Madrid, Gran Vía, 25 🧭 Map
Stayed at this hotel for close to a week where we had internal meetings. Clean rooms, decent breakfast. Place is conveniently located in the center of attractions making it accessible. Highly recommended if you want convenience and decent food and lodging.
Great location, room size was what you'd expect of a city hotel. Room itself was modern and well appointed with views of Gran Via but soundproofed enough to keep sound out. Excellent value for the price, since the hotel is within a short walk of all major attractions in the heart of Madrid. There is also the Gran Via metro stop right outside. Staff were excellent as well....very polite, professional...
It was a fantastic weekend with my family in Madrid. The location of the hotel is awesome, and also the breakfast
Instead it was a thre star hotel my exparience was incredible. Th buffet isn't very big bat it has got a lot of variety.
I loved this hotel. Great location, emjoyed walking around the area. We took the metro from thr airport and the station is right by the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Good pricing as well.
The room was of good size but there was no fridge and coffee maker. We requested for 2 rooms at the higher floors but was given rooms at the first floor. The previous room that we stayed in, was better, with a fridge and coffee maker. This is the reason why we rebooked this Hotel because we had a good experience with them. But now we learned our lesson. If not for its central location from everything...

All the negative reviews had us concerned for our trip, but we had a delightful stay at Compostela suites. We stayed in room 1320, wasn't noisy at all, we slept great whilst we were there. The location was close to a mall and supermarkets as well as places to eat. The kitchen is very ill equipped so only real things we could make were cereal in the morning but this was the only bad thing. Our room...
After a cancelled flight, the airline booked us this hotel for the night. We were mostly surprised by the quality of the rooms and the service. The hotel is a lil bit far from the city but near to MADRID Airport
After a frustrating and long night spent at the airport trying to resolve some issues we had with flights this was our first positive experience since the previous evening when being checked in at our original airport. Due to delays we missed our connection and were sent to this hotel. Upon arrival reception was very busy but the staff dealt with us as quickly as quickly as they could and were incredibly...
Nice apartments, comfortable and modern. Very few appliances, for example, there were only 3 plates and 3 knives and forks. Big pool outside for use in the summer. Well located.

Nice hotel in a quiet industrial area. Close to train station. Very helpful and friendly staff taught us on the metro system. Has a lovely outdoor caféteria which was nice to enjoy after a long warm day travelling.
Very good hotel, beautiful design. A pleasant and warm welcome. Parking is subject to a charge if you do not book through the host's website.

The one thing that beat the location (almost unbeatable) and the room (flawless) was the Staff! The most attentive group of young professionals I've ever met in the hospitality business! i recommend this hotel for your next stay in Madrid! A+ service!
The mouse pads at reception need replacing, they look broken, which doesn't make a good first impression. In room 318, the fan behind the fridge is annoying and runs all night (far too loudly) - why weren't passive fridges with passive (silent) cooling used here? The cabinet to the minibar is worn out at the handles and needs replacing. And why the hell is there no toilet brush in the toilet in room...
We were part of a tour to take the Camino de Santiago and they put us up at this place. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. There breakfast was first class. They also have a nice roof top area where one can go to relax or hang out with friends. Would recommend this place. Nicely situation in downtown Madrid and walking distance to many scenic and historic areas.
Perfect service in a winning location! Most of the attractions are within walking distance and those further away have a metro station in front of the hotel entrance. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed very comfortable. The service was excellent, 5 star service! The breakfast is very tasty. Definitely a place to return to.
An amazing hotel, right in the heart of Madrid. Very quiet and well appointed rooms. The breakfast was excellent with good variety. Superfriendly and helpful staff. Most of the tourist attractions in Madrid were at walkable distance.
The location is fantastic! Next to la Gran Via, many shops, the Plaza del Sol and a host of other neighborhoods. The hotel is small and simple but very well decorated and furnished, with comfortable rooms and large bathrooms. Housekeeping was excellent, room was cleaned daily really well, towels changed whenever requested, toiletries offered. Staying at the hotel includes access to a breakfast buffet...

The location is not ideal if you want to walk or take short trips to the center of town. Very few restaurants within walking distance. There was a lot of noise early in the morning, which according to the hotel was due to the cleaning crew. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. It is ideal for those traveling via the train station, needing a clean hotel to stay in.
3.5*. Very helpful staff, good breakfast buffet and spacious room. The hotel is changing the owner and going through remodeling, perhaps it will get better. The pool area looks bad now and no gym facility.
The best location to Renfe station. The rooms are renovated and cozy. Also Staffs are well trained and have hospitality.
Excellent service specially by a young lady from Cuba in the reception. Breakfast was excellent and so was the price. Location is superb if you are going to the airport by public transportation. There's a cab stand one block away as well. Parking was very easy.
One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Nice spacious rooms with all amenities. Amazing staff. Great breakfast. Nice location. Everything was good. Loved the place.
In Spain the quality/price ratio is quite good. This hotel offer good services at the right price. Not near the center but optimally communicated.

The good: well-appointed rooms, the bathroom in particular is modern with very good fixtures. Excellent checking/front desk staff. Easily the most professional, courteous and friendly of any AC brand that I've experienced in Europe. I appreciated being able to check in early. I stayed here for one night and thought the hotel was very nice and service was excellent. The front desk was very helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean and nice. I had breakfast in the morning and the options were great and the food was tasty.
We have stayed 1-2 weeks each every year in the last 3 years and it has always been a great experience that we keep coming back. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. I have seen a lot of them again and again in the last years and they always have a smile on their face and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is really nice and the restaurant downstairs - Talcuan...
Nice, quiet location a short walk from the Cartagena Metro stop. Nice breakfast restaurant, with a great spread and wonderful staff. All the interactions with the hotel staff were very nice. The room was large with twin beds (I was a solo traveler), and everything about it, including the bathroom was very impressive.
I was disappointed when I checked in to be told I was to pay over $600. The man was hopeless so the manager had to fix my booking payment. I booked 2 months before at the rate of 388 for 3 nights. Overall my wife and I were not impressed with the poor check-in service and the hotel was very average. When a mistake is made by the hotel they should offer a free drink or complimentary breakfast. The room was large and with a nice parquet instead of an ugly moquette. Unfortunately it didn't feel very clean and I had just one very small window. The price was way too high compared to the general level of the hotel. More than 300€ per night, not including breakfast! Also the area isn't very nice, but well connected (as the entire city tbh). The building from the outside is very ugly.

Good rooms. Comfortable for Business stay. Take a walk and enjoy architecture of Madrid. Reasonable breakfast spread
I had a pleasant experience here. Positives -Hotel bang in the centre of Sol Madrid -Great power shower -Comfortable beds -Friendly staff Negatives -Quite noisy, but bearable. -Rooms fairly small with no good views -Breakfast is ok, nt a huge amount on offer All round a pleasant stay for a 3 star hotel.
Room was nice, modern and clean. However the staff were not very friendly and came across quite blunt. It is in a good location in Madrid that it is close to a lot of things you want to see. However the street in particular is a little dodge and it is quite noisy on the street as well.
While the hotel offers a prime location near Puerta del Sol in Madrid and spacious, clean rooms filled with natural sunlight, it's essential to note that noise from adjacent rooms can be easily heard. In particular, my room's proximity to the service area resulted in frequent disruptions to my morning sleep due to constant openings and closings. Thus, I would caution against booking this hotel for...

Great location and easy access to all transportation means, cleanliness very good, streets around not that great, breakfast satisfactory, some of the staff not so friendly
excellent 3 star hotel, in madrid City Center. very good AC, good shower and has a deposit safe in the room, clean room. friendly staff, OK breakfast. close to a supermarket (Carrefour). Overall a great cost-effective place to stay for a couple of nights in Madrid

My family and I had a great experience at the Petite Palace Madrid. Firstly, the front desk staff were all very helpful with all our questions and/or doubts. Excellent hotel! I utterly enjoyed my stay at Cliper. Trini and Jose did a great job at the reception. Breakfast was great and Angelines always made sure that we had everything we needed. Unforgettable experience!
I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the Cliper Hotel. Great location and breakfast (thanks Valentina!) comfortable rooms and a very friendly staff that always received me with a smile. Nasaret, Esther and Laura even helped me prepare my birthday dinner with friends. Two thumbs up!
Clean room and comfortable bed. excellent variety of options for breakfast and for people with gluten and dairy intolerance and other products. Variety for all types of diet.
Very clean hotel & very helpful employees. Hotel is very central and I would definitely stay there on my next visit.
The Hotel was so tidy and nice, you feel comfortable and safe. The nice thing about the hotel is that you are in the middle of Madrid, so all the places are near and u can take a bicycle and visit everything. The breakfast was really rich and good, and for people doing diet, their breakfast are great. Overall everything was excellent, Pedro one of receptionist was great and so welcoming.

Location and service was excellent! 10/10 Subway, train and bus stop right in front of the hotel. All questions/requests were handled in a professional and very friendly manner, they made us feel very welcome. The bathroom was in need of a renovation, but as we were told, they were going to close the hotel next month to get everything renewed, so they'll get their extra star for the rooms after that...
Perfectly acceptable if a little pricy. As others have said the WiFi is a bit slow but not unusable (and it's free). No coffee or tea making facilities in the room but perhaps that's too much to expect for a 3 star hotel. Very handy for the metro though as it's pretty much built on top of the station. In short it's fine if not spectacular.
Excellent location! The Metro, local train, and bus are literally right outside. You can take C-10 train straight from and to the airport too. The staff is super friendly and responsive. The rooms do feel a bit dated and the AC was a little too loud for us to sleep with it. The bathroom didn't have an extractor so it would get a bit stuffy after a shower. I'd be happy to stay here again! Specially...
A wonderful hotel. Clean room and lovely bathroom. Including a safe and fridge. Next to a Metro which gives you access to the airport and train stations. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. I would stay again next time I am in Madrid.
We just stayed for two nights Nov 1 and 2. Although the rooms are somewhat dated, this hotel offers spotless cleanliness, and excellent service. From the friendly checkin to checkout, the staff made us feel welcome and secure. This is a very safe neighborhood, and the location - right at the Piramedes metro station, is great. We spent several days in the hotel in late March. Great location, good, comfy rooms, decent breakfast. Loved the customer service, Sergio, one of the employees, was super nice, made our stay really comfortable! Thank you, Sergio!
The location of the hotel is perfect, metro few minutes away. The personnel was very friendly! The only disadvantage was noise at night (due to thin walls, or our room location...). Apart from that we highly recommend it!
Nice space, nice staff and nice breakfast. There's just no phone charger near the bed and we cant regulate room temperature. But is a a very nice place for the price and location
Gooood option to stay in city center .. Everything is nearby Workers staff are soooooooooo friendly and goood .. They know English which is really good and makes you feel very responsible.. Try to reserve by booking as I think its cheaper from direct reservation.

hello all we stayed in hotel centro last week and what a lovely hotel. It was so clean and the staff were so helpful to us at all time giving us guides to where we should go and then welcoming us Home thank you to all the staff
I expected a bit more from a Melia affiliate. The hotel is nice, in any case. Clean, well positioned and the personell is very gentle. A bit noisy.
There is a constant machine noise during the night which could be disturbing for some people. However the place is confortable and the breakfast wonderfull!
Very centrally located. Grand Via, shopping hub, walking distance to the Oriente Plaza, behind hotel is the local mercato, awesomely fresh Iberico ham and local small eating joints. Tryp has the best breakfast and friendly staffs.
The hotel is in a good location in Gran Via, the rooms are clean and quite modern. The beds are okay, not super nice, and the pillows are the classic Spanish kind (big and hard). The bathroom was big and in good condition. We paid extra for an exterior room with balcony. This balcony was huge and the view over the busy street was great, especially at night!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is great, only 5 minutes walk to the subway station. Check-in was efficient. The room has everything I need, the only downside is that the bathroom is small.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our first time visit to Madrid. It is within walking distance to all the major sites we wanted to visit. The room was clean and the staff extremely helpful. We would stay at the hotel again in our next visit.
The customer service was excellent. The room was small but clean and nicely appointed. However, my room was on the 1st floor, and there was construction going on the first floor each day. Also, I had troubles more than once with the television. It kept not working. And it was not an HD television, so there were few channels. The hotel is ideally located, you can walk to anything.
We stayed at this hotel while we were in Madrid. It is beautifully located, half a block from the Gran Via, and then walking distance to all of the city center attractions. It was just as nice as the tourist agency said it would be. I've posted some views from our room window. There is also an old-fashioned wrought iron elevator that is fun to ride and difficult to photograph!
We, five people group, have been to Madrid for the first time. Fall in love with the City. We stay at Petit Palace. This is a cozy place, good service, very convenient for sightseeing, shopping. The breakfasts is delicious with nice decoration bar. Must come back here.
The stuff were very helpful and sweet! The shower curtain was the only thing to bother me really and i could have done with some body lotion as i didnt carry with me since i flew with low cost airline and planned to shop galore. The bathroom tiles r beautiful and so is the breakfast.
Petit Palace was perfect. The location is right near Gran Via were you can do your shopping. You see not far from The major sites add everything is walking distance. The rooms were nice and up to date. The front desk was very helpful and really sweet. I would definitely keep this hotel in mind send planning on returning to Madrid.

The location is perfect! On the gran. I payed for a larger room and what I got is a room that was probably originally one big room that split to 2, became my room was very small and has some sort of a wall in side or cubicle in the middle of the room. We had a really good experience with this place. The personnel was nice and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, while the location was great for us, situated pretty close to metro stations. The cleaning service was also very good, doing its job every single day. It wasn't cheap, but I would say that it's worth it!
Small rooms but clean. CAREFUL with id cards don't forget to ask for it back. I had to pay to get mine back. Location is great ambiance restaurants .
Pros: * superb breakfast, * very friendly reception staff, * clean room, * access to the swimming pool, * large washroom, * convenient location (two metro stations nearby). Cons: * central air conditioning was not working strongly enough in hot July (it was hard to sleep in the hot room), * kind of outdated and worn out furniture in the room.
Absolutely excellent hotel in the outskirts of central Madrid. Clean and comfortable at a decent price. Has a pool but it's not always open to hotel guests.
Excellent choice located at the north center of Madrid. Very good breakfast, super clean rooms, friendly staff and close to metro stations in line 10 (2 blocks) and line 1 (4 blocks). Shops, restaurants and convenience stores all around. Very much recommended!
Hotel is quite old and worn down. Was a fine stay for a few nights but wouldn't stay here again. Many much nicer and newer hotels in the area. Nothing was dirty but it definitely felt very used which was unpleasant.
Breakfast buffet had a large variety of hot and cold meals. But it was the same every day. A bit of added variety from day to day would be better for guests who stay for more than a couple of days
