Hotel Madrid Chamartin, Affiliated by Melia
Madrid, Mauricio Ravel, 10 🧭 Map
The location is not ideal if you want to walk or take short trips to the center of town. Very few restaurants within walking distance. There was a lot of noise early in the morning, which according to the hotel was due to the cleaning crew. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. It is ideal for those traveling via the train station, needing a clean hotel to stay in.
3.5*. Very helpful staff, good breakfast buffet and spacious room. The hotel is changing the owner and going through remodeling, perhaps it will get better. The pool area looks bad now and no gym facility.
The best location to Renfe station. The rooms are renovated and cozy. Also Staffs are well trained and have hospitality.
Excellent service specially by a young lady from Cuba in the reception. Breakfast was excellent and so was the price. Location is superb if you are going to the airport by public transportation. There's a cab stand one block away as well. Parking was very easy.
One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Nice spacious rooms with all amenities. Amazing staff. Great breakfast. Nice location. Everything was good. Loved the place.
In Spain the quality/price ratio is quite good. This hotel offer good services at the right price. Not near the center but optimally communicated.

Fantastic location. Central for walking to main areas, great for transport links and shops. Close to lots of restaurants. Rooms are ok. In need of an update. Clean enough but bathrooms need re-tiling and could do with new carpets. Our room was on the 2nd floor directly over the busy street of Gran via but it wasn't noisy with the windows closed and we slept well. Twin beds in our room. 1 very comfy...
Great location and great hotel. The hotel is older but very nice. The staff was very helpful when we discovered the ceiling in our bathroom was leaking and got us put into a new room right away.
Great location of the hotel! Located in gran. Via, big street that lives. Well isolated rooms, not a lot of noise from the outside. Airconditioning is present, spacey room. Would not get dinner here tho, it was the only thing I cannot recommend (microwaved stuff, not really my thing) Breakfast is basic, but okay/good.
Very good service, had to leave early in the morning, asked if we could have some...
I stayed 3 nights on July and I think this is value for money hotel. The room was compact, with mini kitchen very helpful for making coffee in the morning. I requested the room with Gran Via view, and the hotel gave me. The soundproof was good, I didn’t hear any noise from the street. The pillow was amazing that made me sleep well. Thank you.
I was assigned the upper level rooms and they were very big. Like a studio apartment. if you have a large family this will be ideal. Bathroom was renovated however the rest of the room was dated. The reception is on the first floor, bare that in mind. Didn't use the restaurant so I can't comment on that.
Everything was perfect. Staff is very polite, breakfast was good and room cleaning amazing. Location is perfect for parties and nightlife and reception is open 24/7.

Great location and helpful staff. Rooms are very basic and you can hear a lot of noise from others in the corridors. Would avoid if a light sleeper. Good for one night, no frills.
A decent hotel in the heart of Madrid. The rooms are only small, but clean and comfortable. Right next to Chueca and the central gay district. So much to see and do in the surrounding streets.
Perfect stay in downtown Madrid. A room for 3 very confortable et good size. So lucky to have a patio.
Very well located to explore the historic downtown, and close to the subway (Calleo and Gran Via) to explore the other neighborhood.
Lots of restaurants, shopping options.
Surprisely calm.
The staff is very welcoming.
The location is perfect! On the gran.
I payed for a larger room and what I got is a room that was probably originally one big room that split to 2, became my room was very small and has some sort of a wall in side or cubicle in the middle of the room. It felt like there’s a room inside ours. We’ve complained and got a different room but had to wait 2 hours for it.
We was for 2 months in Europe. From London,Barcelona,Lisbon,Paris, etc. This hotel is the best of all hotels ,spectacular views, incredible service, very clean, excellent location and wonderful reception people. This hotel is very very nice.
Family of 6 , we stay 10th floor at the 3 bedroom suite and we had an amazing view
Breakfast ok
The hotel position is excellent
Polite and friendly
You have to change elevator at 3rd floor, but overall its not a big deal
The only thing I have to mention is that the gym is extremely small and you pay extra 6e to entry, doesn't make any sense

The good: well-appointed rooms, the bathroom in particular is modern with very good fixtures.
Excellent checking/front desk staff. Easily the most professional, courteous and friendly of any AC brand that I've experienced in Europe. I appreciated being able to check in early.
Good location, close to the airport and downtown areas.
The not-so-good: why do AC hotels always put their most miserable,...
I stayed here for one night and thought the hotel was very nice and service was excellent. The front desk was very helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean and nice. I had breakfast in the morning and the options were great and the food was tasty.
We have stayed 1-2 weeks each every year in the last 3 years and it has always been a great experience that we keep coming back.
The staff is super friendly and hospitable. I have seen a lot of them again and again in the last years and they always have a smile on their face and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
The breakfast is really nice and the restaurant downstairs - Talcuan...
Nice, quiet location a short walk from the Cartagena Metro stop. Nice breakfast restaurant, with a great spread and wonderful staff. All the interactions with the hotel staff were very nice. The room was large with twin beds (I was a solo traveler), and everything about it, including the bathroom was very impressive.
I was disappointed when I checked in to be told I was to pay over $600. The man was hopeless so the manager had to fix my booking payment. I booked 2 months before at the rate of 388 for 3 nights. Overall my wife and I were not impressed with the poor check-in service and the hotel was very average. When a mistake is made by the hotel they should offer a free drink or complimentary breakfast. We will...
The room was large and with a nice parquet instead of an ugly moquette. Unfortunately it didn't feel very clean and I had just one very small window.
The price was way too high compared to the general level of the hotel. More than 300€ per night, not including breakfast! Also the area isn't very nice, but well connected (as the entire city tbh). The building from the outside is very ugly.

Stayed at this hotel for close to a week where we had internal meetings. Clean rooms, decent breakfast. Place is conveniently located in the center of attractions making it accessible. Highly recommended if you want convenience and decent food and lodging.
Great location, room size was what you'd expect of a city hotel. Room itself was modern and well appointed with views of Gran Via but soundproofed enough to keep sound out. Excellent value for the price, since the hotel is within a short walk of all major attractions in the heart of Madrid. There is also the Gran Via metro stop right outside. It was a fantastic weekend with my family in Madrid. The location of the hotel is awesome, and also the breakfast
Instead it was a thre star hotel my exparience was incredible. Th buffet isn't very big bat it has got a lot of variety.
I loved this hotel. Great location, emjoyed walking around the area. We took the metro from thr airport and the station is right by the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Good pricing as well.
The room was of good size but there was no fridge and coffee maker. We requested for 2 rooms at the higher floors but was given rooms at the first floor. Spacious, clean room with a nice view. Friendly, efficient staff, perfect location 1 minute from Principe Pio and 10 mins from the center of town.
Surprisingly the hotel have spacious rooms that are clean and well maintained, not like hotel rooms in Europe in general. Comfy bed and clean towels. The slight negative I could possibly put about the rooms is they not provide electric kettle and iron.
Quite pleased with everything on the breakfast, fresh bread, jams, cheese, coffee/tea/varied hot chocolate and fruits. City street view from the restaurant...
I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel with breakfast included. The room was super cosy and comfortable, with nice views of the park. I had an issue with my flight tickets and the employees were super helpful and basically solved it. Finally, the free buffet was completely satisfactory, worth the extra with no doubts. It was my first time here but I will choose it whenever I come back for sure!
Roons were ok.
Only thing is the housekeeper was too loud when taking out all.of her cleaning supplies ( vacuum mops etc) too much banging!on the walls. 4th floor . Not nice.
Wonderful hotel, extremely close to ground transport, restaurants, and shopping areas.

Great location and nice premises.
Walking distance from downtown and multiple typical Spanish restaurants and pubs.
hello all we stayed in hotel centro last week and what a lovely hotel. It was so clean and the staff were so helpful to us at all time giving us guides to where we should go and then welcoming us Home thank you to all the staff
I expected a bit more from a Melia affiliate. The hotel is nice, in any case. Clean, well positioned and the personell is very gentle. A bit noisy.
There is a constant machine noise during the night which could be disturbing for some people. However the place is confortable and the breakfast wonderfull!
Very centrally located. Grand Via, shopping hub, walking distance to the Oriente Plaza, behind hotel is the local mercato, awesomely fresh Iberico ham and local small eating joints. Tryp has the best breakfast and friendly staffs.
The hotel is in a good location in Gran Via, the rooms are clean and quite modern. The beds are okay, not super nice, and the pillows are the classic Spanish kind (big and hard). The bathroom was big and in good condition. We paid extra for an exterior room with balcony. This balcony was huge and the view over the busy street was great, especially at night!

as 3star hotel is fine. good location, can reach many sightseeing point by walk. hotel room is clean, bath room is big, bed is comfort. kettle in room is good for people who like drink hot tea. but one question that free bottle water only serve for first day?

No pool or rooftop but Gran Via is only a few moments away and full of rooftop bars anyway. Great value for money for the location and quality of hotel. I will stay again, thanks!
Stayed in the suite for 3 nights and it was really worth it. 30m space with a bath and shower. Huge bed and okay-ish internet connection. Worth the experience.

Located close to subway station within walking distance. Great beds, good shower and nice breakfast. But, alas, no barservice, just a grab and go fridge for drinks in your room.
This hotel is a good base for exploring Madrid. You can walk to Gran Via street. Metro and bus stops are close by. Hotel staff is polite, and the early check-in was a particularly nice gesture. Our room was a bit smaller, but quite enough for the two of us. It was very clean, with comfortable bed. It would have been nice if there was a bar in the lobby, but it didn't spoil the overall impression which...
It is a nice hotel. I like it.
However nobody at hotel smiles, it is strange only smiling staff I see is, room cleaning staff.
She did the best at 7th floor.
The worst thing on the other hand is the thickness of the walls. You have to be lucky of your room neighbour.
Otherwise you can listen every noise of your neighbour.
Breakfast was also fine and satisfying however no smile...
We stayed here for 2 nights. Decent hotel but need some improvement.
Room is spacious enough and clean, they made our bed everyday. Good location, close to the metro station and walkable to Sol if you want to. There are few restaurants and supermakrets nearby so good to get yourself some food and drinks. Hotel staff were professional and friendly.
However, the wall was paper thin, could hear people...
Extremely great location if you want to explore the city center just by walking.
The room is very clean and cozy. BEST towels ever! 🤍
We had an issue with the shower but receptionist offered us a solution. I really appreciate you for being so client-oriented and ensuring the best experience for every guest.
Day 1 and so far I have found that the concierge is the personification of a raging hemorrhoid, the air conditioning only cools the bathroom, (leaving the rest of the room uncomfortably warm), and the fridge runs just slightly below room temperature. We had a really good experience with this place. The personnel was nice and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, while the location was great for us, situated pretty close to metro stations. The cleaning service was also very good, doing its job every single day. It wasn't cheap, but I would say that it's worth it!
Small rooms but clean. CAREFUL with id cards don't forget to ask for it back. I had to pay to get mine back. Location is great ambiance restaurants .
Pros:
* superb breakfast,
* very friendly reception staff,
* clean room,
* access to the swimming pool,
* large washroom,
* convenient location (two metro stations nearby).
Cons:
* central air conditioning was not working strongly enough in hot July (it was hard to sleep in the hot room),
* kind of outdated and worn out furniture in the room.
Absolutely excellent hotel in the outskirts of central Madrid. Clean and comfortable at a decent price. Has a pool but it's not always open to hotel guests.
Excellent choice located at the north center of Madrid. Very good breakfast, super clean rooms, friendly staff and close to metro stations in line 10 (2 blocks) and line 1 (4 blocks). Shops, restaurants and convenience stores all around. Very much recommended!
Hotel is quite old and worn down. Was a fine stay for a few nights but wouldn't stay here again. Many much nicer and newer hotels in the area. Nothing was dirty but it definitely felt very used which was unpleasant.

This seems to be a small hotel chain. It has clean quiet room but a little small. Ok for us as we were out all day. It had a great shower. Our hotel was centrally located and surprisingly quiet for where we were at. Awesome breakfast and attentive service. Totally recommend.😊
Amazing service! Perfect place to stay with kids and teens! We are 7 traveling with 5 teenagers and one of them got sick, Miguel the front desk attendant called their attending physician and within 15 minutes we had a call from the physician solving our problem. Impeccable service!
