with us being in the quiet alleyway room, we still heard dogs and people shouting to each other a fair amount. If you are a light sleeper plan to bring ear plugs, otherwise fantastic!

I stayed here a little over a week ago and I’m still thinking about it! The hotel was so so lovely and looked exactly as pictured online. My friend and I shared a Deluxe Room and it was incredibly spacious with a huge modern bathroom and beds that were super comfy. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily — also included slippers and robes! The staff was also so friendly and accommodating and the location was excellent being close to the major shopping area and lots of restaurants. Overall would 100% stay here again!

My husband and I travelled to Palma in February for my birthday and stayed at Can Cera for 4 nights. It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the center of the Old Town of Palma, in walking distance from everything. The decor is unique, with curated art, furniture pieces, and cozy corners to read or have a nice evening cocktail. The staff are exceptionally attentive and kind and go out of their way to ensure you have suggestions, reservations or anything at all to make the stay more comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone desiring a quiet getaway in a stunning location.

We've just returned from a 4 night stay at the Can Cera. A magnificent hotel in a superb location - we had a wonderful time! The hotel is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches. Breakfast is excellent and is of an extremely high standard with a wide variety of foods available. Staff at the hotel work hard to ensure that guests have an enjoyable stay - they are happy to make recommendations of places to visit and where to eat. In particular we'd like to thank Jose for all of the care he took to ensure that we enjoyed our stay - he really was a star! Would we stay at the Can Cera again? Most definitely - and we would have no reservations whatsoever about recommending it to others!

Just a wonderful hotel, tucked away in this pedestrian street, away from the noise yet few steps away from bars and restaurants.
The place is a refurbished old family house with a beautiful cout yard. Quiet, cosy, and peaceful. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The spa is small but great as you can use it privately for an hour at the time by asking about 1 or 2 hours beforehand. The beds are huge and extremely comfortable. There is no need for shower gel, hair dryer, or hair straightener. It's all there, laundry service available, slippers and robes available. Beautiful touches of hospitality like complimentary water, fixing the bed b4 the evening, chocolates next to the bed side table etc etc. If you get the chance, go to the cocktail bar on the 1st floor. We had the best negroni! 👌 I would go back over and.over again 🤩

A magnificent hotel in everything’s we had a lovely and wonderful time. They are detailed in everything, like the beautiful decorations, room cleaning, breakfast and check in service. The Staff at the hotel are friendly and they work hard to ensure that we have amazing experience.
They deserve 5 stars without any question.

We had a wonderful stay at Can Cera. Located in the heart of the old city it is a beautifully designed boutique hotel with 5 star service and amenities. The staff were all lovely and were more than happy to help with everything we needed. There are a lot of small touches that make the experience feel personal and luxurious like a complimentary bottle of Cava, a small bottle of their signature scent, daily water and delicious sweets every night and time in the spa. I would happily stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Let me start with the two negatives that the hotel needs to address. I’m 6’2 (188cm) but the front door of the hotel is built for much shorter people. The way the door is constructed, it is not obvious the first time you walk through. When I did so, I hit my head so hard that everyone in the hotel lobby and everyone on the street gasped (and some came to my rescue). To make matters worse, the hotel employee who checked us in and gave us a tour mentioned that I was not the first to hit my head. Well, I hope to be the last. The hotel needs to add some indication warning guests of the low doorway. My head throbbed my entire first day in Palma and I did not sleep well as a result.

The second safety issue is that the hotel spa which is on the ground floor is behind a door and down two steps that are not expected. Additionally, they are not very deep landings so if don’t realize that there are steps there, it leads to a tumble and a hard landing. This can easily be remedied by a verbal warning by the hotel employee who leads you into the spa area.

Now for the positives. The hotel is beautiful, old but updated with modern amenities, and staffed with people well trained in ensuring that your stay is top-notch. The rooms are all large and well-appointed. The bed was softer than I like but very comfortable. Both the two b and the shower in the bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Our towels were switched out everyday and the room cleaned to perfection.

Upon arrival, you’re offered a glass of the most delightful cava and there’s a complimentary bottle in your room for enjoyment. The hotel has a trademark scent and they offer a small bottle for you to take home as well as offering it for sale. They clean the spa between usage including emptying the hot tub so that you are ensured to sit in fresh and clean water. There is onsite parking at 36€/day but accessing this part of the city by car is tricky to say the least.

If given the opportunity, I would definitely stay here again.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in, a thoughtfully restored 18th century Mallorcan 'Palace' house in a great but quiet location in Palma Old town. Walking distance to many local restaurants and bars as well as all the 'must do' cultural sites of Palma. A quiet oasis in the middle of a bustling city! Guilia and Anna were wonderful hosts. If your budget or your need for a once in a lifetime hotel stay stretch es to Can Cera; stay here! You won't be disappointed!!
