A good value small hotel. Clean with pleasant staff and rooms. Only drawback is poor wifi reception a lot of the time. Otherwise a nice central place to spend a few nights.
Perfect location, nice staff and clean rooms. Everything you need when visiting Center of Madrid. Totally recommended!!!
Great location and easy access to all transportation means, cleanliness very good, streets around not that great, breakfast satisfactory, some of the staff not so friendly
excellent 3 star hotel, in madrid City Center. very good AC, good shower and has a deposit safe in the room, clean room. friendly staff, OK breakfast. close to a supermarket (Carrefour). Overall a great cost-effective place to stay for a couple of nights in Madrid
Great location, clean and super accessible no issues either with the room, the bed was comfortable, and facilities and breakfast were all great It's really great for anyone looking to explore Madrid and have a good base, and it's on 30 euro to get a taxi to the airport
This is my first trip to Madrid and this hotel is situated so centrally. The breakfast buffet has a good selection. Rooms opening onto the street have a very calming effect.

A nice place for your stay in Madrid. The rooms were clean, the bed really cosy. Really liked the fact that you get a bathtub wth a shower 2 in 1. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is a couple minutes by foot away from a metro station and there is a bus stop right at the front door. However, you need to pay extra to get access to wi-fi in your room (I've never seen something like that). The...
Very good experience: helpful staff, clean rooms, cozy lobby and breakfast corners. Everything is simple, by which I mean devoid of anything superfluous. A good place for those who mean to spend their day out and enjoy a clean room at night. Caution: not for early sleepers: the cafe-restaurant in front of the hotel is open until midnight.
Rooms are spatious, clean, modern looking, but there is no mini fridge or hair dryer inside the room. Breakfast is decent, there is ham, cheese, omlette, but the eggs never met the chicken, coffee and a few croissants.
Good location. Clean, comfortable beds. Great showers. Food reasonable. Great value for money.

The location of the hotel is perfect, metro few minutes away. The personnel was very friendly! The only disadvantage was noise at night (due to thin walls, or our room location...). Apart from that we highly recommend it!
Nice space, nice staff and nice breakfast. There's just no phone charger near the bed and we cant regulate room temperature. But is a a very nice place for the price and location
Gooood option to stay in city center .. Everything is nearby Workers staff are soooooooooo friendly and goood .. They know English which is really good and makes you feel very responsible.. Try to reserve by booking as I think its cheaper from direct reservation.
Great staff, location, breakfast... overall really great place. The wifi works reasonably well (room close to lobby). Very few electrical sockets
Hard to find small European room. Clean and nice staff

Nice hôtel with spacious room, Super clean, quite neighborhood,
👍🏼: - Very spacious rooms - Gym - You can leave your luggage 👎🏼 - Extremely noisy. You can literally hear everything that is going on outside. Very difficult to have a good sleep - Don’t really recommend the breakfast
The location is great. It’s in the Salamanca neighborhood which is very desirable, cute, and nice and not far from the high end Jorge Juan street too. The A/C was not working in our room. Rooms are decent, but clean. The elevators are the worlds smallest elevators only fitting two people barely. Next time I’ll stay at another hotel that’s adults only. Our first morning eating breakfast was met with...
Selected for its proximity to a Metro Station and 24 hour Gym the Neo Magna is a no frills Hotel available under $100. Located in a fairly quiet area the rooms are not particularly soundproofed from others in the same building. Toiletries are low quality but beds, water pressure and WiFi are adequate.
Very good, clean and comfortable. Amazing staff. Great location near restaurants and bars. Only thing missing is a car park ence 4 stars and not 5.
Clean, modern, good service and great location. Always delivers. Been coming Since 2015.

The hotel was great value for money. Location was amazing with easy walking access across the tourist destinations. Room was a bit small. The room temperature was very high and the staff kindly listened to the issue and tried to solve the problem but still it couldn't get fixed. The only solution was to open the balcony door at night to keep the room temperature reasonable.
Perfect stay-excellent value, the staff was kind and helpful when it came to printing necessary travel documents, the breakfast was great, and the room was more than comfortable. I’ll be returning next time I’m in Madrid.
Nice hotel overall! The reception lady was very nice. There was a bit of an old smell when we came into the room. I’d say cleanness is 7/10. But it’s nice to stay in. Not bad or anything. There’s a terrace on the 6th floor but you couldn’t see the street from it. Recommend to take lower floors rooms. The shower was awful, maybe it was only on our room but it had go from hot to cold then very hot and...

Nice hotel, everything clear, pretty good interior and friendly personnel. But for some reason instead of twin bed there are two single close to each other. What a cool, modern hotel, in a convenient location, within walking distance to lots of sights and restaurants. We loved the clean, quiet room with a HUGE shower (wall mount and wand) and a well-located place to hang up our clothes. After a day of sightseeing in busy Madrid, it was a pleasure to relax in the room. There was a Nespresso machine on each floor, yum. Check in and out was great, the front...
The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. It is quite run down. The coffee machine is in the hallway, one per floor. The 4 nights I stayed only worked one day. The room with balcony overlooking Prado street is quite noisy. This access street is usually saturated with cars and very busy on weekends. The curtains did not close completely, the plinths were chipped, the use of time and a long etc.. The...
A beautiful place in the heart of Madrid night area. Artistic place with stylish rooms. Nice bathroom facilities in room. Massive TV that doubles as a mirror. No breakfast here but they provide coffee pods for some energy before facing the outside world.
Excellent location in the heart of the city, with short walks to all the major museums, major squares, and of course great restaurants. The rooms are clean, the bathroom/shower suite spacious, and the quality-price ratio is good. Just back from another stay at this hotel. We just love the location and the friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in one of the terrace rooms which was spacious and had a lovely terrace to sit out in to enjoy the sun. Room was also cleaned to a high standard every day. Great location - everything is very much in walkable distance (or by use of frequent public transport options). Friendliest staff imaginable - especially Stanislava who I was speaking to on my last night! Thank you for a great stay!
A decent stay in a great location. Positives: very well situated for both the train station and main sites, with a good breakfast and a good sized room and bathroom with friendly staff: Negatives: it can be a bit noisy in the rooms (little street noise but limited internal sound proofing). I arrived at 1pm checkin time but the room was not ready so waited around 30 minutes, the staff did however put...
Nice hotel, although a bit noisy. Helpful staff and very good breakfast.
Uncomfortably small rooms. The bathroom has a glass door opening onto the bed/room.
Good: The staff is amazing. Helpful, attentive, friendly … simply superb. The location of the hotel is amazing as well. The AC worked well and the balconies were quaint. The rest: My room in the 2nd floor was surprisingly large, which was surprising for Madrid Central. However, it needs fresh paint as there was many marks and stains on the wall. The bed was not the most comfortable and quite small...
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Miau for 10 days over the Christmas holiday this year. Stayed at Hotel Ganivet with a few friends earlier this week. I had stayed here previously with my wife and I'm glad to say standards have been maintained. Was a nice hotel located within minutes of Plaza Majoré. Not a bad drive to the airport (20-30 minutes). In house cafe/bar is somewhat lacking in variety but good for a quick bite. Main dining for breakfast is top notch and offers many different options.
Sitting here in the bar waiting for the taxi to run us both back to the airport. Both by wife and I agree that the hotel is ideally located to all the local attractions of Madrid. The staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and practical. If, when we return we would at no problem booking in again 100%. Thank you for a great weekend Hotel Ganivet.
Warm and cozy, everyone was very friendly and helpful, have great recommendations for dinner. When they have a restaurant recommendation, they would give us that restaurants business card with the hotel's stamp on it and the restaurants would give us an extra treat at the end of dinner. The one day it was raining when we were leaving and try gave my friend and me an umbrella to use for each of us....
Very good hotel, seems worth more than 3 stars. Everywhere is very clean , there is a reasonably priced cafe/bar which stays open till midnight. The breakfast was much better than I expected with plenty to choose from. Would come again.
PROs: Nice breakfast, good location, kind staff, pretty rooftop pool area, decent value. CONs: Needs some updating, fresh paint, new bathrooms [ours had some mold in the shower and water damage on the bathroom door], the bed/pillow were basic and somewhat uncomfortable. Overall, it's not a bad hotel by any means, but I'm not sure that I would stay here again.

Excellent choice located at the north center of Madrid. Very good breakfast, super clean rooms, friendly staff and close to metro stations in line 10 (2 blocks) and line 1 (4 blocks). Shops, restaurants and convenience stores all around. Very much recommended!
Hotel is quite old and worn down. Was a fine stay for a few nights but wouldn't stay here again. Many much nicer and newer hotels in the area. Nothing was dirty but it definitely felt very used which was unpleasant.
Staff is nice and welcoming, and the hotel is very clean. Need a little touch of modernity but it’s good overall.

The location is not ideal if you want to walk or take short trips to the center of town. Very few restaurants within walking distance. Day 1 and so far I have found that the concierge is the personification of a raging hemorrhoid, the air conditioning only cools the bathroom, (leaving the rest of the room uncomfortably warm), and the fridge runs just slightly below room temperature. Hotel is in a good location, easy to access subway. It's an old building but I expect that in Europe. So the room was quite small and we could definitely hear people in the hallway. Overall I think it was good value.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for couple of nights. The bed is comfortable, the room spacious, the bathtub in the bathroom gives a nice relief after the whole day in Madrid's heat. Perfectly reasonable hotel in central Madrid. The room was clean and was tidied every day by housekeeping - a rarity in chain hotels. My only gripe was that the soap dispensers were not refilled during my stay, meaning I ran out of hand soap on day two. Otherwise a more than adequate stay - many thanks!
Great hotel, but unfortunately, we had a room outside the petrol station refulling taps and had a fuel tanker delivery at 5am in the morning, which made lots of noise and strong smell of petrol. Was woken up by this and had to close the window.
