Madrid, C/ Claudio Coello, 141 🧭 Map
The hotel was exaclty what the website advertised. The room was spacious, new, comfortable, and clean. The closet has a lot of room, there is a big desk, a small kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, lots of electrical sockets, and a delicious breakfast included in the price. The bathroom is functional and modern. The location is excellent, safe, and beautiful, and saved me money to go to the airport...
Fantastic cost-benefit for Madrid.
Pros: Location, cleanliness, politeness and professionalism by the staff, vibrant atmosphere, powerful air conditioning even with 39°C outside, room service, very good priced meals.
Could be better: the cooktop becomes useless as there are no pans or cookers; studio is a little smaller and less comfortable, when we compare to similar ones from other cities. But considering...
Reasonably priced, well serviced, close to where I wanted to be. Breakfast was basic but OK. I didn't take advantage of some of the facilities (e.g. rooftop swimming pool) but it was nice to know they were available. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
I’m very forgetful and the staff were extremely nice, went out of their way to help me extend my stay by one night
I was a Resident Student at RESA Claudio Coello during four consecutive years, that is, all throughout my Bachelors Degree in Madrid. To say that RESA and its staff have become my second home, and my second family, would be an understatement. Year after year, I saw no reason to move out. The residence has wonderful facilities, is located in one of the most exclusive districts of Madrid, and offers...
Don't choose this place if you are traveling here. It is a bit far from popular attractions and not easy to find.

I'm particularly curious as to why there are still negative reviews. There is no perfect hotel in the world. The hotel sheets are so safe that you can almost sleep naked. I have checked in countless times and the staff in every class are warm and hospitable❤
Yeh it was good the only thing is that some beds weren’t done but no big deal
Great value for money (85€/double room with private bathroom), very clean, and the room is nice and modern—just like in the photos! The balcony is lovely, and the location is excellent!
The room is really nice with a double bed and a big balcony with fantastic view of the city. Service staff are good and helpful.
Everything is good except for the bathroom drainage smell, it has the pipes odor the whole day and night. We had to keep the toilet lip covered and the toilet door closed at all times…
Good value for the price, well located. Beds are old style regular bunk beds with no curtains, but got individual power outlets and lamps. Also provide towels included in the price.
Could have some couches for more comfort and improving socializing in the common areas, instead of only small tables.
The location is convenient.
The staff are friendly
I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice.
However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet.
I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement.
If you are a solo traveller that...

room00 Ventura Hostel
Madrid, C/ Ventura de la Vega, 5 🧭 Map
The bed frame abit flimsy 😅 i slept at top bunk feel like swaying , so if you are big size, suggest you pick bottom bunk… the hostel look abit old…
The location was amazing, super close to reach by bus if you come from the airport. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had shampoo and soap. There's an elevator, so I didn't have to carry my 23 kg bag. The included breakfast looked very good> buffet style, bread, fruits, cakes, cereal, cheese and coffee. WiFi was strong and I used it to work, since I work online
Good location, beds could be better
Perfect location, close to everything you need in Madrid. Atentive and polite receptionists. Would come back again with a pleasure.
It was great, staffs were nice, although I’ve waited about 10minutes to check in, but staffs are extremely friendly and supportive, 24 hours reception, and you have everything you need in this hostel!
One of the best hostel in central Madrid. Everything is so near. Strategic location. The staff is friendly and nice. The beds and Washrooms are clean too. Kudos to room007 team. Highly recommended and i will definitely come back for my next summer holidays. Mucho gracias!

Way Hostel Madrid
Madrid, Relatores 17 🧭 Map
It was a very pleasant trip. The staff was very patient. The 24-hour front desk could provide timely help and service. The environment of the 6-person girls' dormitory was very clean and tidy, and the blackout curtain was also very good. There was no need to worry about affecting others.
Very well located. Near metro station.
Excellent service, the guys who work there are the best.
decent hostel, very crowded. room was supposed to have an ensuite bathroom but the room i was assigned to had a bathroom outside, which was pretty inconvenient. there’s no lifts too. i stayed on the first floor but it was right next to the main street which can get pretty noisy.
Clean and hygienic, recommended
Breakfast is good, the Spanish dough sticks are delicious.

Petit Hostel La Latina - Adults Only
Madrid, Ronda de Segovia 14 🧭 Map
I was in a shared female dorm. Nice bed and location. A towel was provided but be prepared for a cold water shower. No real kitchen to speak of. Just a small iced over fridge and microwave. It’s in a nice location and easy to walk to all the hot spots.
A surprisingly nice experience. I stayed in a mixed room for 8. Everyone was quiet and neat. The bathroom and toilet is very clean. The staff Arecia was very friendly. I’d stay again.
The bed was comfortable and the toilet and bathroom were clean. The location is convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
I found this hostel to be ok. Beds were comfortable. Its location was not central, there was never anyone around to ask a question, no maps or help provided to get around Madrid and the lights chronically shut off every 40 seconds to save them money on electricity. So ridiculous and completely unsafe. Putting in contacts, diabetic shot, walking up and down stairs etc and then you are in pitch black...
Everything was fine except the hostel was crowded. But its not their fault. Overall for 1 night was ok
Good hostel. Self check-in machine just right in front of the hostel. The female's room is so small like only one person pass through each time. But the toilet and bathroom is good though.

Hostal Abaaly
Madrid, Calle Plaza de San Miguel, 5 🧭 Map
If you're only planning on staying overnight, it's convenient for public transport and sightseeing.
But there are no other advantages.
There's no noise control, so some people might not be able to sleep, and there were cockroaches. Not a good place.
Service was excellent, however the room was in a balcony area and I couldn’t sleep the whole night. They were under construction accross the street, which is the Mercado de San Miguel and that didn’t let us sleep.
They comply with what is promised in the description. It is a hostel which has an old main structure, but a modern hallway, rooms and bathrooms. The bathroom is shared but there are 3 on each floor, which means that there are enough per floor. It is clean, from sheets to bathrooms. Yes I recommend it if you are looking for these features!
It has a very good location, the beds are comfortable and
despite the noise in the morning and at night, the location is just perfect. And the girl at the reception was super friendly and helpful (and hot too)

Great place with great location! I was in a 12 person dorm and everything was nice. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms had good conditions and it was all very clean. You have things to do every night so you're never bored. Overall I loved the experience and I would definitely recommend it and come back in the future.
Overall, it's a nice location and cool building, but photos don't tell the truth. Everything is very old and needs maintenance. I rented a bed in a 5-person dorm, but there were 6 people. There are better options for the same price in the same area.
Probably one of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in on this trip, the cleaners do a really good job and the front desk staff are always happy to help. Things don’t happen as planned though, the pub crawl “starts” 2130 but you don’t leave until 2330 so it’s not really a crawl when the first bar is the hostel you’re staying in. The drinking games started over an hour late and then they wouldn’t let you...
They know how to throw down. They host bar crawls EVERY night for 20 Euros which includes 4 free drinks for non residents and 5 free drinks for people staying at the hostel. Our room was beautiful (private room) and their service was excellent. Our bathroom clogged and when we informed them, they got it fixed within an hour. They also host events and dinners often at the hostel. Only downside is that...
Stayed in a 2 person private room. The private bathrooms were weird as they were outside of the bedroom. For the price we paid, the room was decent.
As for the bar, I'm confident the beer was watered down. The bar was also a bit small for the size of the hostel.
The best part of our stay was the service provided by the front desk receptionist- Angela. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable...
Great place, great people! Had an amazing time at the Cats Party Hostel in Madrid.
People who work there are nice, helpful, funny and very friendly.
I’m coming back for sure!
